βMy mate and I decided to go for a pub lunch and he suggested Rochdale plus more importantly The Flying Horse. He drove as he rarely drinks and the weather was classic North West rain. However, the pub was warm and welcoming so we sat at a table next to the cosy open fire. While we there the fire was topped up with firewood on a regular basis, by a member of staff. I had a pint of Ossett White Rat beer and my mate had a pint of lemonade. We were served promptly by attentive pleasant staff. As I am a member of CAMRA , I showed my card and the beer price already reasonably price, was further discounted. See the picture of the large selection of hand pull beers and prices. We both decided to have a Lancashire classic: βRag puddingβwith proper chips, mushy peas and gravy. Normally Β£8.75 but two meals for Β£14! Another bargain! I had a second pint of beer, then we had a desert that was generous in size, served by a friendly young woman. On finishing our dinner it was time to go out into cold outside. Used the toilets that were clean as expected. I can thoroughly recommend this pub / restaurantβ
βBeen to 3 stores very very helpful staff chatted avising me re ps4..ended up with Ps4pro not had chance to play today but Customer experience at all the outlets where I purchased Denton, OUTSTANDING..β
βI love this hotel β it's always an experience to stay there! I love the gothic aesthetic, the design of the rooms, and the creative attention to detail in every corner. The atmosphere feels both luxurious and mysterious, and the staff are always welcoming and professional. Every stay feels unique β itβs the perfect blend of comfort, character, and charm. The breakfast in bed was a whole new experience β beautifully presented, delicious, and thoughtfully arranged. From the perfectly brewed coffee to the warm pastries and fresh fruit, everything felt indulgent and elegant. It made the morning feel extra special, like a scene from a classic film. bssss, Batman was there !!β
βMe and my husband stayed here and booked the cinema room to view our wedding photos! WOW a memory I will never forget! Georgia was so helpful for me to plan this surprise and made our stay one to remember! The room was beautiful with music on arrival, the private cinema screening was hosted by Olivia (she is a true gem) made our evening for sure! Very friendly and attentive! Memory I will cherish forever! Followed by a lovely interaction with Gloria as we were checking out! Great hotel, great amenities and overall Great Experience!β
βI recently stayed at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service throughout my stay was excellent β staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. What really makes this hotel stand out is its beautiful building and rich history. Housed in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the architecture and design carry a timeless charm. The interiors blend classic character with modern luxury perfectly β the high ceilings, ornate details, and stylish dΓ©cor keep the historic essence alive while still feeling contemporary and inviting. Overall, itβs a perfect mix of history, comfort, and elegance right in the heart of Manchester. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable stay with a touch of heritage.β
βMy Visit to the Opera House Manchester My visit to the Opera House Manchester was an unforgettable cultural experience. This historic theatre, opened in 1912, is one of Manchesterβs most elegant and iconic performance venues. With its beautifully restored Edwardian architecture, plush seating, and grand interior, it offers the perfect setting for musicals, concerts, ballets, and drama performances. The atmosphere inside was vibrant and welcoming. The acoustics were excellent, and the staff were friendly and well-organized, ensuring a smooth entry and interval experience. The show I attended was brilliantly produced β a true reflection of Manchesterβs rich performing arts scene. Visitor Tips: Book tickets in advance through the ATG Tickets website for the best seats. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. How to Reach: The Opera House is located on Quay Street, Manchester M3 3HP, near Deansgate. Itβs easily accessible by tram (St. Peterβs Square or Deansgate-Castlefield stops), bus, or a 10-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station. There are also several parking options nearby, including Spinningfields Car Park. A visit to the Opera House is a must for anyone who loves theatre, music, and Manchesterβs timeless charm β a perfect evening of culture and entertainment.β
βStaying at Mercure Manchester Piccadilly was a fantastic experience! Raj, Kostia, and Ellie at the front desk were truly outstandingβwelcoming, attentive, and incredibly efficient. From arrival to departure, everything was handled smoothly and with a genuine smile. The reception team made every interaction pleasant and easy, always ready with helpful information and quick solutions. The hotel itself is spacious, clean, and very well looked after, with rooms that are tidy, comfortable, and hygienic. Overall, a wonderful stay made even better by the professionalism and warmth of the front desk team! thisβ
βSuper hotel, rooms and super clean and modern and well kitted out. Perfect location. Amazing value. All of the staff were great. Had a quirky feel to the reception area which was nice.β
βThe experience was excellent. The room was a bit smaller but all the amenities and services were there for a much comfortable stay. As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.β
βThis was our first time staying at the Edwardian Manchester, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldnβt be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back!β
βShould've known that writing a review 2 days into a 4 day trip, would've come back to bite me on the back side. We stayed Monday to Thursday in November and on the Wednesday, someone knocked and entered my room without consent or without telling me who they were or why they were coming in. After I had shouted at them to get out they shut the door and walked back out of my accessible room. I got to the door and asked them what they wanted, they said they needed to fit something, never told me what though. Then proceeded to ask if I was going out that day to which I replied, im not sure. We proceeded to go out about an hour later and when we have come back the very thing that was broken, non emergency, was fixed. Again no one asked me to enter. No one asked for consent to enter the room id paid Β£677 for 3 nights. This is not deemed as an emergency because if it was, you have the right to tell me that and ask for my consent to enter. None of this was done. Id went down to reception who agreed it was out of line. I could've been in a wheelchair, In the shower, deaf, naked, anything, none of which was taken into account account. I was told there was no management there at the time and that I should leave me email for a manager to be in contact. That didn't happen for some days so I took to the IHG app which was also useless because a member of management - James- at the Holiday Inn Manchester told me that they dont correspond with one another so whatever they'd offered me in compensation has nothing at all to do with what theyre willing to do, which is nothing. Id suggest if you have any accessible needs, you do NOT book her as if there is any issues, they fail to deal with them, ignore emails and won't accept or compensate for this mistakes Ive left my initial review there so you can see the stark difference between the two in literally 12hrs Fantastic experience at the holiday inn. I brought my client as we were going to look at canal street etc. I had requested that the bed was made up as 2 singles and it wasnt but they quickly got me another bed and made it up for me. We had I think whats called an accessible room, and the room was stunning. Had all the plug sockets you could need along side usb charging ports. Plenty of lights along side a uv light in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy and the rooms were warm. They also had a bath along side a shower. Breakfast was amazingβ
βStayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didnβt get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. Iβve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, Iβd be happy to stay again.β
βA huge thank you to Dianne at the Hilton restaurant. During our family visit with our 10-year-old son, she provided absolutely outstanding service. She was attentive, incredibly kind, and went out of her way to make our son feel welcome. Her positive attitude and professionalism made our dining experience a highlight. She embodies the excellence Hilton is known for!β
βPerfect location for T2 β¦ across the road, 2 minute walk and within a short 5 minute journey on the free shuttle bus to the excellent drop and go parking service A special mention to Lauren part of the Holiday Inn reception team who was very efficient, friendly and provided a first class service! A credit to the βHI Man Airportβ team !!! Hotel spotless, modern and well stocked rooms β¦ have stayed next door at Ibis (which is also a great hotel!) but for an extra Β£30 on this stay brekkie was included. They also have a happy hour on selected drinks and discount on food A great place to relax night before travels without the early morning stress β¦ thanks Holiday Inn!β
βJay and Marija were fantastic from the check in to check out. When I needed to book a taxi or required assistance they were both there. Very quick to attend to my needs. Jay was spot on and delivered exceptional customer service. Thank you Jay, hope you have a lovely Christmas and a new year. Same to Marija.β
βReally nice hotel - well kept - lots of fun football details everywhere. Location is brilliant if you are a Manchester United fan. On Match Day it is quiet expensive but if you come on other days, you are able to find reasonable prices. We will come again!β
βWe had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Marriott AC Hotel. The food was fresh and well presented, but what made it truly special was the service. Siraj and Meesha were both outstanding β friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. They made sure we had everything we needed and added such a warm touch to the morning. Their hospitality really stood out and made our visit memorable.β
βI spent a lovely 3 nights here whilst I was in Manchester for a school reunion. The hotel is in a good location and close to the station with direct trains to Manchester airport. The room was excellent with plenty of space and a great view. It was very clean and well serviced every day. A bonus was the fridge and selection of drinks. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. I would like to give a big thank you to the guys in the bar, Cameron, Lennox and Eden for making the most amazing cocktails and for being very hospitable hosts. In fact all the restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the cold plates for the cooked breakfast, but the great coffee and pastries did make up for it.β
βWe booked this hotel for Billy Eilish concert. When we booked ourselves in they told us that they were giving us a free upgrade to their best room. Well the room was amazing. It had a dressing room area, dining and kitchen area and a stunning shower room. There was also a spiral staircase. At the top was a table for two with fantastic views of the city. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, hob, fridge and a dishwasher. There was also a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board, a safe and somewhere to hang your clothes. There was a complimentary bottle of water and crisps popcorn. Basically the room had everything you could think of for a comfortable stay. The staff were lovely and friendly and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Roomzzz you were amazing xβ
βThe apartment was very clean, facilities were fantastic as was the whole hotel, the staff on reception were always cheerful and pleased to see you. Location was exactly what we wanted as we arrived by train, the city centre was five minutes away by foot.β
βI have been staying at Voco for three nights a week over the last few months with work, and it's one of the best hotel experiences I've had. What makes the place is the staff. All super friendly and all very helpful. Very clean rooms and a fantastic location.β
βNice, old-fashioned very traditional British pub with a cool back room where bands play. Friendly service and a good atmosphere, the back room is small so perfect for an intimate gig. Good selection of beers on at the bars including Robinson's Trooper which is a personal fave!β
βSuper welcoming local pub in Padfield. Excellent staff and beer. Coffees great as well. Looking forward to a meal there this evening!β
βOur recent stay at The Lowry was one of the best hotel experiences weβve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the reception team were warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, spacious and beautifully put together with thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. It had a real sense of luxury. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent food, attentive staff and so many options! We canβt wait to visit again in the future! Thank you!β
βReally enjoyed my stay β the room was nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, and offered everything I needed for a comfortable night. It felt welcoming and well cared for, and I had an undisturbed, peaceful sleep. Great value for money too. The food was another highlight. I ordered the gammon steak, which was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious β generous portion, nicely presented, and full of flavour. The overall atmosphere was warm and friendly, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Iβd happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.β
βAbsolutely amazing! So close to the train station which obviously is so nice We stayed in room 6. The room was lovely and clean, excellent variety in tea tray (oat milk option as well!) and still very spacious, especially for a budget option! Couldnβt have been more happy! Manager who gave us the keys was so friendly and nice. All in all amazing stay! Lovely to have the shower in the room as well (came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was all very good quality and smelt vvv nice) Couldnβt have asked for better! Even came with ear plugs but we had no issues with any noise :) thank you so much!β
βBest pub in Eccles. It's absolutely beautiful. Beer garden is decent enough as well. But the staff are brilliant and an easy place to pop in on your own and have a good hours chat with whoever is about. Stout always well servedβ
