“Our stay at Green Meadows Park was absolutely perfect! My wife and our dog just spent the most amazing, relaxing few days at one of their Spa Pet Lodges. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Stephen, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and made sure we had everything we needed, while also giving us the privacy to unwind. The accommodation was impeccable—spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with a lovely welcome hamper, including sleep masks for the roof light, which was a great touch. The hot tub was a real highlight, and Stephen ensured it was always in top condition, popping by each morning for maintenance. The grounds are beautifully kept, with charming little rabbits hopping around, and plenty of space for walking our dog (on a lead, of course). It was a true haven for us and our four-legged friend. I cannot recommend Green Meadows Park highly enough. It was easily one of the best British holidays we’ve ever had. If you stay here, don’t miss out on visiting The Spotted Duck just across the road—their cooked breakfast was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. “EASTDALE B&B is one of the best places we have stayed. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our room at the top of the house was very quiet with comfortable beds and lovely outlooks over gardens and countryside. The breakfast was great and we could watch the birdlife as we ate. Liz and Paul were very helpful and we had some very pleasant conversations over breakfast. Thanks very much for a lovely stay( despite our car breaking down) Mary and Colin from Morecambe”

“This is a caravan park, loads of space between units - lots of electric pitches - water close to units - beautiful open setting surrounded by trees. Large undercover area with seating to sit if raining - / 2 x loos, disabled friendly & clean. 2 showers with hot water and central heating / fab facilities”

“The best cattery in Hull and surrounding areas. Our Cat who is very much a homebody loves going and always comes back happy. The cattery is immaculately clean, always warm and welcoming. The staff are lovely and their links to Cat Protection just make everything better. Neville won’t go anywhere else now and we are thrilled he’s found a home from home. (If you have cats with allergies or dietary requirements too this Cattery cater well for that and they’ve followed our cats strict little plan to a tee.) thank you Rosedale, we’re so grateful.”

“We have been boarding our dog here for a while now and just wouldn't go anywhere else. We were worried when we lost our other dog last year that she would be nervous on her own, particularly being a rescue, but needn't have been. The care she receives is first class. The owner and staff genuinely care about the animals in their care. I never worry when we leave her. It's also a nice treat for her to have a bath and brush sometimes when she stays. Just the best boarding kennels. Thank you!”

“What a place! We've been accessing the training school which has seen our little Chester come on leaps and bounds and thought why not try the day care too. Leanne managed to get us in on very short notice which was amazing and so helpful. Whenever Chester goes to Noah's Ark, he doesn't want to come home. We have to carry him out the door. The enrichment and care the dogs receive is second to none. And the report card you get at the end of every day is very informative and a lovely way of letting owners know what your little pups are up to. We can't wait to get his prom photo soon! Thanks for all the care you give our little pup. If anyone ever wonders if this place is worth it then take our word for it and book in!”

The staff here are lovely and take care of your kitty as if it was their own. The areas that your cat stays in are always spotless and clean and spacious. “I have used other kennels in the past but Leconfield are by far the best. My dogs have been coming here for many years now and the care they receive is outstanding. I can tell that everyone who is a part of Leconfield Kennels. are all genuine animal lovers. I have no worries when I leave my little elderly dog, as she trots off with no hesitation. I have also used the grooming parlour and my dog looked lovely after her groom. The lady took really great care of her and did a beautiful job. Thank you to all the team for your care and hard work”

“A lovely place to stay. Very friendly couple. Room was spacious, very clean & well presented with a.personal touch. Unfortunately I was away too early for breakfast but I feel sure it would be exemplary! Plenty of parking room for larger vehicles. Far better than any roadside lodges! Highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Lovely guest house with very friendly hosts. We stayed in the triple room on the top floor, with a small window and a straight view of the sea. The bed was quite soft. The room was quite warm so we slept with the window open, and the street was very quiet, we could even hear the sea. The shower room was new and the water was immediately hot. The hosts served a full English breakfast, plus cereal: I had the vegetarian option. Completely dog friendly. Great location, right on the seafront.”

“Have been taking our Springer Spaniel to Muttlins for over 6 years now, for short stays and long stays up to 1 month. You know your do loves going when he gets excited going, he just loves going and is always happy. Highly recommend these kennels, the dogs get out on the pasture for plays 2-3 times every day.”

“I have used cedar farm a few times to board my small animals whilst away on holiday. The care they have always recieved from there has been great. On this last visit my rabbit needed a trip to the vets and medication to be given following the appointment. They kept me informed and updated on how he was doing and I was exceptionally greatful that they took him to the vets. The fact they have done this shows they truly care about the animals in their care. I am very grateful for the care and treatment that he received and will definitely use again in the future. “From the moment we arrived at Elm Tree Farm B&B, we were struck by the beauty and tranquillity of the location – set well away from the main road and surrounded by rolling countryside, it was the perfect place to unwind. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a bed so comfortable it felt like pure luxury. I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a very long time – something I wasn’t expecting but will definitely remember! Breakfast was equally impressive: a proper, hearty full English cooked to perfection, with fresh fruit juice, cereals for those who prefer a lighter option, and excellent coffee. My wife said her pot of tea was just right – hot, strong, and flavourful, exactly how it should be. Gina, the owner, is an absolute delight – friendly, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about running a great B&B. She’s created something really special here. One of the highlights was discovering the private guest garden – a quiet, secluded spot that felt like stepping into Narnia. Peaceful, full of charm, and the perfect place to sit and soak it all in. All in all, Elm Tree Farm is a real gem. We felt truly cared for, relaxed, and recharged. We will definitely be back.”

“A real gem of a campsite situated 40 minute bus ride from Hull city Centre and 30 minutes into Beverly Centre. Beautifully kept site with a lovely wild foul pond in the centre pizzas and pies served weekends during peak time but was closed while we were there. Very secure in and out of the site. The owners were really friendly and accommodating helping us with Taxi information and bus services. The toilets were quite dated and although the water was nice and warm when you turned it off, it was freezing cold standing in the shower units as they were not heated however they are just in the process of building a new shower block which will definitely add Great facilities to the site which is already exceptional. Five minute walk to great garden centre with lovely café for breakfast and a 15 minute walk to the local ship Inn pub we didn’t use those facilities but easy to get there.”

“Lovely campsite. Now adults only. You park the car in the car park and can use wheelbarrows to take your equipment to the field. One toilet and one hot, powerful shower. Small site so no queues. Small wooded area to relax in with seating areas. Firepits on the field. Some noise from main road but not a problem. Run by Vanessa and John a lovely couple who take pride in their campsite, smallholding and land.”

“Stayed here for just the 1 night in the motorhome but we’ll definitely be looking to return in the not so distant future. Very well kept site, the lady who ran it seemed pleasant and helpful enough on arrival. The regulars seemed friendly enough. The weather was glorious so they all congregated on a couple of benches in the middle and looked to be having a good laugh over a few drinks and Just before 11pm (quiet hours) all went off to their caravans. Didn’t bother us at all as we was outside until gone 10.30pm enjoying the weather. Facilities all good enough and what you’d expect on a site. Great location, less than 5 mins drive to the centre of Hornsea or the sea front. We will 100% be looking to return on several occasions as Hornsea is one of our favourite spots along the East Yorkshire coast”
