“Great free place to visit to have a nice walk and sit and feed the ducks. You can park on the road near the entrance for free. I grabbed some swan and duck food from Purdy's pet shop in Coventry before my visit. The ducks devoured it.”

The pool is clean and well-maintained, perfect for both casual swimmers and serious training. I particularly enjoyed the fitness classes; they cater to all skill levels and are led by energetic instructors. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place to work out or unwind. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!”

“Great place - lots of little walks to go on and the Wildlings (Forest School) session hosted here is class. Great leaders! The playground has a fenced off area for younger kids, which is great and a larger play frame for the older ones.”

“I have been coming to this gym for the last 3 months. I really liked the place, environment and the facilities in total. I enjoyed working here for another great reason and it is to the trainer's and specially Curtis and he has been supportive of the folks working here. “Lovely open space, good for the dogs too on the exercise area. Bit muddy at this time of year as you'd expect but not terrible in walking boots. Going to be lovely in the summer!! Update June 2024: it is indeed lovely in the summer! Only a few muddy spots in dips in the path - easily stepped over or around. Lots of greenery and wildlife.”

“I was there for bloods to be taken. They are brilliant. They are in the Memorial Hall. Diabetic eye tests are tested inside the actual Leisure Centre. They are also fantastic.”

“Great place to swim or workout in the gym. Staff are very friendly, and facilities are clean, well maintained and well equipped. The gym has a variety of different equipment, from Cardio to resistance. Membership is very reasonable, and the long opening hours means it's great for an early morning or late night workout. Swimming lessons are available here.”

“Went there for a cheerleading competition and it was really great with a big hall and lots and lots and lots of seats !!”

“Just joined 3 weeks ago. I've done a few of morning classes.. zumba, legs bums, tums & body tone. Done one evening class Clubbercise, which was challenging as I've no coordination, but it was fun. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Nice experience so far.”

“I really like Wyken Slough, any day of the year there are birds to be fed. I often see rare birds perched on logs protruding from the large pond. There are benches all a long the circumference of the pond, which allows for pit stops if needs be. The best part about this place, is the forraging. There is plenty to forrage, in the winter I was able to make jam from fresh damsons, bullace, rosehips, sloes and apples. If you venture into the overgrown trails beyond the pond, there is plenty to forrage and explore. I often see the odd burnt out abandoned motorcycle or trolley in bushes lol. Another good thing. is there are Horses to look at, you aren't allowed to feed them but if you go to the fence they will come and say hello. There are two distinct downsides to Wyken Slough, One: If you make the mistake of going during school pickup hours, the car park is absolutely packed and it's hard to get in or out, also people are all irritable. The only other issue, is youths on motorbikes and quad bikes like to use the field behind the pond as their track, when it rains you can see oil come up from the ground, in all the puddles. Not to mention the risk of anti-social behavior, although any sign of the police seems to make them leave. 4/5 :)”

“A peaceful place along the roads of Coventry. This is located near along the Humber road and is a widely spread area covered with greenery everywhere. The place is used by people to do cycling, exercise, jogging and walks. Pets are also allowed into this. Children can find swing, see-saw, etc as outdoor games. If you are a fitness freak then you got qum equipment in the open air and is not crowded too so you can use them almost at any time I can say. There is a table tennis court too in this park. Absolute place for peace of mind.”

“This is a beautiful small park with a charming lake in the middle that is home to a swan and her baby chicks and other species of ducks and geese.”

“This spacious green area near Nuneaton town center is a delightful place to visit, especially on sunny days. It offers scenic walking paths and features a small, free museum with a café, adding to its charm. Parking on-site is limited, but alternatives are available at Sainsbury's or the Ropewalk, though note that card payments may not be accepted. It's a great spot for a daytime outing or dog walking, but I would recommend avoiding it after dark.”

“One of my favorite parks in Coventry. It is in walking distance to the city centre and next to Bablake School, divided by an upper railroad and decorated by old storyteller, noble trees. The bird's pond is now under reconstruction, but its playgrounds and the fenced basketball and football yards are giving the same cosy leisure as always.”
