βFirst visit to the Maldron or the group and was impressed by the experience. Staff were all first class, communicative and industrious with a pleasant demeanour. Quality of finishings was excellent, very comfortable bed and very clean room and public areas. Breakfast selection was as expected, was regularly refreshed and plenty available. Look forward to my next visit.β
βFabulous location! Right within 5-10 minute walking distance to shopping, theater, and tons of pubs and restaurants. One of my favorite things about this hotel is they have a couple of filtered water stations to fill up your bottles. Itβs a small thing with a huge and welcomed convenience while traveling. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.β
βWe got married here last Saturday and what a day it was. From start to finish the team at this hotel have been super attentive and helpful. A massive thanks to Sarah-Jayne and Louize for being with us every step of the wedding planning process. The general manager Adrian (AKA Hype Boss) is a credit to this venue! He was on the ball, super organised and able to make our wedding run the way we had dreamed it. Scott the guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the meal was. Thank you to all the staff at the Eglinton Arms hotel.β
βWe had a great stay here for two nights. Room was exceptional, food, equally. We ate here twice, one dinner and one breakfastβ¦both were excellent. The service from all staff was superb and a happy hour in the lobby (complimentary each day) was a great touch. We found it centrally located and would return again when in Glasgow.β
βHad a fantastic stay here! - Check in was really easy even when we were hit with a slight issue. It was sorted swiftly and easily with plenty of help! - All the staff we encountered and interacted with were kind, accommodating, friendly and really made me (a person with severe anxiety) feel at ease! - the living space was a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable, great place to chill if you donβt want to be confined to your room. - The rooms are small but all the space is utilised perfectly! Everything is controlled via the hotel iPad or the app on your phone which makes it feel so fun and exciting. - The bed was huge and unbelievably comfortable with spare pillows available in the drawer. My partner who sleeps terribly in hotels, slept like an absolute log. Iβve never known her to sleep so well away from home! - Breakfast was delicious, I was especially a fan of the scrambled egg. I can also vouch for the mochas - the perfect temperature and coffee to chocolate ratio. - everything was lovely and quiet, we even had construction going on outside our bedroom window and we didnβt hear a sound from them. What I will say is if you do plan to come here with someone else, make sure itβs someone your comfortable with because, while not crystal clear, the shower has frosted glass so you can see a relatively clear silhouette of whoever is showering. And the only negatives I can say is the water temperature was a little hard to manage at times but it wasnβt anything scandalous and one of the lifts wasnβt working which was completely fine but definitely slowed things down a smidge. But honestly none of these things negatively impacted my stay so I maintain my 5 stars. We will be back!β
βI stayed as a solo business traveller on the 22 - 24 October and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly the young staff were from the reception desk to the bar and restaurant. They went above and beyond to have a chat, hold my bags, direct me to bus stops. etc. They were genuinely warm and welcoming and made it feel like a four star experience. The bar and lounge area are very comfortable for a business traveller looking to do some work while having a drink or bite to eat. It's a cosy environment and the veggie burger was quite tasty and generous. While the rooms are a bit basic, the bathrooms are well maintained and the friendliness of the staff and downstairs bar area more than made up for that. I would definitely return again - thanks all.β
βMy daughter and I stayed here for my brothers wedding and from start to finish we were made to feel welcome! The room was brilliant, loads of space and a tv in the bathroom! Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the staff were very kind and attentive. The wedding was beautiful and everything was spot on! Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay :)β
βExcellent stay at this practical and well-located hotel. Directly across from the Kelvin Walkway and Botanical Gardens, the hotel is midway between student dorms and the UofG, making it the perfect location for visiting the university. The staff is warm and helpful. Rooms are clean and basic, with drawers for clothing. Provided toiletries are minimal, but thereβs plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Towels are surprisingly fluffy! Cons: rooms are not the most soundproofed, but the area is quiet, as is the hotel.β
βStunning setting for a wedding, staff so attentive, meal was good, breakfast was lovely. Drinks are reasonably priced, rooms are stunningβ
βCan't recommend Tay Letting enough! Cheryl Tait in particular has been such an incredible help during the whole process, from application through to key collection. I personally have rented in different cities the last 14 years and have honestly always dreaded the estate agency/new rental process but Tay Letting and Cheryl made it all super easy and it was so quick. Communication was thorough and frequent - thank you again for helping us secure our dream property!β
βMy wife and I took my mother for a meal at Dalziel Park Hotel. The venue looks great, it was dark, but inside is very nice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was brilliant. The only complaint was my wife and mother were given a fork to eat a sundae!! Desert spoons please Dalziel Park! That aside, well worth a visit.β
βIt's just a wee bit of a drive from West Lothian but it is certainly worth it. Its a great hospital everything about it is the best. The staff from start to finish are all amazing they can't do enough for you. Anyone that is having to go there I highly recommend it.β
βSuch a beautiful place. Staff were so accommodating, helpful and attentive. I arrived late, they carried our bags to the room and kept the bar open so we could have some drinks. Even booked us breakfast, which is cooked to perfection. (Good choice of continental also) The room is the biggest I've stayed in. It's clean, great facilities, beautiful views and the complimentary gifts are the icing on the cake. There was a wedding party staying the same night and I never heard a sound. Wish I was able to stay longer. *Google sends you down the wrong turn. It's the one after*β
βNo need to book in. Rooms clean and tidy and for what we were doing a great wee H.Q. I well recommend it for City Centre stays. Oh by the way the staff are brilliant and the breakfast was terrific ( we got there too late for a dinner).β
βA nice hotel it very clean and good service and nice food and drinks and good serviceβ
βFirst time in this bar, was welcomed with a friendly lady behind the bar ( Sharon). Has a lovely cosy feel about the place. Great selection of drinks behind the bar. Especially whiskey. Prices are cheaper than the other bar up the road. Even the locals welcomed us. Would definitely recommend .β
βA quiet and convenient location, really close to the subway into town centre and also next to the Kelvin river. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.β
βI cannot recommend Dog Days enough. We brought our very nervous puppy to Robin and the team two months ago. They were consistently patient and empathetic with her many (and sometimes confusing) anxieties. With their support, she is now growing into a confident, happy puppy with excellent doggy manners. I know I can trust that on her day care days she's safe and having fun, making those breaks from her unending energy a lot more enjoyable for me too!! If you're a bit nervous about trying day care, just pop in to meet the team and you'll be at ease in a moment.β
βHad a really good experience renting through A&S Properties, Glasgow. They were easy to deal with, quick to sort out any issues, and always friendly.β
βWe have had excellent tailored service from Trailfinders, starting with in-person discussion of our proposed trip to Laos and continuing throughout the holiday. We particularly appreciated the ability to use their expertise for travel arrangements and some accommodation, leaving us space for some of our own arrangements. The Viewtrail app was easy to use and when we wanted some advice while we were away we received it immediately from a real person via Whatsapp. We will definitely use them again.β
βHaving been let down by home boarding in the past Iβm so glad we found Anjo kennels - Angie & John are reliable which gives us peace of mind to book our holidays, and when we collect our boy he smells fresh and always settles straight back at home, even when weβve left him for 2 weeks. Weβve used Anjo kennels for two years and itβs always going to be our first choice!β
βWe haired 2 flats for a weekend. Excellent location and lovely flats. Lots of space and well kept.β
βOur Spaniel Finn recently spent 1 week here and had a great time. Well looked after by Dot and Billy. Was nice to see some Facebook posts on what all the dogs were getting up to as well! He came home super relaxed! Not only that, they shared some advice on dog food which they can provide and sell - which has went down a treat with Finn! Would highly reccomend!β
βIf I could give this dog hotel more than five stars I would. My wee cockapoo has been going there for daycare and for holiday overnights for nearly three years now. Joanna is devoted to her doggy residents, they get loads of loving care, attention and exercise. My cockapoo sees the dog hotel as her home from home and is buzzing with excitement every time we drive up there. (Photos of my dog were taken while she was at daycare last month).β
βFirst time using for our 18 month old dog. Such professionalism, great set up and looks like awesome care given when we went on holiday. Lexi was glad to see us on return, however, itβs clear she was well cared for while the family was on holiday. Canβt recommend enough. Thank you!β
βOnly been using Lynsay for a few weeks but she's been great, My pup comes in tired and well walked and he loves his time out having a run about with the other dogs, Would highly recommend Lynsay to anybodyβ
βExcelent and trust able service..highly recommended for safe and timely delivery..staff is also very coperative .must tryβ
βPerfect place which was close to the job we had. Everything we needed was there and the apartment is close to a range of different shopping options. The rooms are spacious and the beds are plenty big enough. The living room was great with a balcony and the seating is plenty. 10/10 would definitely recommend and stay againβ
βWiffy and I didn't stay in the rooms but as a family owned and in the main operated business, The Old School guest house is on the right track. Really friendly place and the breads cakes and food is all made on site, the pride in themselves is the unique selling point as its pride across the board. Just popped in for a toasties and a beer. We will be back in for a restaurant meal V,soon.β
βAways a good vibe. Lovely staff and decor. Good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is amazing with the main hot food order taken and served to your table (no hot food buffet). Lots of parking and electric car charging. Handy for motorway.β
