“We purchased a bed and mattress from Bensons for Beds. The store and staff were friendly and welcoming, I’m unsure of the gentleman who helped us but he was lovely. We were there with our daughter choosing the bed and mattress for her and she can be very difficult at making a choice if given to many. The member of staff was extremely helpful and welcoming managed to choose a bed frame and mattress. Bed was delivered on the expected delivery date and also the delivery man were brilliant. “Went in for a couple of dining room chairs. They were not matching but it really did not matter. They were very sturdy and comfortable to sit on. Found out the price £5 each. The staff were lovely and I am extremely pleased with my purchases. If you are setting up home please do go in and browse. You might pick up a bargain or two. I have no hesitation to give a full five stars not only for the cooker but for the outstanding customers service. They traveled over an hour to come and fix a small problem with one of the burners. My Karndean kitchen floor is beautiful and I could not be any more pleased with the skill and attention to detail from start to finish with choosing, measuring and fitting my beautiful wool carpet which at the fabulous prices meant I was able to upgrade to a superior quality. The fitters Kelvin, Russell and Steve are tidy, efficient and swift showing a great deal of care moving my furniture where I hadn't been able and placing it back where it was. I could not recommend them any more highly. My home looks amazing, thank-you all.”

“Ordered a new mattress through the here and then returned to purchase a bed frame too, they were very friendly in store and efficient in delivering with both items coming earlier than predicted. Also, the delivery team were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they took their shoes off so they didn't mess up my brand new carpet, that shows respect that isn't always seen these days. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from here again, in fact, this was a return purchase as they sold me my last mattress many years ago.”

The service provided is the icing on the cake, with John holding onto our order for an extra couple of weeks when we ended up having family commitments. “I never appreciated how good the layout, quality, store tidiness and overall service was until we called into B&Q for a change! Here we have friendly staff and customer friendly payment tills, happy with cash,card payments and no customer-repelling self service tills which are clearly inadequate for larger items. Good work staff and management and we won’t be going anywhere else again and please don’t ruin everything by getting rid of the tills!”
