βAll of the team at the Lynnhurst and our wedding planner Kerry-Ann were absolutely fantastic and made our day so special by going over and above in all aspects from planning, arranging and particular for the ceremony set up we asked for out of their normal arrangement to the service and support on the day. Kerry-Ann even helped cut personal made bouquets to help us in the morning and was a supporting shoulder for worries on the day. They were all very welcoming and friendly and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. We couldnβt have picked a better venue! The venue itself was also very well maintained and beautiful in the wedding area. If we had to do it again weβd choose the Lynnhurst again!β
βThe best service I have received ever from a hotel. The reception staff were very helpful, explained all facilities. Would go above and beyond. Highly recommended this hotel to anyone wanting a spa getaway as the Aura Spa is out of this world. Helen at reception went above and beyond to make your spa experience out of this world. My partner had the hero package and said it's worth every penny, Chen her masseuse got every knot out and relaxed her to point of sleeping. Rosie my masseuse, gave me a deep tissue massage and she has magic hands. Definitely a must if you stay at hotel.β
βSpent Boxing day in the bar. Despite not being locals, it was welcoming with good service. The jukebox is very good.β
βGreat restaurant in a great hotel, Surprised by food quality of the bar menu: ibeye was close to perfection. Impressive list of whiskies by the glass. Private rooms for dinner or tasting available.β
βThe service we received from Jack Joss was utterly outstanding! We first met Jack at a property viewing over a year ago, and we were genuinely taken aback by how fantastic he was at his job. Jack is one of the most lovely, honest, and down to earth people weβve ever met, which is a rare find in the industry. He guided us through the process of a closing date, and even though we lost out on that particular property, Jack kept in touch and continued to let us know about upcoming properties that suited our needs. When it came time to sell our own property, there was no question that Jack was the only person we wanted to handle it. His guidance through the sale of our first home was honestly exceptional. He showed such patience, professionalism, and willingness to help, making what could have been a stressful process so easy and simple. Jack organised everything from start to finish, he kept us informed every step of the way, and was always available when we needed him - nothing was ever too much trouble. Whilst we were in the process of selling our property, Jack let us know about an upcoming home that was exactly what we were looking for. He arranged a viewing for us and, once again, guided us through the closing date process with the same calm, clear, and professional support weβd already come to appreciate so much. He even put us in touch with a solicitor, making the whole transition from selling to buying incredibly smooth and stress-free. Jack really went above and beyond to ensure both ends of the process worked together seamlessly. His communication, reliability, and attention to detail never wavered. It honestly felt like he had our back the entire time, and we always knew we could trust his advice. Buying and selling at the same time can be overwhelming, but Jack made it feel completely manageable, and actually enjoyable - our daily phone calls were an absolute delight. He truly is an absolute credit to Pennylane, his knowledge of the market and his people skills are second to none, and because of him we wouldnβt hesitate to recommend the company to anyone looking to sell or buy. As for Pennylane as a company, weβre so grateful for their attentiveness, transparency, and overall value. The single clear payment structure was straightforward and refreshing, there genuinely was no hidden fees or unexpected surprises. We truly cannot thank Jack enough for everything he has done for us - from finding us our perfect property to just being a shoulder to lean on throughout the whole process. He really is the best in the business, and a true credit to Pennylane!β
βHotels located in a really lovely & quiet spot right next to where the canal meets the Clyde. The place was just as nice on the inside with absolutely charming bedrooms, hallways & residents lounge. We booked 3 rooms and all had a fantastic nights sleep. The rooms are appointed with everything needed for a restful sleep and the entire hotel was immaculately clean throughout. All of us commented how good the shower pressure was too. Will definitely be returning whenever weβre visiting the area!!β
βSarah looked after us as we booked our first cruise. She was so lovely and helpful. Gave us some recommendations and tips for the booking. Ricky was also very helpful, gave us some great advice and told us what to expect from our cruise. Would highly recommend using Hays Travelβ
β1st class service. Put dress in to get steamed & very happy with results. Prompt service, friendly staff & competitive pricing! Will definitely use again & highly recommend.β
βHad a lovely aromatherapy massage. Team is so friendly and helped us find the best treatment. Clean facilities and a very relaxing atmosphere.β
βExcellent luxury apartment in a great location with stunning views would highly recommend to anyone for visiting a great city !!β
βLovely apartment in a really nice spot in Glasgow's west end, staff were very good also. Highly recommended. Thanks againβ
βExcelent apartment, with all the facilities neededβ
βJust had a beautiful Christmas meal, quite possibly the best Turkey I've ever eaten, and I've had a few Turkey dinners, all the usual stuff with the lovely addition of a large yorkshire pudding, the whole thing was lush and plenty of it. Had a prawn cocktail starter and trio of puddings. Very well worth the money for 3 courses. Only one small negative, and it's minor, was our table of 9 was split into 2 separate tables instead of having us all together. I'd definitely recommend.β
βWe had a lovely overnight stay in the Woodland Golf Lodge, there was everything we needed in the lodge and the hot tub was lovely with great views. Jennifer who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.β
βJust moved into the area and had lunch at the station Hotel this afternoon. Service was prompt and polite, food was excellent, I had steak pie which was melt in the mouth and delicious. One if our party was gluten free and had sea bass which in her words was the best she had ever had. The selection of cocktails was very temping and my wife had a sea breeze which was lovely apparently, despite me not getting a taste. The serving staff are excellent and worth every penny if the tip. We will return to sample the beer garden next.β
βDelicious! The Plough changed hands about 5 years ago, we were their first function with our wedding reception and they did us proud. We go back often but always on our anniversary. The staff are wonderful and so friendly, the food is sooooo good! Definitely recommended.β
βFraser was the best waiter we have had in recent times. The food was brilliant but the service really made itsβ
βStayed overnight here for a business trip. Very handy as it's a 5-10min walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station. Friendly reception staff, nice spacious 4th floor room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and good bacon, all the standard fare but not a vast choice of things though.β
βWe were so pleased we chose Number 10 Hotel as our wedding venue. The day ran so smoothly, staff were incredible, and the food was sublime. Our guests commented on how well organised the day was, and this was largely down to our fabulous co-ordinator Heather. From day one we felt in safe hands, and we had a day that we really wanted, and both couldn't be happier. Special mention to Tam and Neil who were fantastic. Thank you Heather, and all of the team, for making our day unforgettable- for all the right reasons!β
βThe Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre (St. Enoch Square) offers an exceptional base for exploring the vibrant heart of Glasgow. Its location is truly unbeatable, making it a standout choice for both leisure and business travelers. Situated right by St. Enoch Square, you're mere steps away from the bustling Buchanan Street, Glasgow's premier shopping destination, and the lively main market. What truly elevates this hotel is its incredible proximity to transport links. Being near both Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations means seamless connections for arriving, departing, or venturing further afield. This convenience eliminates any travel stress, allowing you to maximize your time enjoying the city. The hotel itself upholds Premier Inn's reliable standards: clean, comfortable rooms, often with their signature Hypnos beds ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the immediate area is buzzing, the rooms offer a quiet retreat from the city' noise. Whether you're in Glasgow for shopping, culture, or business, the Premier Inn at St. Enoch Square provides a wonderful, convenient, and comfortable experienceβ
βThe Village is a fantastic hotel with everything you need under one roof. Thereβs a Starbucks, a pub & grill, swimming facilities, and a sauna and steam room β whatβs not to love? The staff are incredibly friendly and canβt do enough for you. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was top-tier, and the service was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend The Village. Thank you!β
βHotel is/was being worked on, and parking is a little limited but is free. Still a very good Permier inn stay. Good large room, nice bathroom and shower, all clean with a modern layout. Great bed.β
βStayed one night at the start of our trip. Were very accommodating to our requests, reasonable prices, comfortable beds and clean rooms. We didn't use the restaurant so we can't comment on it.β
βThe minute you walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff who are very helpful. The rooms feel clean, luxurious and have all the amenities you need to have a pleasant stay. The breakfast is some of the best I had and the food served is delicious and wonderfully presented. The people that served me really go the extra mile and make you feel as a valued guest. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!β
βLittle bit from city centre but fantastic rooms..the kitchenettes are so handy. We stay in Glasgow 3/4 times per year and put the rooms as best value in the city. Will certainly return.β
βManagement are making great inroads to improving this hotel and restaurant. We recently attended the restaurant for a 90th birthday bash and all 10 of us enjoyed the food from the wide selection on offer. The toilets were very clean. The waiters were very attentive and efficient, also the prices were very reasonable will defo be back.β
βWas staying for 2 nights and from check in until check out it was perfect. Staff was lovely, rooms were incredibly clean, super quiet and a very well equipped kitchen. There's no plugs by the top bunks but they got extension cords so you can make it work quite easily. The beds are so comfy. Bathroom lights are quite bright so sleep mask might be good to bring but that's an essential for me anyway in a hostel. They have a very beautiful lounge room to read in, there's a whiteboard on the wall with what's on in the area. If you don't want to catch the bus it's only about 30 minutes walk to Glasgow central station or a 10 minute walk to the bus station and there's a little park right by the hostel with lots of squirrels. The whole building is just beautiful and I will definitely stay again!β
βJust back from an overnight stay. Fab hotel. We were going to concert at the OVO. Great location for it. It is literally round the corner from it. Check in and out was easy and fast. Kathleen was amazing so helpful and friendly. She remembered us in the morning when checking out too which was amazing considering how busy it was. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the bar and service was quick and meal was fab. Breakfast was great too. Fab Team keeping things running like clock work . Pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room great too. We stayed in Room 210. It was quiet and great sized room. Fridge was bonus.β
βFinally got to stay in a Virgin Hotel! Brought my fiancΓ© for a city break for a weekend. Everything exceeded expectations. Stunning decor all around the hotel - every detail has been considered. Lauren welcomed us and they went above and beyond - so friendly and allowed us to grab our (upgraded) room early and took our bags to our room. Amazing service. All felt so effortless. Loved the Petite Chamber, I've seen some comments about the size but the separate dressing area and lounge made it feel really spacious, and the sliding door separates the areas. Dresser was perfect for getting ready, also loved that the shower and toilet were in separate cubicles. Stopped the room from getting steamy after a shower. Perfect water temperature. Bed was perfect - I haven't slept that well in a long time. Thermostat was easy to control and made the room a perfect temperature. Room controls & more on TV (loved that), especially appreciated the cast feature as I've always wanted this in other hotels! Plenty of plug sockets and USB outlets - did really like that there's USB-C PD too. We also ate in the Common Club which was superb, on the expensive side but delicious food, and the vegan options were fab (had the mushroom shawarma). I didn't manage to get the mobile key to work and did find some of the light controls fiddly (such as delayed input from the app or no input received at all) but I think this will improve with time. Also, Virgin mention that the mini bar prices are supposed to be more in line with high-street prices, but they were expensive. I'd also suggest more storage for clothing. We will be back. Thank you!β
