“Sam was highly recommended by a friend. We had been reluctant to have our rescue dog groomed as she is very nervous. Sam was brilliant with her and very patient. Even better that she only has one dog at a time so it is a one to one groom. Amy looked amazing after her groom. We are sending our other dog to Sam for a groom in a few weeks and she will look fantastic too. Thank you Sam can’t recommend you highly enough”

I had two bedrooms, a hallway, and stairs cleaned, and the difference was like night and day—so much cleaner and fresher! “my two girls go here and the service is always excellent. we have a miniature long haired dachshund (Ailee) and a shepsky (Luna) (which is quite the size and coat difference) and they do an amazing job on both. they take amazing care of them, knowing Ailee has separation anxiety when without me but she showns no bad signs and loves the girls there! their coat difference also shows the amazing experience they have and I would trust no one else to look after my girls and always meet my expectations. if I could give 10 stars I would.”

“After a complete shambles of a hair cut. I took my cockapoo to doggy do's and the lovely ladies did my dog indie. Not only did they do an amazing job they. managed to get her in straight away as she still had lugs in her fur chewing gum stook in her paws and over grown nails. “Utterly brilliant, beautiful and wonderful place! Food was beyond great. I had the pancakes which came with so much bacon and Maple syrup. My fiance had a bacon and sausage sandwich with such thick bacon, fresh soft bread! Staff and even other customers are friendly, quick service and very good pricing! Shame we don't live closer so we could go regularly. But will definitely be in again and recommending to others Thanks for a lovely lunch :)”

“I stayed at Leaded Light Guest House on Match 5th 2025, travelling up from London. Helen was accommodating of me as a late arrival. Her sons were welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and my stay was quiet. I recommend Highly.”

“I've brought my rabbits here twice now for their annual check ups and vaccines and have had an amazing experience both times. The vets are extremely knowledgeable and helped put the buns at ease even when they were being fussy. Both times I have been advised of treatment or care advice with zero pressure to purchase them but all the information to make a decision myself. The woman at reception is also really lovely and welcome. Seriously can't fault them and wouldn't want to go anywhere else now.”

“A fantastic find, Cat operates in a lovely manner in a beautiful salon where your dog gets treated exclusively and not caged unlike other groomers we have used. My dog ( miniature schnauzer) always looks fantastic and Cat talks through the detail of what has been done in fine detail. A delight to deal with and wish I had found her before. Definitely the best dog groomers I have used.”

“My dog Dede has been under the oncology team from January 25 to November 25, we have had weekly chemotherapy appointments and a three night stay in the hospital ward. I want to add that my dog is very well behaved and I am very particular with how she is treated - The Willows have been nothing but professional and caring towards my little girl and I could not recomend this place more and I have never been concerned about her care. A big shout out to Furgus and Bryn and the wider oncology team, but also all of the really caring nurses who have made our experience a positive one - The day my dogs nasty lymphoma reurns we will he refering back to The Willows. Might I add we travel from Leicestershire for this amazing place!”

“Both vets and nurses and admins are very friendly. Took my rabbits here for joint dislocation treatment, GI stasis and serious wounds. They took the appointment very quickly and I'm glad I changed to this vet from another. The joint dislocation treatment went very well and my rabbit is now fully healed (The successful rate in general of this type of treatment is not high, and there were high risks of dislocate again). Being fully healed is totally out of expectation. He is happily jumping and running like nothing happened. You can see the love towards your animals from the vets' eyes. They are very passionate and listen to your concerns. They were willing to run extra tests just to make sure my rabbits are fine. All the risks, complications, how necessary (or not necessary) the meds/tests/treatments are, and costs were well explained. Highly recommend!”

“Was a 3 night emergency stay and although it's not the height of luxury, it was well maintained, bed was more than comfy and the host exceptionally polite and friendly. I'd happily go back the if needed to!”

“Fantastic little pub, staff are not only friendly and polite but good for a laugh, lovely warm welcome, food is very good even other pub users are happy and friendly. If you've ever watched the TV show "cheers" then this is the modern day equivalent, very good.”

“Had our wedding here on 23rd August, the staff were amazing! Especially Sara! The venue looked awesomely setup, the grounds outside were great with so much space for our guests. The staff worked very hard and we were made to feel very welcomed and had all the help in the world. Rooms were nice, clean and in peaceful surroundings. The breakfast is a must!!!! Thankyou to everyone at the venue for an amazing experience!”

“Dottie's is wonderful. My dog Bella has been going to them since she was a puppy and absolutely loves going. She runs up to Christine's front door and doesn't even look back. She stays with Christine when I go on holidays and I know she is safe and having the best time. Christine has helped turning my little puppy into a wonderful young dog. Who is social and friendly. Loving everyone. The best thing I ever did was going to Dottie's for day care and holiday cover. Thank you so much.”
