“After calling at Doncaster A&E and facing a waiting room crammed full and a waiting time of four hours or more I rang the Doncaster Same Day Heath Centre from home and was offered an appointment fours hours later. The place was spotless and the staff very helpful. The doctor I saw was also most helpful and placed an electronic prescription which I was able to pick up from my preferred pharmacy almost straight away. All this when over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend when my GP was shut for two and a half days. An excellent service.”

“Never had a problem at this chemist. Staff friendly and helpful. Dr prescribed an item that was not available in the size he had put so the chemist had it altered for my arrival. There is a nationwide shortage of certain medication so sometimes items are not available, which is not the fault of the chemist. Always get a tx saying our. Meds are ready. “I was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.”
