“This pet shop is a real gem in the Olivers Battery area. They are really well stocked with quality pet food, treats and everything else you might need. The staff go above and beyond to help make sure you get what's right for your pet. Some stuff is pricey but it's very good quality.”

“I first discovered Grovely Pets when my puppy's food was making him feel unwell and was advised he most likely had a grain allergy. They suggested a different food for him and it worked pretty much immediately! Have continued going ever since and every single time I've been met with such friendless and a wealth of knowledge - I would highly recommend! Their prices are very reasonable and its clear that everything is high quality, its nice knowing my pup is being fed the best. Thank you so much :)”

“We travelled from the North East on a recommendation of a relative to stay at this location as near to family, we were in Lodge 8 a 2 bedroomed lodge with a hot tub we originally booked to stay for 7days but were able to extend another 3 days as the location enabled us to spend time with family and visit various attractions. The Lodge was of a high standard a lovely welcome tray plus toiletries, towels and bedding were of a high quality a lovely interior with plenty of room the hot tub was checked every morning by a member of staff. My husband enjoyed the putting green.”

“Really nice store. Very helpful staff who were willing to actually check that the dog toothpaste was proper white paste and not these horrible new gels. I use an electric toothbrush on my old dog and only the white stuff is suitable, in my opinion.”

“Recently stayed here on a weekend in Winchester and would definitely recommend staying at the Wykeham Arms. All the staff were excellent and very happy to accomodate us when we asked to check in slightly early to make things easier for us. There is parking at the back of the pub, but it's best probably to get there when you can as despite our early check in we had the last spot available. The room was excellent and very comfortable to stay in with great amenities. A small complaint here, the TV in the bedroom of our stay did not support any streaming from apps or devices and did not seem to receive great signal. We'd hoped to unwind after a long day by streaming something but we had to settle for using a personal device instead. But this was only a small inconvenience and didn't disrupt our stay at all. The free guest wifi was also very welcome. Breakfast was very good with excellent options on the menu. The portion size of the full english did seem smaller than expected but nevertheless tasted very good. The best aspect of staying here was the location, a very short walk past the Cathedral into the city centre, we had plans there all day so this made it very easy to access where we wanted to be. Would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone else.”

“Excellent service. The out of hours service is expensive but luckily we are insured. The treatment Kit received was professional, caring and knowledgeable. We were kept up to date on her condition twice a day and as necessary. Couldn’t have asked for better care.”

The vet (sorry I cannot recall his name) who helped our Ronnie over the rainbow bridge was so quiet, calm & caring & gave us as much time as we needed. Ronnie's passing gave him the peace he deserved after fighting for so long & was very quiet & peaceful.”

“I’ve recently started my first fishtank and I brought it into the store. The staff were extremely helpful and were very knowledgeable on what I needed which made my experience so much easier. One staff member, Patrick, came with me to view the fish and products I was buying, and explained to me how they work and why I need them which I was very thankful for. Overall, the staff at this branch were lovely and the store was very clean. I would recommend this branch to everyone :)”

“Had a very comfortable two day stay at this small and centrally located hotel. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, and bathrooms well appointed. A good selection for breakfast with a semi buffet and a la carte dishes included. Lovely large courtyard at the back to sit outside during the summer months. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Elsa in particular at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful.”

“Boots has been going to Hairy Poppins for 2 years now, and I would not go anywhere else. It is the perfect one stop shop offering best practice in doggy daycare and expert grooming. I am often stopped and asked where I had my dog groomed, I always tell them. Tracy and Sam are wonderful with the dogs, and I am able to drop Boots at the door literally as he cant get through it fast enough! He is a very happy pooch, and loves both Sam, Tracy and Sarah. A wonderful Professional Team with expert skills qualifications and knowledge but who genuinely really care for our fur babies. Would highly recommend Hairy Poppins to anyone with high standards and high expectations and who want a happy healthy dog.”

“We have used Petpals for the last 5 years to go in and feed our cat Tinkerbell whenever we go on holiday. They are brilliant and we always come home to a happy kitty! They are very trustworthy and reliable and it is reassuring to know that there is someone popping by the house everyday just to keep an eye on things as well as our cat. They don't just feed her they also make time to have a cuddle and a play which is lovely! For anybody that has a cat that doesn't like going into a cattery we highly recommend this husband and wife duo as an alternative as it means your furbabies can stay at home where they feel comfortable. “Wonderful experience for our Chocolate Labrador, he looked like a large teddy bear when he came home as he was so fluffy and smelt wonderful. He clearly enjoyed being at your salon, but was nervous when he arrived as he had been so badly treated by another salon 6 months ago but he neednt have worried as you gave him lots of treats, love and special attention. He even managed to not be nervous of the hair drier!”

“If you need a great dog groomers this is the place. We have a very smart dog after Elaine worked her magic! Biggles is always happy to go to Happy Hounds to be groomed. Elaine is calm, smiley and it’s great there is only one dog at a time. Easy to get to and easy to park.”

“We took our little lovable friendly over sensitive Chi to the salon this morning to have his nails trimmed . We had been putting it off for so long as he had a bad experience at a vets who cut into the quick and has never forgotten it. What can I say but a huge thank you to all The L A team . We bit the bullet and booked him in fearing that we would be picking him up within 5 mins as he turns into the antichrist whenever anyone touches his feet . OMG I was met at reception by a lovely lady who proceeded to put me at ease and promised to at least have a go . Pop back in 10 mins she said . I left to pop up to charity shop nearby fearing the worst waiting for a phone call but no call came . I went back 10 mins later and there he was happy as Larry waiting for me in the window . !!!! Experience from start to finish was Excellent and even better they said he can come back again lol. Thank you again guys you are a fab team .”
