“Never a busy store. Always plenty of staff and stocked shelves. Discounts on a wide range of aftershaves, perfumes etc. Only thing is some days there is a wait on prescriptions but still quicker most local chemists.”

He was immensely helpful and patient, and despite the vague description that I gave him (I was feeling unwell and not used to buying from the men's dept) he managed to find exactly what I was looking for. He couldn't have been nicer and made what would have been an extremely stressful experience without him a stress free trip to M&S with Ayub at hand. He has encyclopaedic knowledge of the men's stock, in this case the trousers, and was just so amazing. If I'm shopping for men's items again, I will be heading straight to Ayub. His colleague at the checkout who sent me to Ayub was also brilliant but sadly I didn't get her name. Thank you so much!!!”

“A bit of a distance to travel (for me) but it was worth it. Went there with the whole family and it was amazing. Never seen so much history in one place, also never heard so many fantastic stories about them. Staff is so dedicated (some old pilots that used to fly some of those machines) as long as you're willing to listen, they will be happy to tell you every about it.”

“What a delight to shop here. Bright clean and well laid out store. Outside easy and well laid out parking, with disabled spaces nearby. One small moan, yet again a store that uses temporary aisle end bins to promote certain items. Here they are placed in the entry to some aisles with art craft and card making equipment. This unnecessary practice makes it very difficult for wheelchair customers. The store regains it’s star by having a beautiful coffee shop and with gluten free cake. Perfect.”

“A massive shout out to Neil at Argos in Darnley for providing his exceptional customer service the other day. I was trying to pick up 60inch TV with my toddler daughter myself (and pregnant) Neil noticed i was myself and didnt hesitate to help me get it in the car, which after trying everything, it didnt fit so he called a delivery driver who had just pulled in, who then followed me home in the van to deliver the TV. His dedication and willingness to help were far beyond what was expected and really helped me out that evening so thanks Neil! Appreciated it”

“They do lovely cheap clothes and underwear if you are having one of those I am skint, but need a new outfit for a party before I get paid moments. It's also open till 7pm, which comes in handy if you finish work at 5pm and have to get something before the weekend”

There were also 2 other staff (I didn't get their names) involved in the exchange and they quickly located the items I was looking for and arranged for the remainder of my order to be collected later in the week.
