“Lovely little park, plants, trees and wildlife”
“Lovely park to visit, dog and child friendly. There’s a playground for children and a large field for ball games. It’s also a beautiful spot to loop around for a walk or jog. There is also a cafe, never tried the cafe but I’ve heard good things.”
“If it's just a quick hour or so that you wish to kill, or a full day, then visit Mewsbrook Park & the Pedalo hire shack. Each hire session is 30 mins long & with the lake being quite large, that time goes very quickly. The chap that runs the pedalo hire is so polite friendly & helpful - not to mention chatty - you'll be hard pushed to drag yourself away after a half hour session. In terms of value, it's not bad either. It costs just £2.50 for a child & £3.50 for an adult. My family love coming to the park & the pedalo shack especially as there is a cafe (very good) & miniature railway in the park too. An easy 10/10 score.”
“Great community park, enjoyed by many. Well cared for.”
“It is a pretty park, that includes a cafe, gardens, an open air theatre and sea views.”
“Nice little rest area. You can sit on the grass, chill out, meet friendly dogs, have a picnic and enjoy the fountain”
“I often walk my dog here... it's such a lovely tranquil place and is beautifully maintained by both the council and the Friends of Marine Gardens”
“If you want to spend good quality time with your family in calm but still all the things available nearby, Lancing beach is really good option. I love this place as parking is really easy to find no lots of walking after parking you car . And after spending time on beach you can enjoy nice walk in big field with hot cup of coffee or ice-cream with your kids from the cafe spotted on the beach site. And thre is a park for kids and skating area as well.loved this place”
“Went from curling 7kg to 18kg in two months and has helped massively in my Motocross career spot on personal trainers for weights I like it so much I go every day haha”
“Good amount of stuff for children to play with. Also i love to see the fact that there is some shade available to stay under and toilets are literally there so don't have to panic if the little one has to go. It also has some changing rooms if you need to change your little one's diaper.”
“A lovely centre and a very accommodating friendly receptionist. My husband and I both have a couple of disabilities autism being one of them which makes a warm water pool perfect for us due to our sensory needs. We was worried as we were not able to secure transport for our 2:30pm. The receptionist was so lovely as to adjust our timing for us so we did not miss out we are very grateful. Would recommend this pool and is very family friendly as well for those with children.”
“I've been a member of this gym for a few years now and the staff are just fantastic. I'd been unable to attend for a while and returned recently and attended a class and Yas, who led it was amazing! Not only how she conducted her class (Aqua) but how she checked in on me as I am pregnant! If you want to a join a gym in East Grinstead this is the one! Thanks All ❤️”
“Lovely walk, but wear boots. Not well marked, but managed not to get lost!”
“Really nice peaceful place for a walk especially if you have a dog.”
“Lovely walk above the cliffs.Benches and a childrens play area and car park”
“A great place to take the children, whether it's for half an hour or the day. Plus there is a community area at the back with a pond so that you can teach your children about pond life. Just be aware that this is an area used by people for different reasons other than being a child in a park, there's also an area for dogs. This is fenced off which is brilliant for dogs that like to run away from their owners”
“Great spot for our kiddos who are a few months into skateboarding. Lots of variety and a great park. Could do with a little bit of care and tidy up. But all in all a great location with friendly skaters and bmx riders”
“I joined primarily to use the gym. It is well equipped, never too busy and has a friendly atmosphere. The membership is good value. Overall I am very impressed.”
“Very good walking around here with nice views and wildlife. Easy nearby free parking as well”
“Went to see the Christmas Trees at the Royal Pavilion, I go every year when they are put and dressed. There is a beautiful tree in each room, and they are all different. The year they had Father Christmas which you would have to book to see. Well worth going to see at Christmas.”
“Gorgeous place right on my doorstep. Perfect for early morning walks with the dog”
“I’ve been taking my 2 year old for swimming lessons and my 10 year old for roller skating on Saturday. The pool changing rooms are always clean and I love how sunny and well lit the pool area is. I was also surprised by how fast the water slide is. So much fun. The roller skating is really fun as well and I like how they rotate the DJs week to week.”
“Nice green space with decent length waiting time parking nearby”
“A new project growing food by the community for the community in a lovely park. Also a wildlife pond, orchard, great kids park, paddling pool and Magpie charity shop make it a great park visit!”
“I love doing my lane swims at Billingshurst as everyone is very respectful of your abilities and friendly. The pool is small however this does not matter it is always kept clean and neat and well maintained. I have never had any issues with crowding.”
“Very nice area, large fields, play area, some gym equipment and path ways which is handy for disabled people. Brilliant for the kids, have picnics and fun family time.”
“My son has just had his third swimming lesson here. He has made more progress in those 3 lessons than he did in 2 years with another swim school. The staff are gentle, kind and clearly know their stuff! Very impressed!”
“I am very impressed at the welcome, the facilities and the efficient set up. The pool has many uses in a day and it is changed seamlessly and on time. Everyone friendly and everything well cleaned and set up!”
