“Went to the Glo Wild event last week. I thought is was even better than last year and year before that. We were lucky with the weather too. Very well organised event and so imaginative and spectacular.”

It's a dog friendly place but be aware that all the ramps are made of steel and they get extremely hot in summer.”

“Easy walk around this reservoir on a well maintained path, there is a bird hide en route, sadly not much in view today. There is a car park, a cafe and toilets, and dogs are welcome, but I think have to be kept on a lead. Very pleasant place for people of all ages, splendid views of the Downs in the distance.”

“An amazing unexpected reserve on the edge of busy Burgess Hill. Fascinating history recorded on information boards at points of interest throughout the ancient woodland. Birdsong and wild flowers in abundance. Easy free parking, free entry, dogs allowed. Definitely a must visit.”

“Bewbush Water Gardens is tucked away behind residential streets and edged by the Mill Pond and Ifield Brook, it’s a peaceful little pocket of nature, complete with footbridges, ducks, and the occasional philosophical heron pretending not to judge your life choices. Before it became a tranquil garden spot, the area was part of the old Bewbush Farm estate and, later, the outer edge of Crawley's New Town expansion in the 1970s and 80s. It was pretty wild and overgrown for a while, basically a swampy patch of scrubland that only the bravest dog walkers dared enter. Now? It’s been transformed into a lush wetland park, great place to walk the dog or feed some ducks, or just to escape the screech of the A23.”

“First time I been to big park what great place to go too, 2 minutes walk to park met my friend there with her dogs. Nice cafe, had a coffee and piece of carrot cake yum yum. Very friendly in the cafe and other people there enjoy there self, one thing like to say the kids and teenagers we spoke to very polite.”

“Wow! We just visited the Blue Lagoon for the first time and what an amazing experience all round. The pool itself is lovely and warm and so relaxing. We connected our music and had the pool to ourselves. 100% would recommend and will definitely be back. Courtney and Mackenzie were so helpful friendly and professional and are fantastic members of staff.”

“Great place for a walk at lunch time. It is a haven of wildlife if your into macro photography or wildlife photography it is a great place to go and shoot all year round it has quite varied habitats. It is well looked after and it is an oasis at lunchtime during the week. You can go on a lovely walk or find a bench in the shade or sit by the pond and watch dragonflies and frogs.”

“When I joined David Lloyd, Rosa from the membership team was a great help in getting me all set up and made the whole process really easy. I decided to use my free PT sessions with Sarah Green, as I was particularly interested in her running background. We had three sessions together, where she introduced me to the weights equipment and focused on building leg strength. I really enjoyed the sessions and learned so much in a short space of time. Sarah was supportive, knowledgeable, and made everything easy to follow. I’d highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for guidance and motivation. So far, I’m really enjoying the club and all the facilities. It’s a great environment to train”

“Nice sheltered shingle beach within Shoreham harbour, next to the lifeboat station, popular with anglers, swimmers and launching small water craft like SIBs and paddleboards”

“Great place to have a nice seaside walk. Good to watch the birds in the lagoon. The one downside is the bikes that whizz along there at high speed. I know it's a shared path but the bikes could slow down.”

“For a peaceful and tranquil walk with nature, knowing you are not far from the modern world if needed, with parking dotted around the woods it is always something we can all do with from time to time, I am lucky in that i now live in this beautiful area but if you find yourself visiting i would strongly recommend a visit to these woods. On the main man made pathways there is access for wheelchairs and even on some of the trodden in footpaths, it is full of beautiful trees, nature and wildlife.”
