“Wonderful food and a wonderful experience, staff are friendly and ready to serve. Food was amazing and well worth the money which is reasonable priced and suited to any budget. A must visit for any occasion. Service with a smile. Atmosphere top notch. My only criticism is they have to many tables upstairs probably to maximise space. This is not a really issues if you like a more cozy environment.”

“Me and my partner went about the 29 or 30 of this month and it was amazing the food was flavourful and presented well I enjoyed everything and our waitress faith was amazing really nice and sweet always smiling and ready to help with what ever we needed. Would recommend”

“Popped into here with my friends who all had the App and got special offers which were amazing! I was told by Aaron that there are loads of offers through the app and I should sign up aswell! So I have and I've been back twice since! Best pulled pork burrito I've ever had, and my partner was recommended a mango jarrito by Chris and that went down a treat! Can't wait to come back!”

“A nice place for a family treat. Good selection of sweet as well as savoury pancakes. Staff are attentive and helpful. The woman who served us was happy and chirpy. The cafe is clean and bright. You can see the pancakes being made, right behind the counter, so you can have confidence in the cooking. I sampled a savoury pancake with cream cheese and smoked salmon, which came with a generous side of rocket. My son had a sweet pancake with Nutella, whipped cream, banana and chocolate sauce. We both enjoyed our food and couldn’t fault it.”

“A great stop in on our walking tour of Chester. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was unable to stop for food , but we certainly will fry the extensive pub menu. Restrooms were clean and tidy with all amenities. Well done team.”

“We've been coming here for 9 years and it's barely changed at all. Same delicious food, friendly service, moderate amount of upstairs sitting. It feels a bit on the pricier side if you order items individually, but well worth it as a combo.”

“Fast delivery. Correct order. Hot food and so lovely. Definitely will order from there again. My only small issue was that we had no cutlery. I understand about saving the planet, but we were staying in a hotel with no access to any cutlery and so had to eat with our fingers. I was fine with pizza but hubby had a meal. Ah well it was amazing anyhow!”

“Ordered a take away on just eat and the portions were so generous and at a good price. The food was tasty with one of the best side salads I've had from a take away. Just a shame there was no fridge in my hotel and I had to throw some out as there was way too much for one and it was so tasty.”

The first ‘Wandering Wednesday’ of the New Year… Took Hubby Neil and I to Cheshire Oaks, to one of our favourite eateries…. Chiquito’s….. we love this Mexican restaurant. Fresh food, cooked to order, full of flavours and colour! We both had a pot of tea, as this day is so cold with the snow and freezing fog…. Starters: we both had the same: a double stack of tortillas, layered with garlic butter, parsley with mozzarella and oven baked….. thin and crispy, a perfect base…. A simple dish but sooooo tasty. Entrée’s: Neil had a tinga chicken and beef chilli Burrito filled with rice, black beans, salsa, mozzarella, quac, jalapeño cheese sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla, with added volcano sauce to spice it up, the dish was dressed with a side of homemade nachos with sour cream to dip…. Neil also added a side of spicy fries. I had tinga chicken with beef chilli Enchiladas, filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, black beans, baked in the oven with rich tomato sauce, mixed with volcano sauce for that extra little kick and melted mozzarella over the top, with red pickled onions and sour cream…… A side of loaded crisp seasoned fries with chicken, chorizo and melted mozzarella….. All the dishes were perfect, our server today was a lovely lady who has served us previously, Amanda was professional, very courteous and attentive, a total credit to this establishment, many thanks for making our lunch perfect. Also massive complements to the chefs for their beautifully presented, culinary delights! Will we be back? Really! No need to ask!! 100% yes! 13 November 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to Chiquito’s at Cheshire Oaks. Starters: Neil had a double tortilla, oven baked layered with melted cheese, garlic butter, parsley and finely chopped red chilli on top, lovely and crisp with no soggy bottom! I had Quesadilla Birria with melted mozzarella cheese, fried onion and shredded beef….. served with a gravy jus. Entrée’s: Neil had Burrito filled with rice, refried beans, salsa, mozzarella, guacamole, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken, beef chilli and hot sauce all wrapped up in a large tortilla, the oven baked, accompanied with homemade tortilla chips and sour cream…..and a side dish of spiced fries. I had Enchiladas, tortillas filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken and Barbacoa beef, baked in tomato sauce, smothered with Monterey Jack cheese, then finished off with sour cream and pink onions. A side dish of loaded nachos, jalapeño peppers, onions, melted mozzarella, sour cream, jalapeño cheese sauce, guacamole and salsa, with chicken and chorizo, tray baked so it all infused! Washed down with a pot of tea each, warmed us cockles as it was a very cold day. Our server was a lovely lady called Amanda, excellent service with a beautiful smile, very polite and attentive, totally professional, a credit to this restaurant, thank you, also many thanks to the chefs, your food was delicious, again thank you. The restaurants all around the ‘Coliseum’ at Cheshire Oaks look very tired and washed out from the outside but we can reassure you that Chiquito’s on the inside is gleaming, very clean, surrounded with very colourful, Mexican shades in the decor, truly beautiful inside and the food is OUTSTANDING, as always…… Will we go back? Most DEFINITELY!!!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Nando's Bromborough and had a great experience overall. I ordered the 10 chicken wings, and they were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I also tried the Portuguese tomato salad for the first time, and it was a pleasant surprise, very fresh and tasty. However, I did notice that some of the usual Nando's sauces were missing, especially the extra hot and the lemon & herb sauces, which are my favorites. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere was a bit noisier than I would have liked this time around. Despite that, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be visiting again!”

“Only ate here for first time got it as a takeaway. was at Wigan Station for a hour due to train cancellation and came to find somewhere to grab some dinner. Glad the train cancelled now as found this lovely takeaway and the egg fried rice was how fried rice should be brown. Curry full of flavour next time I'm changing trains at Wigan I will be popping back in. The lady who served me was very friendly.”

“I have ordered from Sabroso many times over the years and the food just gets better & better. I usually have it delivered in St Helens but we had it delivered to Wigan tonight and the food was still excellent and piping hot! The chicken tinga burrito was large and worth the price, the salad on the tacos was very fresh and I liked how the chicken for the taco was in its own pot so less mess. I queried through the instagram page and the customer service was excellent, highly recommended!”

“I ordered The Hotbox from Hotbox, and honestly, it was a solid choice. For £25, you get a double smash burger, hot honey tenders, crispy chilli beef, and bacon fries. The smash burger was spot-on, juicy, full of flavor, and exactly how a smash burger should be. The hot honey tenders surprised me; crispy on the outside, tender inside, and that sweet heat just worked. The crispy chilli beef was probably my favorite, loads of flavor, nice crunch, just really good. The bacon fries were a nice touch too, fresh, hot, and just the right amount of indulgent. Everything turned up hot, fresh, and ready to demolish. No complaints, just good food.”

Sadly we called in on a Wednesday evening which coincided with Bert's Bingo which was good fun with people running all round the pub but it was too loud...too early and not good when people are still dining...but I will say if I wasn't dining I would have probably enjoyed it....maybe next time Bert's Bingo may be a drinks night and dining will be on another day as the food was lovely.”

“This is possibly the best pizza place on Rice Lane and locally. I bought a large Italian pizza, with jalapeno added for free. Very good. My mouth is tingly but not burning. And I also ordered a large garlic bread. They gave me a free small garlic bread with cheese! It is all more delicious than any other local pizza place. If you visit, please say Salaam. The people working there are Persian, from Iran. Their culture goes back over six thousand years. Salaam, haal-e shoma chetore? - Hello, how are you? I recommend this place with great respect.”
