The delivery guy has always been friendly and there’s only been one time it took longer than it stated (this was a Saturday) so I completely understand as it’s a very busy day, the food was still hot and tasty so we did not care. “Had a great experience at Ashton Fish Bar! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious – the batter was light and crispy, and the fish was fresh and flaky inside. Chips were golden and perfectly cooked too. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and freshness of the food. We noticed some of the lower reviews mentioning cold food or issues with delivery, but that definitely wasn’t our experience. We ordered in person and everything was piping hot and clearly just cooked. Sometimes delivery can vary, but for us the food was top-notch. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming – even gave us a sausage for our dog who was waiting in the car with us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Small things like that make a big difference and show they really care about their customers. Highly recommend stopping by in person if you want a proper, fresh fish and chips meal. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Stopped off here for tea Thu when raining. Service great and the food. Got a free pizza with first order. Had a combo. 4 chicken 4 wings, fries and drink 8 quid !!! Excellent.”

“As I am not up to date with tech I find it quite difficult using new kiosks however the crew here are lovely especially Siobhan as she came over and helped me navigate the kiosk system and put through my order with no hesitation. Lovely team members as well. Would recommend for a good service and food.”

“Cashless in-store I'm afraid However... The cheesy garlic bread and the pizzas are divine - top tier for this type of pizza joint. I think the difference is ingredients, they use real cheese and decent sauce. So for the price you're paying it's amazing”

“Decent, reasonably priced food. 1/2 Pound Zinger burger is my go-to burger from here (with plenty of mayonnaise!). The kebabs are also excellent and pefect when feeling hungover ha ha!”

“I have had the cheesy chips and curry sauce from here many times after a drunken night out and loved it but was hesitant to try sober as i didnt know if my love for this place was the drink talking. Today i tried the cheesy chips any curry sauce sober for thr first time and it did not disappoint! I can wholeheartedly state that Go Fresco is the best place in chester to order this type of food drunk or sober!”
