“First visit to this restaurant. We went for a family dinner. Turned up without reservations but we were welcomed and seated. We ordered mixed chicken sharing kebab. It was delicious and very tasty. Service is fast could be more smiley and friendly. The food was prepared quickly. It’s priced reasonably. Inside is modern, clean and interior is airy. It has a nice small outside area.”

“I took Mum out here on her Birthday and she and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was magnificent, varied menu and enticing presentation. Staff were friendly and attentive and the decor and music offered a lovely Mediterranean escape on a rainy English afternoon. Free complimentary bread and dip. I highly recommend eating out here. Quieter during the day but can be very popular at peak times so recommend booking a table prior. If you haven’t eaten here yet do it now! You won’t be disappointed.”

“My wife and myself had a lovely breakfast, all made with fresh Sussex produce. We especially liked the sausages from Sussex sausage company. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing and the staff were attentive and polite and nothing was too much trouble. My wife had her favourite drink, matcha, which she said was amazing and I had a really nice cortado. We even bought a loaf of bread and some pastries for later in the day. We will definitely return, thank you Salt and Ginger.”

When most of my purchases are conducted online it was refreshing to be able to go into a store, find the products I wanted and leave with them on the same day, thanks to the kind and helpful staff.”

“Great shop... Go to for any DIY or tools. Normally always has good stock with commodity supplies but if not you can order online at 7pm at night and they deliver to store by 10am the next morning. Brilliant service thanks”

“We took our grandchildren to the Christmas afternoon tea experience today & it was fabulous. It was so well organised. Tables were prepared for each booking with name badges & food already in place. Father Christmas & Mrs Christmas visited each child & they were given an age appropriate gift that our grandchildren loved. The food was pitched just right for both children & adults & we all had a great time. There was also a later photo opportunity with Father Christmas by the Christmas tree. We'll done to everyone involved in making this such a great event.”

“Part of a full day's very scenic walking enjoying the landscape but at the time was unaware tht the farm actually has a history dating back over 1,000 years, with evidence of human settlement from the Mesolithic and Bronze Ages. It was once owned by the Knights Templar and has been home to various farming families over the centuries. And we found Wildflour Café as well which was very nice.”

Hyman Hill was a breath of fresh air after a turmoil experience with an online only agent - it really makes a difference having a physical branch where you can talk to people, plus someone always answering the phone.”

“Not only the best experience at a pet store, but possibly the best customer service experience I've ever received. I recently moved to the area and have been visiting this store for all of my dogs needs. Every time I visit the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They remember me and my pet, as well as his needs and use that knowledge to make well informed recommendations. I must say, it is a joy going in every time. They always seem genuinely happy to see me and my dog and it's very clear they have a deep love for animals. My dog doesn't like being touched on his behind and one of the staff even sat with me and my dog and showed me some training exercises to help combat that. I can't recommend this place enough, if you are in the area, please pay these guys a visit.”

“I had a very nice stay there this week. It arguably got the best situ of any winery in the UK and it was particularly nice with the autumnal leaves on the vines. The staff were lovely, the barn is lovely place to stay in with a nice log burner in the lounge area and the meals were very good. I'd highly recommend.”

“Wow! We just visited the Blue Lagoon for the first time and what an amazing experience all round. The pool itself is lovely and warm and so relaxing. We connected our music and had the pool to ourselves. 100% would recommend and will definitely be back. Courtney and Mackenzie were so helpful friendly and professional and are fantastic members of staff.”

“While visiting, I forgot that I am actually on my holidays and not at war time. Impressed by this fort. I takes you through the times of both world wars and the history of wartime Britain. It's a dog friendly place but be aware that all the ramps are made of steel and they get extremely hot in summer.”

“Easy walk around this reservoir on a well maintained path, there is a bird hide en route, sadly not much in view today. There is a car park, a cafe and toilets, and dogs are welcome, but I think have to be kept on a lead. Very pleasant place for people of all ages, splendid views of the Downs in the distance.”
