“Yesterday 10 minutes before store closing time I purchased some food items and tobacco, I was in a hurry, so when I reached my home I discovered that I forgot my tobacco. I actually lost all my hopes to get it back, I called the store this morning and a very kind gentleman, said that he will look into cameras and will call me back. I had a call back in 10 minutes and my tobacco pouch was found and it was handed to me with a big smile. Thank you very much.”

“We had a wonderful experience here for lunch. The staff was so lovely! You could tell it was important to them that we were happy with everything and we were. The food was delicious! My husband had the fish and chips and said they were right up there for some of the best and my house salad was so full of ingredients I could barely eat all of it. We would highly recommend:)”

“Dropped in for a visit for somewhere different to have a zoo visit with the kids. After reading reviews I knew it would be small and I do feel that the prices do reflect this. It's well kept and the lemur walk was definitely a favourite. They also have a large cafe, a small outdoor playpark, small gift shop and lovely clean toilet facilities. Lots of space for parking which is free. Overall we spent around an hour and half taking our time. For a zoo just finding its feet it is worth a little visit if in the area.”

“The service in here is always 10/10 the most lovely girls serving and making drinks and genuinely seem happy to help. The space itself is great, nice and spacious with plenty tables and lots of tables with charging points! It is popular as a place to work/study for a reason :) nice location and seems less busy than the princes street locations Toilets are kept nice and clean also”

“Fabulous apartment, great location, spotlessly clean. Thanks to Marc for his help. March 2025 update - another great stay at QSA. Marc went out of his way to get me into the apartment earlier than check in time which was much appreciated. Apartment 19/13 is amazing and my favorite to date. Has everything you will ever need. Wish I was staying longer….will definitely be back and wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Edinburgh.”

“Been before so grandparents knew what expect Great displays of fish and creatures to keep the kids happy plus spending our money in the shop. They enjoyed the carousel that takes under the water so you can look up at the fish and sharks swimming overhead. Friday afternoon so fairly busy but we did manage to park.”

“We come here most Saturday's. We enjoy the chatter with the staff, Jill, Sara, Brian & Natalia they make us feel so welcome. I've have honestly never had a bad meal or bad experience.”

“I've tried a few Chinese takeaways and this one is definitely a 10/10 the chicken fried rice is perfect not the white rice other shops do this is the proper chicken fried rice if you know you know. The onion rings are very good too and cant wait to try different dishes”

“Small food only supermarket at the airport with friendly staffs and great selection of food with opening hours from 6am to 11pm. A wide selection sandwiches and pastas along with a broad lineup of smoothies, milkshakes, flavoured water and other drinks is a great aid to the travelers. The store also offers meat and vegetables and other groceries along with milk, bread, confectionery, deserts and delli. The store is very well stocked and clean at all times. The staffs were very helpful and attentive. The store provides almost every wines and spirits in the M&S lineup Everything under a roof for the travelers.”

“Absolutely fantastic. I'm old enough to have eaten lots of Chinese food and this take away is one of the very best. The salt and pepper ribs were falling off the bone and really nice cuts - not too many fatty end bits that I'm not a fan of. Singapore noodles are fab too. Lots of chicken and prawns and a good balance in the "sauce" so it's not too dry. Curry sauce was excellent (sorry to go against your previous review Jojo). Hot, spicy and fab. The young guy that has served me every time is friendly, patient and helpful. Prices are good and menu options extensive. I've not used the delivery service as I'm only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended.”

“This parking is reasonable and convient for the City Centre. After parking there recently I left a folder of docuements on top of the pay machine. Not only were they picked up and returned to a suitable place for me to collect therm by David, but Craig, the site manager, was very helpful about contacting myself and the university staff to get the folder back to me. “Spent one night in Emerald Guest House with my boyfriend. The place is easily accessible by bus or by car, bus stop is just in front of the house. We found our room and the whole house neat and tidy and very well equipped. Breakfast was amazing, great range of choice served in a lovely conservatory. Would definitely recommend Emerald House!”

“We needed a room for one night (travelled up to see Robbie Williams in concert); so we needed a room, and that was it. Didn’t need staff or a breakfast, just somewhere to sleep. And this was PERFECT. Parking is limited but we managed to bag one of the two parking spaces at the front, which was mega handy. The room was meticulously clean, seemed like it was all brand new furniture and very clean and quick thick pile carpet. Instructions to get there and get in were straight forward and easy to follow. Just pick your key up from the lockbox, let yourself into the building and then your room. The hotel was quiet (only saw one other couple while we were there), ideally placed with a bus stop across the road and very clean. Perfect place for a quick overnighter.”

“Great place to eat and drink something! Sweet portions of scons, and more! All surrounded by the botanic garden makes this place a nice place to be. Feeling relax with the nature! Located in the heart of the botanic garden you will find this place, nice terrace but inside is so cool as well. Downstairs there is a nice shop and part of the museum with expos!”

The pricing is very reasonable compared to most airport venues, which makes it a popular choice. The interior is large and always very busy, with a constant buzz and background noise. This might feel overwhelming for some, but for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere it’s actually a plus. Despite the crowd and noise, the quality is consistent with what you expect from a Wetherspoon. The food is good, the drinks are well priced, and it’s a comfortable place to spend some time while waiting for your flight. If you want to enjoy a meal or a drink at a fair price inside the airport, I would definitely recommend stopping here. Friendly stuff too”
