“THE BEST LUXURY CATTERY! We were so incredibly happy with the level of care our kitten, Skylar, had during her stay with Jane. We went to view the various lodge rooms before we booked, and we were very suprised with the space of the lodges and the ammenities included (such as TV, an actual bed, catio, etc). The prices were amazing too, so we knew Skylar had to stay here instead of a standard cattery! She definitely took a few days to adjust being away from us for the first time, and Jane was excellent at helping her adjust. She put a pet remedy diffuser in the room & even gave her different food to try and encourage her to eat when she wasn't eating at all. I had complete trust in Jane to look after our fur baby so well, and I am so glad that we left our kitty in her care. We have found a cattery Skylar will be going to for life & have booked in again already for an even bigger room! Thank you so much for nothing being too much trouble, for making our Skylar feel so comfortable and loved, and for the regular pictures & updates, you are amazing!”

“Food was great: extensive menu and homemade desserts. Breakfast sandwiches used quality ingredients and you could really taste the difference. Room was clean with great WiFi and comfy bed. Location is great for accessing central Newark with complimentary parking which saves you. All in all a great experience, lovely family that run the place. Very hard to find somewhere like this these days!”

“Kelham house is out of this world and made our happily ever after so much more happily! The team at Kelham are nothing short of AMAZING! We are so grateful for all your kindness, welcoming and personal touches everyone had. You guys made us feel so comfortable and created such a perfect day for us. Nothing was too much or any pressure. They also created two ceremony venues for us, with the hope we could get married outside and luckily 2025 March weather held out for us. From the staff member handing me a tissue prior to walking down the aisle, to the check ins to see if everything is ok. “Stayed here a few times now and always found the rooms clean and warm with comfortable beds. As for the bar area, plenty of real ales with 3 on while we stayed. Food, was fab. Both breakfast and evening meal cooked to order. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Tip: If you fancy a pint in the evening getting back early, as sometimes they close if not busy.”

“I was sceptical about alot after reading other reviews. I have to say the bad reviews were wrong on this occasion. We stayed for my brother's wedding for two nights. Two adults and two kids. Room was big enough, had a big bed, single bed and a put me up. Lovley bathroom. Heating worked wonderfully, cold or hot. Breakfast was great. Sausages and bacon were definitely not cheap crap. Fresh eggs were continually bought out. The staff were so friendly. We had some trouble with our shower but a lady promptly came over and sorted it for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The bride was in a small room to get ready, we asked if we could use the bridal sweet for her to get dressed and have better photos and reception kindly agreed. Overall we had a great experience here and one definitely recommend”

“Almost every Vizsla owner will know the special needs of this breed,….and almost every Vizsla owner will have felt the familiar pangs of anxiety, when the realisation kicks in, that you need to find a temporary carer for them, whilst you have to go places your four legged family member cannot. I searched far and wide to find this person/people before finding Vizsla Boarding (Ardanaiseig Vizslas home boarding). A specialist luxury home from home boarding service. This is my honest review: Personally, finding a Boarding Home starts with a website. First impressions count. Vizsla Boarding Website is not only professional, but comprehensive and informative regarding the services offered, including official information such as licence status, this sets the scene and was just what I needed when seeking details to help me decided whether to trust or not! When contacting Lesa and Robert they are fully receptive for any questions you have in order to support you making an informed decision. For me however it was more than the information, it was about ‘a feel for the people’, and in chatting to Lesa and Robert on several occasions (and having stalked them for about 6 months previously on FB + INSTA lol) my decision was very easy indeed. They are 100% true Vizsla people. To say I was nervous on the big day, was an understatement. My boy Arthur is a large 2 year old, 32kg, intact male – but as goofy and as submissive as you could possibly imagine. However the handover (and later introduction to the pack) was secure, slow and measured for my boy. Updates were regularly given and gratefully received, (I got sent some super video footage, as well as fabulous pictures - I swear he was smiling on all of them which really eased my anxiety about how my boy was doing - see picture attached - guess which smiling Vizsla is Arthur!!) and with private land next to Sherwood Forest for exercise, this place is Vizsla paradise. But as we know Vizsla’s are not all about exercise and mental stimulation, they are about love, attention and real need to be ‘Velcro’d’ at your side. This need is not overlooked at Vizsla Boarding. Indeed it is clearly part of the package. My boy was welcomed as if he was part of the family. Both Lesa and Robert are hands on and very tactile (seriously, check out the website pictures!). They are experts at balancing the 0-100mph capability of this breed and they do so with the utmost care, attention, and affection. In sum, I drive just over 2 hours to get to Viszla Boarding - but I would drive so much further if I had to. Lesa and Robert are exceptional in their care of Vizslas, together with the home from home service offered. Arthur had an absolute blast which was such a positive experience for him, he made new friends and we truly look forward to our next stay as there is no one I would trust more with my boy.”

“Little Lane is a fantastic place that really cares for my dog each week - the owners are incredibly friendly and professional, they clearly understand all the dogs that they look after and take the time to ensure the dogs have positive interactions and experiences. Our dog Chewy felt welcome and settled in to the Little Lane family pack straight away - the staff give us great feedback at the end of his day, which is also insightful. He cries with excitement when we turn on to the driveway in the morning, and he usually doesn’t want to leave with me at the end of the day, much to my embarrassment!! It is good value for money, and excellent quality ear ruffles.”

“Mouse had a wonderful time with Vibs and her family. I felt comfortable that Vibs had got to know our dogs likes, dislikes, morning and evening routine and felt happy to be leaving her in such capable hands. Vibs sent regular pupdates with photos and will send as much or as little as you require, she was happy to adapt her routines to fit in with the dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her in Vibs capable hands next time we go away.”
