βJust home from my son`s wedding & want to leave a review while it`s still fresh in my mind, no point singling out our room, or hall or any part/place specifically, it`s all spotless! The staff I couldn`t fault at all, BUT, there`s one thing that that stood out for me, the food, from the first evening meal on arrival to the breakfast on the morning we left, excellent, I`ve never commented on mash potatos before! Delicious, I`d recommend the `Shin Of Beef` if you, like me, love meat, (more gravy next time please) I was thanked over & over by other guests after their experience in this hotel (It was my son`s choice because of location for the various guests but, hey ho, I accept compliments however they come) overall, a fantastic experience.β
βI recently stayed at the Moxy hotel and overall, I loved the room and the location! The design was modern and stylish, and I enjoyed the vibe. However, one thing that would make a big difference for longer-term stays is additional storage space. Unfortunately, my room was missing a cupboard, which made it tricky to organize my clothes. Hope this gets addressed, as I'd love to stay here again.β
βWe booked as we had a concert that evening and didnβt fancy battling the car park after ! It was reasonably priced ! Check in was a breeze ! Car park is behind the hotel who will validate your parking to reduce the cost by half. The room was just as needed ! Halls were clean and tidy very quiet despite it being a very busy hotel by the crowds downstairs having same idea we had ! Staff were friendly and helpfulβ¦ late check out of 12pm was amazing as didnβt need to rush to get out early after a late nightβ
βI stayed here for almost a week, and I have to say it was a great experience. It was my first time in Scotland, so I really wanted to make sure I had the best stay possible. The staff were absolutely THE BESTβvery friendly, very helpful, and the manager was even present when I checked in. My first impression was, βYou guys have the best team.β I would definitely recommend staying here. Itβs just minutes from the city centre and close to train stations, making it easy to get to Edinburgh or anywhere else in Scotland.β
βGreat location, if you have a flight early morning or coming late, very short walking distance from airport. Clean room with plenty space. Perfect service, very quick check in and out, and every good service with restaurant. I ready recommend, there is everything what is needed. And nice atmosphereβ
βOutstanding location close to everything. Stayed three nights, although it's was my 7th trip to Scotland it was my first stay here. Room was small but comfortable. Free laundry which is a rarity. Close to everything. Oh and a really nice gym!β
βWe came here for dinner after shopping. Food was very tasty and we got it really fast. The service was amazing! Especially the customer service that the waitress Molly provided was awesome! Thank you for wonderful service!β
βDidn't stay over but attended for a family event. Staff were all brilliant but special heads up to the chefs - Avril and Sean. Their food was amazing and they were so friendly too! Gillian from Newcastleβ
βThis place has been given a fantastic make over. Great service and very reasonable prices. I had the beef burger with haggis and my husband and friend had the chicken burger and the chicken fajitas, all very tasty and fresh. Β£6 for a strawberry daiquiri is roughly the same as Glasgow prices but they were delicious. Will definitely need to go back and fully recommend.β
βAttended a meeting in the reception area with colleagues today . From arrival at 9:00 till leaving at the end of the day Annemarie was a superstar. After 40+ years in Hotel Management she was the ideal person you wanted in the front of house. So friendly and welcoming, very attentive and kept checking on us from arrival coffee, breakfast and lunch. As we have just moved to new business premises in Bellshill this will be our go to Hotel.β
βThe room was very clean the owners of the hotel are helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the tea and coffee in the room. My husband and I were very satisfied. Although we did not have a car, we had no difficulty in our trips as it was very close to the train station. I recommend everyone to stay there. Thank you for everything and your face smiling.β
βStayed at the hotel for my daughterβs wedding on the 19th July. The breakfast was good and the location is excellent. I have to comment on the level of service from Gary on front of house. He is a consummate professional and incredibly helpful. I will definitely return in future. Thanks to all of the staff for helping to make my daughters day specialβ
βI have rented from Spectrum for many years now and couldn't be happier with the service I have received. They are always so quick to help.β
βHighly recommend this if you are studying at City of Glasgow College or if you are living far from home. The staff from the Hall of Residence do make you feel like you are home, they are always there when you do need something or advice. Even this hall of residence is 20 mins walk to the main campus and the other city of glasgow college campus is next door.β
βFlat (Belmont 1) was clean, well furnished and ideally located. The GCF staff were swift to respond to queries and rescheduled on the fly to let us in when we arrived at the property earlier than we expected. Would definitely use again next time we travel to Glasgow!β
βI recently moved from London to Glasgow, and I cannot express how grateful I am to Glasgow Property Letting for making the entire process so smooth! From the moment I reached out to them, their team was incredibly welcoming and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure that my transition was seamless, which is something I didnβt expect with such a big move. The staff were not only professional but also kind and attentive, always ready to answer my questions and offer assistance. I still canβt believe how easy they made the move for me. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free rental experience!β
βPretty great hostel for a good quiet night. Rooms are one bed each, allowing for more privacy and quiet than most hostels. Bathrooms are clean, kitchens are well stocked, internet is fast, and it's close to the center of Glasgow. Staff is very friendly. One downside is that it's a bit hard to meet people since there's no real communal room.β
βGreat stay, rooms spacious and clean. Martin checked us in quickly and efficiently, breakfast was delicious and I will definitely returnβ
βHad a lovely meal here with a large family group. Everyone agreed the food was excellent, my steak pie was very good. And the following day for a funeral afternoon tea. Beautifully done, tables perfect and food perfect. Staff were excellent. All in all pleased we chose the Fenwick Hotel! Several family members staying here also who were very complimentary.β
βBeautiful clean room with the most amazing bed! Tea and coffee provided with a kettle, TV, and luxurious towels. Free Wi-Fi too, which works very well. Fantastic staff, totally recommend.β
βNever stayed at the hotel but have been in for food a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their coffee and cake offer is good if you want a quick bite, afternoon tea was lovely and their main menu offers a fair bit of choice. Service has always been good, haven't waited too long for food. We do enjoy the craft fayres although would be good to see a bit more variety/more food stalls.β
βFamily run hotel, very relaxed vibes and welcoming. The food is real and hearty. The staff are warm and accommodating. The rooms are standard but very clean, dont expect modern but I believe that reflected in the price point. Beautiful venue for getting married. I got married here in 2013 and since then it has been updated with beautiful led dance floor and twinkly lights on the ceilings. Quite stunning. Highly recommend!β
βHad an excellent stay and wanted to give a big shout-out to the team, especially Stuart and Devlin. From the moment we arrived, Stuart was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time. He gave us brilliant recommendations for places to visit around Glasgow, and his knowledge of the cityβs history was honestly amazing. We ended up exploring a few spots he mentioned and loved themβit really added something special to the trip. Dinner was another highlight, and Devlin deserves huge credit for that. The service was outstandingβreally attentive and relaxed, perfectly timed, and full of great suggestions. It made the meal feel like an experience rather than just a quick bite, and the food itself was fantastic. Also, a shout-out to the new girl who was working that nightβwe didnβt catch her name, but she was lovely and handled everything with confidence and a smile. Youβd never have guessed she was new. The whole team worked together seamlessly, and it made our stay genuinely memorable. Weβll definitely be backβ
βStayed here during a 4 day family holiday in Glasgow. The hotel was great location for me and my family. Halal places were 15mins drive away with very good motorway links so made it that much easier for us to grab food. Check in was quick and seamless. Didnβt have any major issue, the only small issue we had was the room was extremely hot but hotel did provide fans in their room but didnβt really help with cooling the room down. Overall a pleasant stay!β
βJust spent two fantastic days at the Torrance Hotel, celebrating my Sonβs Wedding, everything was amazing the venue and attention to detail was spot on, the staff throughout the hotel were all just lovey and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the meal at the Wedding reception was delicious as was the food we had in the restaurant, I have had many messages from friends & family saying what a fantastic day they all had, all complementing on the meal and the hotel in general. I would highly recommend this hotel as a Wedding Venue, or even for a visit to the restaurant, you wonβt be disappointed.β
βLocal to us but hadnβt tried their restaurant before - though seen good things online! We were in the regular restaurant as Sidings wasnβt open so weβll be back to try that. It was midweek during the day and wasnβt busy. Service was quick and we were checked in on regularly. They have a good Market Menu Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm. We went for 2 courses for Β£14.95. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Went for the haggis fritters to start and the fish and chips for the main - really tasty and quick to come out!β
βThis was an exceptional hotel for the price point! The room was clean and comfortable, and the lobby was spacious. Lots of room to sit for a drink or meal. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and refreshed regularly. They also had gluten free options available! The staff were professional, helpful and kind! A great locations, minutes to the Queen train station and George Square. On a major bus route and 2 mins from the subway! Highly recommend!β
βWell what an amazing day, Lorraine, Amy and their staff did an outstanding job. Our wedding couldnβt have gone any better. From start to finish it was so professional and magical. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. Amy and Lorraine you both are stars, you made me feel not only clam but also beautiful. Honestly wouldnβt off had my wedding at any other venue you have all made my dream wedding come true we are forever grateful. Love the new Mr & Mrs Yorkβ
βOur stay was great. We came with a child that has sensory issues so they upgraded us free of charge to a room that was on a quite side. Not around the area where the weading are being held. Staff was really nice. Great place to start your journey. I do recommend this place if you have a car. Not sure what are the options for public transport. I will defenatley be coming backβ
βStayed there as working close by (nightshift). Great room as Premier Inn's usually are. was very quiet and slept very well. Very welcoming staff. Car park isn't good for vans as spaces are just big enough for cars, so with vans or other larger vehicles spaces are limited. Overall 10/10β
