Steak house in Edinburgh

“Dropped of relatives here as they are staying in the hotel whilst in town. We were allowed to leave their luggage as it was too soon to check in but we decided to have some lunch in the hotel restaurant. Food was fantastic, plenty and reasonably inexpensive. A lunch for 5 plus drinks was £60. Great service, fresh food, cheerful staff. Would highly recommend a visit.”

“Visiting family in Edinburgh and needed a place to meet for a casual lunch with 4 young kids. Brill value for money and a family friendly pub. Had a great meal and my veggie husband was really pleased with his options too. Staff were lovely. Would definitely go back.”

The outdoor seating is a nice bonus, especially with the weather is right for enjoying a cocktail while people watching on the Royal Mile. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience with great food and quick service, This place is a solid choice!”

“Just had an amazing steak with king prawns and all the trimmings. 10oz ribeye cooked to perfection by chef Robbie. This comes after an extremely disappointing steak at a well known commercial steak house on Saturday. Robbie smashed them out of the park with a great cut of meat, cooked and served perfectly by Andrew. Thanks to all the staff at Deer Park for a great stay.”

“We stayed at the hotel (Now a Marriot), and decided to eat here because it was late. The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. While the menu is not extensive (if you want that, go to Cheesecake Factory), we loved and enjoyed our meals, and our waiter was an absolute gem. We enjoyed our dinner meal here and the hotel!”

“Staying at the Premier Inn, I stopped here for a drink every night bar one, and had a meal here too. I like it. The bar closes very, very early, but they simply don't have enough customers to justify keeping the place open. Staff are very friendly, food was good, but take ID or you won't get alcohol, even if you are having a meal. My niece is 27 and my nephew 24, both were refused service.”

“Tanya was so busy serving everyone at the bar and in the restaurant but did a fantastic job. So friendly and took a genuine interest in us. Food was really tasty - surf and turf was great succulent sirloin steak cooked perfectly. The ribs were fab too. We'd definitely return.”

“Very pleasant experience, the food was good and the staff was very friendly expecially this employee with the tag Crewmate Matheo was super friendly and polite. The only reason i cant give it a 5 star is because they didnt take cash(shocked to my core btw) and ice cream machine was broken but i suspose i was just unlucky i guess that day. UPDATE, came back after 2 years place got even better and once again this time actually MANAGER Matheo was a delight to be served by, and the food was even better.”
