“5* review from when I ordered on Just Eat on 25/03/24 - usually I have to be very careful ordering Mexican food due to allergies but took a chance on Monday and I couldn't fault a single part of the meal. We ordered the enchilada meal deal for 2, the enchiladas were amazing and had lots of filling and sauce, the nachos were filled with beef, cheese and sauce and the chips were piping hot still... Which you can't say a lot for takeaway places. I'm definitely going to order again from here and couldn't recommend it more.”

“We tried this place on Friday 2nd June, the food was absolutely delicious, I had the chicken burrito and it was really filling and probably the nicest one I have had, we also shared loaded fries with cheese and Mexican beef and potato bravado, these were also really nice, we we were served our food within 20 minutes and the waitress was attentive and really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, a hidden gem, they can’t serve alcohol but you can take your own and they provide the glasses. Honestly check it out, it was quiet that’s why I put 4 stars for atmosphere, but hopefully when word gets around they will get busier.”

“We’ve dined here several times now on our recent trips to Southport and we just love it. It’s a very small, intimate restaurant and the menu isn’t huge, but everything is always spot on and delicious. We always have our youngest daughter with us and the staff are just brilliant with her, catering to her any way they can; whether this be letting her order off menu, or making her her very own mocktail. I’d really recommend the Birria beef tacos and if you happen to visit on a themed night (we went for their Halloween one last year) definitively do the set menu; the amount of food you get for the money is amazing.”

“Been here a few times and food has been great every time. Really struggled to choose what to eat today as I was very hungry and everything sounded so good! Settled on a small plate of southern fried "chicken" bites and a mini dirty fries with vegan doner meat (£15 total). Staff were helpful in advising how big portions were. Both fridges were delicious, and generous portions. Surprised I managed to eat everything but there was quite a bit of salad on the dirty fries for which I was grateful, as it might have been a bit too heavy otherwise. I would definitely have both these items again. ☺️”

“Had a lovely time here during our short stay in Chester. There is a great selection of craft ales on tap and in bottles/cans. Plenty of seating on two levels and there is a live beer board. The Lady behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about the types of drinks available. Highly recommend this venue and would visit again !”

“We went last Sunday 10th March for Mother's Day. Food was fresh, tasty and wonderful as always. The roast lamb and beef dinners are outstanding. Service was impeccable.....friendly and professional with all food coming out piping hot. We visit here often as it's such a gem.”

“Cannot praise Casa Carlos enough. Right from being greeted by the lovely Sophia the atmosphere was second to none. Feeling relaxing, comfortable and at home it took me back to my many times abroad visiting tapas bars certainly could have been anywhere but Wigan Town centre. We were offered drinks then later ordered our food at no time did we feel rushed and our personal requests were taken into consideration with no fuss. Oh my days the food was delicious and presented so well and good portions compliments to Callum the chef perfection on a plate! Deserts were delicious almost too nice to eat as they were presented so well. As we wrapped up our dining experience we all agreed we would definately be returning . “Ordered here for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious, quite literally the best food I've had in quite some time. Delivery was quick food was still hot when it arrived, sauces came separately from the main so it wasn't soggy at all. 10/10, would recommend.”

“The Indian omelette is worth visiting this restaurant for. The interior is a vibe with a blend of Indian and chic colours, pictures and plants. The service is always extremely helpful and you're always greeted with a smile! Would recommend the green coriander chutney with the Indian omelette too, possibly one of my fave things to get here. The sweet breakfasts are also yummy with the ability to change my order easily (lactose allergy but I wanted to try a range of flavours) and the pancakes look great. I've had a range of things off the menu and would certainly take visitors with me when returning.”

“I recently visited Falafel Xpress and had the classic falafel wrap. It was delicious! The falafel was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the wrap was filled with fresh vegetables and a tasty pickles. I highly recommend trying the tahini sauce, as it is great with everything, especially chips. The shop itself was very clean and had a nice Arabian decor and music. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I had a great experience at Falafel Xpress and would definitely recommend it to others.”

“The BEST burrito ive ever had. They are just delicious. The wrap is super soft, the filling really tasty and not dry at all. I've been wanted to try here for over 2 years and each time my husband didn't fancy it (past burrito trauma) well last night we finally did and now? Major regrets we hadn't got it sooner. Great portions, great service and most importantly great taste. We will definitely be back.”

The live candle in the bathroom was an amazing touch for a pleasant and warm pooping experience, although i was a bit reluctant to pass gas too agressively due to possible explosion hazzard. 5/5”
