“Calendar House is one of the most attractive and highly recommended locations to visit in Falkirk, standing alongside iconic attractions like The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. The House is surrounded by the beautiful Calendar Park, featuring dense, mature tree growth, including both very large coniferous and deciduous trees. It is an ideal spot to relax, enjoy the tranquility, and admire the surrounding nature and landscapes. Calendar House is easily accessible; it is located approximately 25 minutes on foot from the nearest railway station, Falkirk High.”
“Amazing park, with lots to see and do for everyone!”
“Joined a really nice hour long cruise onto Loch Lomond. All staff were great and boat was nice a spacious with outdoor seating upstairs and indoor seating downstairs. The boat had a wee cafe serving drinks and snacks and toilets were available too. Throughout the voyage there were audio descriptors of what we were passing on the shore. Overall a really nice cruise out onto the loch and well worth a visit.”
“We have just returned from a fantastic 5 day holiday at Loch Achray. Like a previous reviewer stated we have travelled with Lochs and Glens several times and at different hotels and have always enjoyed our stays. Everyone at Achray was great, they cannot do enough for you. Our main driver Alan (Woods) I think was brilliant his knowledge of the areas we travelled to was amazing. His jokes and 'true' stories amused us all he really is a great guy. Thank you Lochs and Glens we are looking forward to planning our next trip with you in the near future.”
“Google Review for Whitelee Windfarm, Eaglesham, Scotland ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Whitelee Windfarm is a gem located in Eaglesham, Scotland, offering a unique experience for families and nature lovers alike. The drive to the site was pleasant, with stunning views on a sunny and breezy day. The farm is perfect for walks, biking, and picnics, with separate tracks for mountain bikers and plenty of space to relax amid a mesmerizing landscape dotted with windmills. It's a dog-friendly area, making it ideal for pet owners too! The central picnic area is well-equipped, and there's a picturesque lake within the farm where you can enjoy nature's soothing beauty and spot various bird species. The ample parking space, along with an EV charging station powered by solar energy, adds to the convenience. Stop by the café for delicious coffee and snacks, and be sure to explore the interactive visitor center, which offers engaging activities for both kids and adults. The viewing deck and designated selfie points enhance the experience, allowing you to capture the stunning scenery. Overall, Whitelee Windfarm is a must-visit destination! Bring some food for a lovely picnic, enjoy the outdoors, and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Entry and parking are free, making it accessible for everyone. Can't wait to return!”
“We went for a drive around Scotland and kayaking in Luss was the highlight for me! Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend! Kayaking was £30 for 2 hours which also came with the hire of a life jacket. I had my car keys and they were able to give me a life jacket with pockets. They also come as twin kayaks and you can alter your time depending on your budget and time constraints.”
“Fantastic experience! We recently departed from.Follestone kent on waverly to the pool of London Tower Bridge. Well organised throughout. Crew couldn't been more helpful despite a very busy workload. Food on board whilst simple and limited due to constraints of a boats galley was spot on.Good portions. Sometimes long queues but just came back later. Good value and profits all go to running the boat. Altho its easy to spend £70 on food and drink over the day for two. Coach pick up after the trip was top notch and well organised too. All in all a wonderful day out. 100% recommend. Don't put it off she can't last forever!”
“Home from a lovely stay in Carmel apartments, I cannot recommend this apartment enough, 5⭐ everything is of a great quality, with lovely touches around, it's equipped with everything you might need, and the garden is beautiful. The garden and apartment area is securely fenced in so very safe and there's ample parking available in the street.”
“Went on a rainy day, still it was an excellent park for a dog walk, especially if they like water.”

“We were lucky enough to do a day trip in Scotland with James. We all loved him (70 to 6). His knowledge of the country, how best to spend our time, humor and just all around great human made our day in Scotland one day we will never forget. We hope to come back for an extend tour and we will only come if James can be our guide. His diary books quickly. Don’t hesitate if you are considering him for a guide. You won’t regret it.”
“Brilliant cruise travelling with Thorne Travel to Norway on MSC Virtuosa. Coach to Southampton from local pick up point - brilliant! Great hosts accompanied us too. Can’t rate highly enough . Great cruise from start to finish.”
“Julie is the most accommodating travel agent, she arranged separate travel for our party so we could surprise the birthday girl, and she informed the hotel of the secret and they left a card and champagne in the room for her. Above and beyond. Thank you so much, it was an amazing trip from start to finish, all our travel. Secrets and events tickets sorted before we left home. Can't thank you enough.”
“Sara and Maciek and their Brambling Bus were one of the highlights of our trip and a wonderful way to end our time in Scotland! They planned the perfect itinerary in and around Stirling that included Stirling Castle, Church of the Holy Rude, Doune Castle, Deanston Distillery, and the National Wallace Monument. Maciek's love and knowledge of Scottish history was apparent and he gave us an overview of each of the sites we visited before we entered. He also took care of waiting in line and purchasing tickets for us - a real luxury! Sara was an excellent driver and expertly parked the Brambling Bus in spaces I never thought would hold it! Sara and Maciek were the perfect guides. They picked us up and dropped us off, they kept to a schedule but we never felt rushed, they recommended a wonderful place for lunch, and they stocked the bus with water and snacks (much appreciated on a hot day). We really enjoyed our time touring with them and at the end of the day we felt like we had toured Stirling with friends. We highly recommend The Brambling Bus to any one who wants to tour Scotland. We can't wait to go back and have Maciek and Sara show us more of their beautiful country!”
“Just to let you know about our wonderful trip to New orleans/ memphis / nashville. Highly recommended experience. The main aim was to visit Elvis Graceland but there are many additional options that were great to see such as elvis birthplace in tupelo, Tina Turner museum in Brownsville, sun Records at memphis, RCA studios in Nashville, a paddle steamer on the missisippi, and a tour of the swamps near New orleans plus many more. These trips vary. We packed a lot in but all worthwhile. Graceland was amazing and the exhibits totally over the top elvis style such as the motors and the jumpsuits. The Guesthouse at Graceland was an excellent hotel as were the other hotels included in the trip. The tour guide was excellent also and made sure your time was filled or you could arrange your own things. Nashville was wonderful to visit. Full of bars to enjoy music and the Country Hall of Fame. This trip is a great musical experience and we had a hoot of a time. Thank you Thorne Travel.”

“Don't know much for the cruises to be honest but the viewpoint is 10/10”
“Amy helped us select the perfect honeymoon destination. We would never have found such a beautiful little village without her. Her knowledge and helpful, laid back approach was great.”
“My King Charles Spaniel was groomed at #DOG today. I don't like his coat cut too short and spent a few minutes explaining how I like my wee dog to look. Jodie did a first rate job. His coat is silky soft, beautifully groomed the way I like him to look and he smells gorgeous as well. All in an excellent groom. Thank you.”
