Rooms were very clean and tidy . Breakfast was continental .Good variety of food . The Italian restaurant was so delicious and had an offer on so very reasonable. We will stay here again”
“Popped in for lunch. Home-made pies on special. We each had a different flavour. My favourite was the minted lamb. Full of flavour, full of meat. All proper hand-made. Beautiful.”

“Stayed here many times and really Nice hotel and garage next door only problem is it’s just of A63 which at times can have a lot of traffic”
“I stayed here last night, great value for money clean warm room staff very nice thank-you Abdul he rang and asked when was checking in and was there to greet me when I arrived the only fault I can complain about is fact they was no spoon provided to stare my coffee but I will definitely stay there again”
“Rooms are recently updated, staff are super, food is really nice, will say you are above a bar so noise is expected. Steve and jess are amazing hosts and will make your stay very comfortable, stay recommended”
“One of the best hotels l stayed at affordable prices”
“Had a very pleasant stay. I stayed for 10 days. The price was reasonable. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. When I had an issue with hot water in my room they let me use the shower in the adjacent room. Overall had a very good experience and would highly recommend.”
“This is a caravan park, loads of space between units - lots of electric pitches - water close to units - beautiful open setting surrounded by trees. Large undercover area with seating to sit if raining - / 2 x loos, disabled friendly & clean. 2 showers with hot water and central heating / fab facilities”
“We were greeted by Warren the host who made us feel very welcome and even offered to drive us to our family BBQ if we couldn't get a taxi. We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean with ensuite. The breakfast room was full of goodies, even pots of jam and marmalade for sale. The location was excellent, picturesque and well worth a visit. We are already planning a return trip.”
“Our stay at Green Meadows Park was absolutely perfect! My wife and our dog just spent the most amazing, relaxing few days at one of their Spa Pet Lodges. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Stephen, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and made sure we had everything we needed, while also giving us the privacy to unwind. The accommodation was impeccable—spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with a lovely welcome hamper, including sleep masks for the roof light, which was a great touch. The hot tub was a real highlight, and Stephen ensured it was always in top condition, popping by each morning for maintenance. The grounds are beautifully kept, with charming little rabbits hopping around, and plenty of space for walking our dog (on a lead, of course). It was a true haven for us and our four-legged friend. I cannot recommend Green Meadows Park highly enough. It was easily one of the best British holidays we’ve ever had. If you stay here, don’t miss out on visiting The Spotted Duck just across the road—their cooked breakfast was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. Thank you, Stephen, for making our stay unforgettable! We’ll definitely be back.”
“Absolutely fantastic site. Site owners , Julie & Gary very welcoming and friendly. Food 10/10 and a lovely bar on site. Facilities perfect. Site clean & tidy with the added bonus of feeding the alpacas in the morning. Wonderful experience! Will definitely return ❤️”
“Lovely guest house with very friendly hosts. We stayed in the triple room on the top floor, with a small window and a straight view of the sea. The bed was quite soft. The room was quite warm so we slept with the window open, and the street was very quiet, we could even hear the sea. The shower room was new and the water was immediately hot. The hosts served a full English breakfast, plus cereal: I had the vegetarian option. Completely dog friendly. Great location, right on the seafront.”
“From the moment we arrived at Elm Tree Farm B&B, we were struck by the beauty and tranquillity of the location – set well away from the main road and surrounded by rolling countryside, it was the perfect place to unwind. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a bed so comfortable it felt like pure luxury. I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a very long time – something I wasn’t expecting but will definitely remember! Breakfast was equally impressive: a proper, hearty full English cooked to perfection, with fresh fruit juice, cereals for those who prefer a lighter option, and excellent coffee. My wife said her pot of tea was just right – hot, strong, and flavourful, exactly how it should be. Gina, the owner, is an absolute delight – friendly, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about running a great B&B. She’s created something really special here. One of the highlights was discovering the private guest garden – a quiet, secluded spot that felt like stepping into Narnia. Peaceful, full of charm, and the perfect place to sit and soak it all in. All in all, Elm Tree Farm is a real gem. We felt truly cared for, relaxed, and recharged. We will definitely be back.”
“Excellent meal we've been twice, friendly staff. Clean tables and chairs, neither sticky. Cutlery and condiments clean. Recommend highly definitely go back”
“I had the pleasure of staying at Highfield Hotel, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in England. As a guest, I was warmly welcomed and treated with genuine care and respect throughout my stay. A special thanks to Lindsey and the rest of the staff, who were absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was very clean, elegant, and well maintained, offering excellent comfort and value for money. The traditional British charm of the hotel made the stay even more special, creating a homely and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. I felt completely comfortable and included, and I would highly recommend Highfield Hotel to anyone looking for genuine hospitality and comfort in England.”
“Sheryl and Graham made us very welcome. The breakfasts were wonderful. My husband enjoyed the full English and I enjoyed the choice of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and a small cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed, sparkling clean en-suite. In fact it was so nice, words are inadequate.”
“Tried the lunch time tasting menu. Food was fantastic using locally sourced ingredients. Would recomend this experience wholeheartedly.”
“A real gem of a campsite situated 40 minute bus ride from Hull city Centre and 30 minutes into Beverly Centre. Beautifully kept site with a lovely wild foul pond in the centre pizzas and pies served weekends during peak time but was closed while we were there. Very secure in and out of the site. The owners were really friendly and accommodating helping us with Taxi information and bus services. The toilets were quite dated and although the water was nice and warm when you turned it off, it was freezing cold standing in the shower units as they were not heated however they are just in the process of building a new shower block which will definitely add Great facilities to the site which is already exceptional. Five minute walk to great garden centre with lovely café for breakfast and a 15 minute walk to the local ship Inn pub we didn’t use those facilities but easy to get there.”
“Stayed here for just the 1 night in the motorhome but we’ll definitely be looking to return in the not so distant future. Very well kept site, the lady who ran it seemed pleasant and helpful enough on arrival. The regulars seemed friendly enough. The weather was glorious so they all congregated on a couple of benches in the middle and looked to be having a good laugh over a few drinks and Just before 11pm (quiet hours) all went off to their caravans. Didn’t bother us at all as we was outside until gone 10.30pm enjoying the weather. Facilities all good enough and what you’d expect on a site. Great location, less than 5 mins drive to the centre of Hornsea or the sea front. We will 100% be looking to return on several occasions as Hornsea is one of our favourite spots along the East Yorkshire coast”
“Excellent place to stay excellent staff very friendly. My daughter and I stayed here absolutely loved it We went in the pool which was super clean and private. Lovely garden and the breakfast is brilliant.”
“What a wonderful place to stay. Right on a main road which you don't really hear during the day and definitely don't hear at night. I booked and stayed in a self contained cabin for two nights. A wonderful veranda to sit and have your morning or evening meals, looking out over the gardens. Amenities within the cabin are well thought out, with a microwave, kettle, TV, fridge and everything you'd need for basic survival. With a massive tesco's, ten minutes down the road in Market Weighton, a McDonald's 200yrds away, even a carwash and an Indian restaurant in Shiptonthorpe, everything is on your doorstep, for a business trip away from home. For a more active stay, Jeanette could help recommend places. This is definitely on my list of places to stay, when I'm in the area next.”
“Had a fantastic evening here with friends. The food was spot on, although one criticism was the lack of brie and cranberry in the pie, but the wife loves that stuff. Everyone else loved the food, the staff were great and we enjoyed having a laugh with them. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”
“Amazing stay in the Humber Lofts for my other half’s birthday. Was good process of checking in. Knew information and where to part before hand. Apartment itself was really spacious, very clean and well decorated. Bathroom was amazing. Will definitely be back”
“There was a welcoming Atmosphere when we arrived. We were welcomed by the staff immediately when doors opened. The pub had a pleasant and warm environment. The food was excellent with generous portions.. We didn’t stay at the accommodation but would have gladly stayed as it is near a number of popular venues. There is a large carpark and free of charge.”
