“I won't lie, I love my dogs more than my children so choosing the right kennels for my spaniels was really important which is why we choose Birdston kennels. The staff are amazing and have an obvious love for dogs and their jobs. The kennels are high quality and offer everything they need. Frequent updates and Facebook posts let you see how much fun they are having. We wouldn't go anywhere else, our doggies had a great time.”

“We had the best time here for my hen do – it was a total surprise and absolutely perfect! The house was huge, with a stunning back room, our own private function area, two bars, a massive hot tub, and en-suite rooms for all my hens – such a luxury! The team were brilliant and quick to sort out any little issues we mentioned, which made the whole weekend run so smoothly. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate – unforgettable weekend!”

“Food is just your basic pub fare. Plenty of options both for adults and kids alike. Nothing spectacular but then you wouldn't expect it to be. I wanted to leave a review simply because of the service. The staff were excellent from start to finish. Took the fact my son has a nut allergy seriously and with good grace and were always smiling despite wearing many hats and being busy. These days, good service is never guaranteed so it was nice to be reminded. Hungry Horse...hope you pay them well.”

“There was a bit of a wait at check in. Only one computer and after a long walk from train station, it was not ideal. They were very apologetic and kind. Staff were lovely. Warm and friendly. I have Autism and ADHD, and I found everyone very helpful and supportive when I wished to request the same room for my next stay. Very fun interactions between staff. Which gave the environment a positive feel. The room was amazing! Plenty of space. Clean. Well stocked. I did not wish housekeeping. I prefer my space left until I leave because of my Autism, knowing someone I don’t know has been in the room can feel uncomfortable. I am not messy anyway, so nothing to do. They respected the sign on the door every day. Not one knock. Which I really appreciated! Quieter than expected. And really a gem for some quiet time away from home. I am back in two days! And have found my little home away from home to decompress and relax. Highly recommended!”

“Warm welcome from the staff. Table was all set and ready for our party of 14. Food was amazing. Piping hot and large portions. Everything was delicious. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food in lovely stylish surroundings. Very reasonable prices.”

“We stayed just for one night as we were travelling up to glencoe. The fact that our dog was allowed in and the rooms were of high-quality made it even more special. We arrived in the evening and they managed to fit us in the restaurant. The food was great, generous portions and cooked fresh! We woke up early in the morning and had a dog walk around the golf course with the map that they provided to witness a spectacular sunrise. After the walk, we went to the spa and wow! If you stay here, make sure you check into the spa with the facilities they have it was amazing. After that, we had a lovely breakfast with great views and great service. Would stop here again.”

“kids are well set up. we love road trip. end of the day we need relaxation for the next day trip. it is third caravan park through hoseason , everything is very clean and well maintained. Althoguh they given all items based on 4 people but trust me it is all good, swimming pool kids love it.”

“A lovely wee Chinese restaurant, we went for lunch and enjoyed tasty food from a decent, reasonably priced lunch menu. The waiter was friendly and efficient. A nice, intimate but informal atmosphere, the place is clean and welcoming.”

“Rooms a bit tired but for the price, it was very clean and the fact they are dog friendly was a big plus. Staff sorted everything for us and the beds for the dogs was a great touch. The McDonald's customers make finding a parking space difficult.”

“The view is just spectacular! If you want to see Glasgow from above, this is a good spot for it! The restaurant has two small terraces where you can sit outside and have a drink. Inside it is very cozy and I liked the atmosphere. Also the staff was very friendly and very attentive, asking several times if we wanted anything else. The food was coming fast, was very nice arranged and totally yummy. Alltogether a really pleasant experience!”

“Booked a single room the night before arriving, as I had to meet a contact in Glasgow. Single plus breakfast £47.00. I had the attic room, perfect for me. Took a shower on the second floor as it’s shared, this doesn’t bother me as I’m ex forces. WiFi, Bed comfortable, skylight, TV with Virgin box. Tomasz was superb, couldn’t do enough, cooked me a great breakfast at 7am. Cheers Dave from Manchester”

“Both of my dogs go to this doggy day care. The staff are amazing with them. The dogs get so excited as I pull up in the car which shows me how much they absolutely love going in. They come home absolutely knackered from all the playing. I would highly recommended this doggy daycare.”

Have used it twice now both times it has been excellent and Mini is happy on to stay.The catery is designed well very secure and cat orientated. Highly recommended I provided food Minis bed and toys and treats . Great service thank you again”

“Allan has been walking my dog for a good while now and always takes them in great walks. The dogs are well looked after and no matter the weather they always come back dry and clean. Great service from him all the time”
