“Fun morning katakanu and canoe session with teens. Naomi and Joe were very helpful and wanted us to get the most out of our session, so they tailored it to us. Beautiful setting to sit and have an ice-cream after with picnic benches outside. We had a voucher from friends, and this experience would be an excellent experience present for a family.”
“We stopped here for a short walk, picnic and a read in really peaceful surroundings. There were a few people walking around with their dogs that were having a fab time (and swim) in the lake. Occasional trains passing by but otherwise very quiet and a lovely hour spent here.”
“45 acres of beautifully laid out park. Lovely nature walks, Historical buildings, children's park etc.”
“Wonderful, very clean area, well maintained paths, beautiful variety of plants, some of the walks could be sign posted better, there are some more accessible walks if you have mobility issues. Pleanty of different car parks, but bare in mind the car park you choose may vary the immediate accessibility of the walks so I'd advise you pick your carpark based on rhe walk you choose. Dog friendly just clean up after your pets. There are bins at key points throughout the park as well as park benches and picnick tables. This park is tended with the help of Park Hall Friends who help clean the area and maintain its splendid atmosphere.”
“Paul has to be the best host we have ever come across. So very helpful , friendly and understanding. The site is spotless.....the facilities are wonderful....we had a lovely stay here and will be going back really soon. We have marked this as one of our new regular go-to places. The only thing we would say , is be careful ordering from the smokehouse restaurant at the end of the lane...it's really expensive for what you get, but that obviously is nothing to do with Abdo hill campsite. Thanks Paul, your campsite is fantastic, we will be back very soon. 5⭐ from me and Charlie!”
“Good place for family day out, very good play ground, surprisely very clean”
“Excellent service from all staff. I felt listened to, and was treated with care and patience. Everything was explained clearly and staff were knowledgeable. Tremendously beneficial to my mobility and detailed exercises were given. Thank you so much!”
“Pleasant walk through woodland. Ideal walk with, or without dog.”
“Verdin Park is our local place. In last year there has been a new path put in and beautiful new playground for the children. I would probably say for children aged 1-7 years old. There is a skate boarding ramp there aswell. Great area for picnic and dog walking. You can get there easy from town or Castle or Winnington. Car park(payed) on the botton of the hill and some on road parking on neighbouring roads for free.”
“I Recently face painted an event here, parked in the potteries. It was a great community event and the park itself is good area with something for all the family.”
“Absolutely beautiful park, so scenic, and well thought out. 3 different kids play areas, and lovely views also. Kept so clean and lovely, thank you for providing this place. We took our dogs, but you have to keep them on the lead. This was fine for us.”
“Just love this park so much. Its a great jogging course but also, a great walk on any afternoon or early evening. You can feed the ducks if that's your thing. But other than that it's a lovely walk. You can even take a picnic...”
“Nice rooms and great staff, couldn't be more helpful. After moving the mother-in-law into her new flat, she couldn't stay that night. So we checked her into a this Premier Inn. The 2 ladies on reception, Rosie and Hannah couldn't have been more helpful! They were great with my mother-in-law and set her mind at ease. What great customer service.”
“Fantastic fun. The obstacle course itself is good, but maybe a little limited in the choice of obstacles. However, the inflatable area definitely makes up for it, with lots to do. Staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. The cafe has a good selection of food, which was tasty and reasonably priced.”
“Great site, we stayed for 1 night and can’t wait to return. Facilities were very clean and the music on Saturday afternoon created a great atmosphere. The camping field is very chilled. Thanks for having us and we look forward to our next stay already.”
“The staff at Shrewsbury are a real credit to an excellent fun place. They are so helpful and look as if they genuinely enjoy being with the children. There are plenty of staff spaced around, in case your child needs help or you need any advice. Definitely 5 stars to this place. The toilets are okay which is to be expected with children but the overall cleanliness is great.”
“Some beautiful easy walks around the Mid Cheshire countryside. You can access Carey park within a few hundred metres from Northwich town centre and take a myriad of routes, long or short, ranging from an easy stroll by the River Weaver or a bit further takes you to to Marbury country park, Anderton Boat lift or one of the many salt flashes now home to rare birds and wild life. Spend an hour or a day , and then back into town to enjoy a Coffee, your Choice.”
“Newport show as always brilliant family day well organised plenty of shade on a hot day very relaxing plenty for everyone”
“A hidden gem. Beautiful countryside with the most stunning bluebell wood I've ever seen. I didn't get very far as I have mobility issues but it was well worth the effort.”
“Great for dogs with varied terrain and scenery. If you want to get to the water I would suggest st dominics or north Road car parks.”
“Various park benches around the gardens, great for walks with family or just being alone. Football posts for friendly games. Easy access. Lots of squirrels and pigeons about.”
“Lovely park but a bit chilly today!”
“Fantastic day at adventure golf with my son during half term . Really enjoyed it. You can also do 36 hole's of putting Very polite staff excellent place .”
“There aren’t too many rides or things to do here in CBeebies land for kids under 90cm but this is one of the things that is available and it lasts a decent amount of time too. We were there on a Sunday during school holidays and queue was about 15minutes”
“This is far the best park we've taken our 3 year old grandson to , it's absolutely lovely & we can't fault it , so much to do. Can't wait to take him again & to add take a picnic along too ... Definitely be spending more time on our next visit . There is a swimming pool on site & roller skating also ... shame all parks are not to this standard .”
“Loved it wish I could have had a look around inside”
“A place where my boy overcomes his fears, exceeds his limits, we learn and play at the same time.”
“This is an excellent company to deal with.”
