“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

“The experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

“This was our first time staying at the Edwardian Manchester, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back!”

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“Perfect location for T2 … across the road, 2 minute walk and within a short 5 minute journey on the free shuttle bus to the excellent drop and go parking service A special mention to Lauren part of the Holiday Inn reception team who was very efficient, friendly and provided a first class service! A credit to the “HI Man Airport” team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms … have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra £30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress … thanks Holiday Inn!”

From arrival to departure, everything was handled smoothly and with a genuine smile. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with rooms that are tidy, comfortable, and hygienic. “We stayed at Native Manchester for one night and I would definitely stay here again. For the price, it felt like excellent value compared to other options in the area, especially considering the size of the studio and the quality of reviews. Communication was seamless, I received WhatsApp updates throughout my journey, from details about the room number and PIN code to notifications that the room was ready and a reminder for check-out. The process was essentially self-service, though there is a reception available if needed. I found the whole system very streamlined and convenient. We parked at Dale Street car park, which cost around £20 for 24 hours, and from there it was just a short walk to the hotel. The building itself is really impressive, it used to be a cotton factory, and they’ve done a great job blending the original industrial character with modern design. We booked a studio apartment, which came with a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom had towels and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel), while the kitchen had all the day-to-day essentials, plus tea, coffee, and even a small bottle of milk in the fridge. There was also an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in the room. The bed was very comfortable, big, and overall, the space felt well thought out and homely. One small piece of feedback from my partner is that a larger mirror, or a mirror in better lighting, would have been useful for doing hair and makeup. As well, it would have been useful if there was some tissues, like kitchen roll etc. All in all, the studio had everything we needed, the atmosphere was great, and I would happily recommend Native Manchester to anyone visiting the city.”

“We booked this hotel for Billy Eilish concert. When we booked ourselves in they told us that they were giving us a free upgrade to their best room. Well the room was amazing. It had a dressing room area, dining and kitchen area and a stunning shower room. There was also a spiral staircase. At the top was a table for two with fantastic views of the city. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, hob, fridge and a dishwasher. There was also a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, a safe and somewhere to hang your clothes. There was a complimentary bottle of water and crisps popcorn. Basically the room had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and friendly and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Roomzzz you were amazing x”

We really appreciate that they allowed to bring in our own party food. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the party and had great fun cheering and booing together in the movie climax. We would highly recommend a private screen hire to celebrate kids birthday.”

The atmosphere inside was vibrant and welcoming. The acoustics were excellent, and the staff were friendly and well-organized, ensuring a smooth entry and interval experience. The show I attended was brilliantly produced — a true reflection of Manchester’s rich performing arts scene. Visitor Tips: Book tickets in advance through the ATG Tickets website for the best seats. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. How to Reach: The Opera House is located on Quay Street, Manchester M3 3HP, near Deansgate. It’s easily accessible by tram (St. Peter’s Square or Deansgate-Castlefield stops), bus, or a 10-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station. “I recently booked a holiday with Trailfinders through Sam Henderson, who pulled together a superb itinerary for my wife and me. We spent 5 nights at Hurawalhi Island Resort in the Maldives, 5 nights at the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok, and 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak, Phuket. Each centre was exactly what we needed in terms of quality, location, and value. Sam understood what we wanted from the trip, starting with something extra special in the Maldives in an overwater villa, moving into the bustle of Bangkok with comfort and convenience, and finishing with a relaxing beachfront stay in Thailand. He balanced price and quality well, and nothing felt over the top or under-delivered. The Trailfinders app was also a real bonus. It had everything in one place,flight details, transfers, hotel information, but also extras and handy notes. It was much easier than juggling bits of paper or trying to find email attachments on the go. What impressed me most was the smoothness of all the connections between centres with transfers from airports to hotels, the seaplane to Hurawalhi, and even the shuttle in Phuket were all seamless. “We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”

The performance was world-class, from the costumes and stage design to the music, everything was magical and immersive. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience felt smooth and well-organised. Truly one of those shows that stays with you long after the curtain falls.
