βWe loved this hotel, stayed for one night as a wee childfree night away. We were warmly welcomed and our room was so light, clean and spacious, with a mini bar and coffee machine (we had upgraded to a superior, v worth it). The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. We visited the spa twice, both times not too busy, really clean and we had a lovely time. We ate out at night but breakfast in the morning was buffet with other menu choices, some with a charge. The buffet had plenty of choice and was all good. We'd highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.β
βDelightful place to eat especially for the narrow canal people. The atmosphere is lovely and very restful/peaceful. The wait staff are personable and professional. Service was impeccable. Options provide a variety of well prepared. There are also vegan items on the menu.β
βWe had a fabulous stay here. Clean and comfortable rooms, amazingly friendly staff, great breakfast, and a fantastic bar. It's conveniently located in Glasgows West End, with an array of coffee shops, restaurants and bars all close by. If you do stay, visit the botanical gardens across the road. There is a subway close by which will get you into Glasgow Town Centre in 10 to 15 minutes. Highly recommended!β
βExcellent experience from start to finish. Rohan at the front desk was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and always willing to help. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth during my stay. I was pleasantly surprised to see him at the restaurant as well, where he continued to provide excellent service. The food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Truly a great experience overall. Highly recommended!β
βSo clearly a party palace for the city. However the beds were clean and comfy, and other than a Sunday bin collection at 7am... it was pretty peaceful, even though it is situated in a busy area of town. The suite had clear signs of being used for parties.... with sellotape marks on walls. And smelled of smoke. And some idiot had stole the light bulbs from the bedside lamps. Something cleaners wldnt have noticed as they probably dont put the small lights on in daylight when they clean. Other than that. . For a girls trip.. we wld book again. Did not use the spa as had no time.β
βA big thank-you to all the staff at Queen Street, Glasgow. I had a fantastic 2 night stay. Ideally situated for shopping and eating out. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough. Looking forward to my next visit!!β
βA superb hotel in a great location with easy access to the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with excellent heating and a large TV β perfect for relaxing after a day out. The restaurant being open 24 hours was a real highlight β the food arrived within 15β20 minutes and the portions were generous and delicious. There is paid parking available, though it would be even better if private or complimentary parking were offered. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.β
βStayed here with my daughter and we both loved it. Location was great, rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the bed was sooo comfy! Staff were fantastic and check in and out was very quick. Great value! Will definitely be back.β
βLovely stay at ABode with my family for my graduation. Great location, excellent service and super comfy beds! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and better than any breakfast I have experienced at a hotel.β
βWent for spa day and afternoon tea. Both therapists were absolutely amazing we both left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Both so attentive, nothing wS too much trouble. Afternoon tea was also amazing and they catered for us as vegetarians. Will be back. Highly recommend.β
β10 of us went there for my wife's birthday. The staff could not have been any more helpful. The food was served hot and very tasty. The drinks were served within a few minutes of ordering. WE will be going back and would seriously recommend this place for a meal or a group.β
βI had such a great stay here! The room was super clean and the bedding was so comfyβI slept like a dream every night. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again! We've stayed all around Scotland and this was by far our favorite place!β
βPerfect location and very accessible for any professional workers requiring a place to stay. Manager is one of the nicest people do not be put off by the 12 midnight shut as it is more than Worth it. Manager was very helpful and is just a regular family man like you or I. Food was top quality all fresh which is all you can ask for and the prices of there dalmore beats the average boozer by Β£2 a nip. Do not worry about portion size it is definitely adequate. Bedrooms are small but I got a single so don't think you and the Mrs can fit a single room. Other than this everything else was perfect. Loved my stay thanks again for making it feel like home for my 3 day stay!!β
βMy husband and I had an overnight stay at The Commercial Hotel and would definitely recommend it. There is a spacious car park at the rear of the hotel. Very friendly staff at check in (sorry can't remember the ladies name who checked us in & also served us at dinner and breakfast). I was lucky enough to get one of the first two rooms downstairs with a balcony. The room itself was spotless. There were plenty of tea's and coffees available with complimentary biscuits, it was a nice touch. After settling in the room we went down to the bar for food, the steak and sausage pie is delicious I would definitely recommend trying it. Later that night after returning from a birthday party the nightclub was in full swing, you couldn't hear anything from the downstairs room but if you walked up to the top floor you could hear the music blaring. For those looking for a quieter stay I recommend asking for the lower floor rooms. The only criticism I can add is that I had trouble connecting to the WiFi in the room but in fairness that didn't really bother me. I do have to say though after having a delicious meal at dinner time I was very disappointed with the breakfast. The Scottish breakfast came out with scrambled egg which was disgusting and tasted burnt, the sausage wasn't that great either, the only nice thing's on the plate were the black pudding and potato scone. We would definitely love to return for a visit even if it is only to have the steak pie.β
βWas greeted by excellent front desk staff who were INCREDIBLY helpful and cheery. Room was clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast in the Novotel was great value (& fresh). Check-out staff (at 5am!!) also went above and beyond to help with my boarding pass. I HIGHLY recommend the Ibis Hotel if you are staying in Glasgow!β
βI cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Argyl Hotel. The location was central enough to be accessible to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was very good. We wanted to extend our stay and the front desk people made sure we could stay. The best thing about the hotel is the warmth and caring of everyone who took the time to talk with us and attend to all our needs. My wife sprained her ankle and they went downstairs to the restaurant to get her ice.β
βVery well looked after wouldn't put my dog anywhere else Maria does a great job.β
βLove this apartment, stayed here a couple times and would definitely recommend. Beautiful big home, lovely and modern and close to central! Good value for money xβ
βThe pictures don't do any justice to how beautiful this place is. Everything well thought off, it was supper clean and smelled amazing.β
βBrilliant service, friendly people and now I have a very pleased dog!β
βCleanliness, comfort, and service at a high level. I'd go back anytime!β
βWe stayed at these apartments for 14 days in July 2014, a couple of weeks before the commonwealth games. The apartment and staff were second to none. The apartment in central for ALL activities. on a main bus route for ALL the city and surrounds, close to the metro (Clockwork Orange!) giving access to the main railway stations, that are only a short walk. Now you take a city break BUT in the 14 days in the city we had a fantastic time only having to use the car, that was stored in the apartments secure car park, but just once we went to the Kelpies on the A9 by Falkirk. Glasgow was a fantastic city, full of activities day & night. If i had one "moan" it would be Tesco accept deliveries at very, very early times of the morning!β
βExcellent service and very reliable trust worthyβ
βVery freindly staff and good service provided. Apartment clean and tidy. Will book again when next visiting Glasgowβ
