βWonderful place, great for a walk whatever the weather! A lot of benches throughout which is great when the weather is nice.β
βAlways lovely fish and chips, come here often and people behind counter always super friendly!β
βUpon entering the store, AJ greeted me warmly. I told him I had seen a bed online, and he invited me to take a seat while he looked it up. He offered me a drink and clearly explained all the details. Although I originally came in for a bed, I ended up purchasing a mattress as well. He showed me the options without any pressure, and the service was excellent throughout. Dave, the store manager, was also very helpful. Iβm very happy with the service AJ provided, and I will definitely be returning again in the future.β
βLove my hair ! I had a haircut with Tia- she is so lovely and is really good at understanding what you want. She told me how to style my hair also and made sure I was happy with the result. The haircut included a shampoo and a blow-dry and either curl or straightening at the end which makes it so worth while and worth it. Completely recommend!β
βWest park cafe delivers everytime! I recommend the chorizo eggs or posh cheese on toast. Mine and my friends go too cafe - never disappoints! Staff are so friendly prices are super reasonable and coffee is great! Loss of homemade cakes and treats to take home too!!β
βThe iced Spanish latte is spot on! Smooth, creamy, with just the right hit of sweetness alongside the coffee kick. This coffee shop shop is definitely my go to when in Leedsβ
βReally good and well maintained park Offers boat hire , splash park and train ride Water refilling stations also available across the park Toilets available , lots of picnic spots too Parking is only Β£2.50 for the day, boat hire is Β£8 for family for 25min, train ride is 5 for a family of four There is also cafe that offers ice cream and all sorts of drinks Highly recommendβ
βSuch a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year, not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget, but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping, comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.β
βLovely park, dog had a great time, pond had iced over so nearly had a heart attack as he walked on it. Garden area, really nice walk. Didn't matter it was raining!β
βA beautiful park with lots of trails so walks can be varied. A fantastic place to walk dogs with secluded fields where dogs can be let off the leash for a run around without the worry of bothering other people. There are also ample bins around which people clearly use as the park was spotless. There's a small pond where a few families were fishing. There is also a fantastic bmx course and a huge off road mountain biking course suitable for all ages. It was so good to see so many people of all ages enjoying these facilities. Next to the bike courses is a nice and friendly, reasonably priced cafe.β
βJust got back from a wonderful trip to york, the market, and Christmas lights werea joy. The naburn lock caravan site was fabulous, great staff very very helpful ( special thanks to Kevin for all his help) The amenities so so good, first time I've not used our caravan shower so I could enjoy the large brand new shower suite ;) Love adult only quiet site, with large pitches. Will go again xxβ
βA lovely park with lots of interesting pathways. Great for dogs too. Super colours in autumn and the walkway would be awesome in summer as it is covered in Wisteriaβ
βExcellent park within easy reach of York. Has an excellent play park which my daughter loved. It's well kept here.β
βThis is a great park and outdoor space. A lovely 2 mile walk around the lake, looking for Room on the Broom characters. Good cafe and visitors centre too which has activities for kids inside. Well worth a visit. Β£2 parking for 4 hoursβ
βI went to Leeds festival at this park, and it was a nice experienceβ
βAs usual top class treatment from Acorn. Had lost most of enamel over the last few years on my front teeth. Had treatment with composite veneers and what a difference and they look so natural. Very pleasedβ
βLively park for dog walkers. Children. Family Picnics lively place yo chillβ
βWe had some free tickets to use so went twice in one day! Not much choice for an 11yr old to see so we saw 2 old movies (Hocus pocus and back to the future) I doubt we would have gone if we didn't have free tickets. Seats are comfortable and it wasn't busy.β
βI recently visited HFC on Roundhay Road and ordered the full grilled chickenβit was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and flavour-packed exterior. What really stood out was their special sauceβso tasty and unique, it took the meal to the next level.β
βHad the Armadillo experience, worth every penny. The keeper Ryan was very knowledgeable and passionate about animals, and the environment, learned a lot. The armadillos are soooo friendly!!! Spent the day the there, the animals are well looked after, great park, lovely friendly staff. If you visit now they have baby meerkats !!!!β
βLovely, clean place and cafe. The play area has few damages unfortunately. Long walk on the path which is accessible with prams and wheelchairs or walks through the woods.β
βWe came for my birthday and had a brilliant time! Ida and the Bookkeeper were fantastic and the rooms are so well themed and detailed. A really good range of puzzles ranging from relatively easy to challenging. Loved it and would definitely recommend !β
βAfter the horrible customer service at Screwfix I went to Toolstation and was extremely impressed with how good their customer service was I will be choosing Toolstation over Screwfix from now onβ
βstaff very helpful, I needed materials to create a sword for a convention this year. I didn't know a thing about what I needed and the staff were very informative!β
βLovely facilities, friendly faces on reception - Jo greets everyone with a smile and goes out of her way to help you. Great office space in a beautiful farmland setting.β
βMyself and a couple of friends went there for the first time, open mike night. Wow, it's so tastefully decorated, clean and modern, we felt very welcome, had a brilliant night. We'll definitely be going again, we've joined and became members to support the place although non members are welcome.β
βLovely area to walk around with secure dog area. Plenty of seating and good paths for wheelchairs or a buggy.β
βCouple of parking spots, which are free, on Lund Hill Lane, open all year round, great for walking, cycling, dog walks and families. No amenities here Now a country park located on the former site of Monkton Colliery, then Royston Drift, which closed in 1989, the transformation is remarkable It is now a home to an array of wildlife, with plenty of paths throughout the area Most paths are of loose stone, so may not be suitable for all abilities and wheelchair users Definitely worth visiting if you are in the areaβ
βNice for a walk and a good kids playground and a 2nd for toddlers. Could do with reintroducing the toilets under the restaurant and maybe lock up on a night. The funds made from the now payable parking could be used for this.β
βA fantastic afternoon spent walking around the grounds, the woods and the gardens before strolling around the Wildlife Park which has a great variety of animals in spacious enclosures. Rounded off with a visit to the House and taking in the history and artefacts of a very well maintained manor. Lovely!β
