“I regularly go to this lovely independent cafe. It’s friendly, cool, has daily papers, good value and always very clean. I find it relaxing and definitely worth a visit. Today it was spotless, often toilets in some cafes are grubby but this sparkled. Maybe unimportant to you but shows a level of cleanliness!!!!! Anyway just an observation x”

“I am a member of Andy's Man Club, Gosport Branch, and each Thursday morning, we take the largest, longest table as a group, where we are free to chat, in a more, light hearted, relaxed atmosphere. We love this place, as we get great service, great coffee and have built a rapport with the lovely staff. They have a wonderful product and a great customer loyalty scheme, and whilst at times, we can appear chaotic, especialy when our group get rather loud and sometimes boisterous, nothing is too much trouble to the fabulous staff, who are happy, smiley and always very pleasant. This establishment means alot to our group and we really appreciate the kindness shown on EVERY visit. Thank you guys, we love you all..❤️❤️❤️”

“I don't often review places but i have decided to do so today as its very much needed. The staff in this tearoom put up with a lot from very rude customers, i watched an incident occur today as i was located in a booth next to it, where a young lady was being shouted at in her face by a rude obnoxious man because he had to queue, like everyone else! Imagine that, she handled the situation very well and remained calm even though she looked very shaken, its such a shame people can be so rude to hospitality staff. The coffee was delicious, the cake was amazing, the staff were very well trained and handled things amazing, its a shame customers can lack such manners, myself and my family will be returning, thank you from all of us!”

“Popped in late this afternoon for a break from the torrential rain. We each had a drink, enjoying a small decaff hazelnut latte and a small Americano. We were both pleased with our drinks. The Costa was very modern and clean. We both went to the toilet and these were very clean also. Recommended.”

“I had a 40 minutes wait until my train was due so I called in for coffee and cake. It was very busy but I had no problem finding a small table. Although it was busy when I arrived, it quietened down about 20 minutes later - that short time slot between lunch and afternoon coffee, so I was able to take a photo of the interior. The decor is lovely. I was a bit confused with the different coffee blends so the barista helpfully made a recommendation for me - my coffee was lovely and smooth. My chocolate tiramisu cake was delicious.”

“A quick visit to grab a morning coffee and something sweet. This is a small, but tidy Starbucks, mainly catering for the office complex located next door. Polite staff, tasty sweet treats and a freshly brewed coffee. Short term parking located close by too.”

The WiFi is much better than most coffee shops in the area so it's great for working on my laptop, plus there's plenty of plugs to charge while I'm here. Drinks are fab and staff are really friendly. Friends had raved about the boathouse but we were disappointed by the small selection of cakes , rolls and panini , BUT it was the best panini we had ever had AND we then on leaving we discovered we had gone into the Boathouse cafe not the linked Boathouse restaurant right next door. We will just have to revisit. :)”
