“I have never written a google review before. However, I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional service received by all the staff at Goddard Veterinary in New Addington. This is the first kitten I have had as an adult, and I wanted to give her the best start in life, so I visited 2 vets in my location. I could not believe how I was totally ignored at the first vet I visited. I thought if they could ignore a human, then I didn't know what they would do to my kitten. So I then visited Goddard Veterinary and was so happy how Marie spoke to me and explained everything to me. First impressions really do count! Since then, I registered my kitten, and she has attended there and is now an adult cat. She has been looked after so well. I would like to say a very big thank you to Marie, Liz, Helen, and Paulo for all their hard work and how kind, caring, and professional they have all been. I chose to write this review 22 months after having my first visit in order to give a true perspective of the service I have received so far. I would not hesitate for anyone to choose this vet to look after their pets.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Waggin’ Tails Veterinary Clinic! My dog, a big, lovable bear, has been a patient here for roughly four years, and the care he’s received has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we walk through the door, we’re greeted with warmth and genuine kindness. Nora and her assistant Claire are nothing short of exceptional. They’ve always gone above and beyond to make both me and my dog feel completely at ease. Whether it’s a routine check-up, advice on care, or addressing any health concerns, their professionalism, knowledge, and compassion shine through every time. Nora has an incredible ability to connect with animals, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. Her attention to detail and thorough explanations always leave me feeling confident that my dog is in the best hands. And Claire, what a gem! Her friendly and inviting nature makes every visit a pleasure. Over the years, Waggin’ Tails has become more than just a vet clinic, it feels like family. “I have just changed my dog’s vets to ivy lodge. Amazing staff. My dog is extremely nervous and often fear aggressive. They took time in getting to know her and made her so comfortable to the point she was even wagging her tail. We have had numerous issues with her and her first visit feels like we got further than any other place we have been too! Couldn’t find a fault at all”

“Great experience with our cat. Very fire dry and welcoming, they know how to make Arthur feel welcome! We've Interacted with Catherine the most at reception and she's a delight, everyone else has also been lovely too! They explain things clearly as well so you know what is happening. The first time we visited it was to get Arthur chipped, there was an issue with the machine (things happen) but instead of just fobbing us off and making us come back another day, as they could have: one of the team went down to the selsdon branch to pick up the necessary wire - whilst yes we had a little wait it was way better than having to go home and get our kitten into his carrier another day!”

“I cannot thank the team enough for looking after my elderly and reactive rescue dog. We normally see Ianthi who is the head vet. She is an excellent vet who treats our rather difficult (and enormous) dog with patience and kindess. She has even managed to get him to walk voluntarily onto the weighing scales and even walk into a treatment room. Also, we purchase a copy of our prescriptions and buy the medication online - and it’s always allows us to use it twice which saves us paying for a new prescription every time Furthermore, when our elderly cat was diagnosed with cancer we requested an animal oncologist, and they issued our referral on the same day, they also reviewed him every Saturday until it was time to say goodbye.”

Vet Lilia was absolutely amazing, kept us updated during his stay (detailed phone calls), the care, advise (and opinion), follow up call to explain test results and treatment action plan going forward even though ESVC isn't our registered vet. “Just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone at the practice, the vets, nurses, receptionist for their care of Beau , our pug puppy. We had the traumatic experience of having to remove his eye and the after - care of this and the care of his second eye which ,due to the upmost care,knowledge and professionalism of the vets, is now healed. Cannot recommend this practice enough for the empathy along with the specialist knowledge of all staff in this practice ; applaud we must ! We are all truly thankful,. “We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“I took my dog in today to see nurse Abbie due to a lump that appeared on my dogs leg. Abbie was extremely kind, attentive and thorough. I was worried about whether the lump was benign or not and she kindly took my dog to the vet who pricked the lump and was able to confirm that it was a cyst. Everything she explained to me was clear and it really felt like she took the time help.”

“Best vets hands down. They love their animals so much and it really makes that difference. Pricing is very good too. Only thing receptionist was not very friendly when I paid my bill in cash. She seemed to be annoyed by this fact but the vets there are lovely and I would recommend to anyone”

“I visited the practice for the first time and I was very worried. One of my dogs is very anxious with vets because a vet scarred her. I am giving 5 stars happily. It is very clean.The. lady from Reception,Marie,was very helpful and answered all my questions. And the doctor, Miguel, was very nice,explaining everything. “Used to use the Boots in The Whitgift. Which was a nightmare. I'd get texts telling me to pick up a prescription, arrive and get told "nothing for you", then another text. Rant over. Allcorn's is a totally different proposition. They rely on the locals. They are responsive. Never had a problem with them. Hence the five stars. So support a local business rather than an exercise in Private Equity.”
