From the first moment we felt welcome and the place has a nice and calm atmosphere. We celebrated our anniversary there and both of us had the wagyu steak for our main course. You can choose from several different side orders. All to your choosing. The steak was perfectly prepared to our liking. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and service minded. Truly a place to recommend.”

“Went as a couple during a trip to Edinburgh. We booked via OpenTable, but on arrival, we weren't in the system :( The place was packed, but the lady at the front desk found us a table just over an hour after the original booking. I can highly recommend the bar next door's French 75 and Old Fashioneds to help pass the time :) I had a 950g porterhouse, medium, with a good charring. It was delicious. Pink and juicy, melt in the mouth stuff, with fat rendered so it dissolved in my mouth. I think my girlfriend enjoyed her food too, but I was too distracted with the beauty that was mine :D”

“Went 2/12/25 for another visit after almost 2 years and it was still very good. Lots of delicious beers and decent burgers and fries though so hungry I forgot a picture sorry! The place became very busy for a Wednesday with lots of groups and all you can eat wing night on Wednesdays as well. Enjoyed barley wine and stout and it was becoming pretty loud as it was really busy so left for hanging bat near by. Two sides for £7 was a nice value”

“What an Amazing job done from the staff at Steer Edinburgh, On my arrival Morgan greeted me and on picking the car up. It was Morgan that was at the desk, I looked at the car before heading in to get the keyfob and it was like the Subaru had never been in an RTA. It was professional throughout the whole procedure from start to finish, the end result was flawless. The Subaru is back to the showroom standard and I honestly can say that I would highly recommend Steer Automotive Group Edinburgh to anyone.”

“Great family visit and really lucky with the weather. The Pandas were impressive and the highlight but overall the whole place was very clean and tidy. The enclosures were very well maintained and also very clean. The only slight dissapointment was one particular member of staff who must have been having a bad day and was not particularly pleasant when we dare ask about what food was gluten free in the Jungle Restaurant but we worked it out and didn't ruin the day.”

“We absolutely loved the zoo! As someone with a disability who struggles with hills, the team gave me a very special lift to the top of the hill! We heard lots of facts about the penguins and other amazing animals! I can’t remember the staff members name but he had ginger hair!!! Our favourite animal at the zoo was the hippos, they were really really cute as well as the penguins! The giraffe viewing inside areas were amazing I must add! Overall a fabulous time, definitely recommend ❤️”

“We popped into Kwik Fit on the off chance that they might have a specific sized tool that we had been trying to find all day, and they kindly lent it to us, and quoted us for some all season tyres (which we also needed to sort). Gordon was very polite and helpful, and we were impressed by the customer service we received.”

“This was a Christmas present from my sister for my mum Thora and me . We booked it for the 10th of April. The atmosphere was good the music was a bit loud but still enjoyed are selves. The food was really nice we had vegetarian so we can recommend the vegetarian. The staff were absolutely brilliant.”

The architecture of the buildings is stunning, showcasing a rich history and vibrant atmosphere. We were fortunate to meet a friendly student who offered us an impromptu tour, which added a personal touch to our experience. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Edinburgh!”

“Upon arrival I was provided some interesting tasting popcorn. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection with delicious flavour. Extra thick cut chips crisp on the outside, buttery smooth on the inside. Crisp, fresh salad. I could not fault the service or the food. Thankyou”

“In what I can only describe as one of the most traumatic things I’ve been through, the full team were amazing. They took my dog out our arms as soon as we walked in there was no delay and the team updated us as soon as they could! I also received a call to update me on how she was doing and they let me call during the night for an update. Honestly the whole team were fantastic and my dog is recovering well.”

“I stayed in Dickens properties twice this year for 7 weeks in total. From the support with booking and payment, the high standard of maintenance, white goods, furnishings and decor of the flats and the communication regarding my deposit being returned (no issues with it being returned in full) I can recommend Dickens as reliable and upfront. Questions on the property after check in were answered quickly. Will definitely come back and stay either of the two flats I stayed in this year.”
