“The village set up a charity and bought the building to save it from demolition, and it is run by volunteers. The building is dated 1867 and was a school, and the interior is reflected in that. Stunning looking historical building.”

“We went with our 9 year old boy and we all loved it! There were roughly 20 people on the tour in total, with 3 volunteers/guides so plenty of options to ask questions about the different items. There's a huge mix of things, including taxidermy, artwork, historical items and even a cross section of a meteorite! It felt really special being 'behind the scenes' seeing items in racking and boxes, and the group being relatively small meant everyone got to see what was on display easily. Will definitely go back as items change as and when things are loaned out.”

“Our little girl has just finished going to this nursery due to starting school. She has been going for nearly 5 years and she enjoyed every single day she was there. Knowing she was happy means everything. She made lots of friends and loved all the teachers. The staff are very friendly and kept us informed at the end of every session on how she’d been, what she’d been doing and what she’d eaten. There’s was also regular meetings with the child’s key worker to discuss targets etc. Our eldest boy also went to this nursery so we’ve been involved with them for about 7 years altogether. Definitely recommend.”

“Fabulous dance school. My daughter has been attending for 8 years since reception and loves it here. She's developed a love for dance and I'm blown away by what she is able to do thanks to the high standards of tuition. The shows the school puts on are unbelievable and show the talent of the students and its teachers. Lovely staff and a great cafe/waiting area too. Thoroughly recommend.”

“We used RT group as transport to Tbe Deep in Hull, and have fo give a special thanks to Steve who was our driver, was very accommodating and kind to our needs, would 100 percent recommend for any one needing coach travel with a wheelchair”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I've been going to LPDS for 3 years now and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Not only have I learnt pole dancing & fitness, I've also made incredible friends, gained body confidence, and feel part of an inclusive and beautiful community. All of the instructors are masters at what they do, each with their own style, and they genuinely want to see you grow and flourish. There are classes to suit all levels and abilities so everyone is welcome, and there is no rush to go faster than your own pace. Cannot recommend more!”

“Delicious coffee and super friendly staff in a super convenient location! Great for a coffee on the go to work or to sit in and drink with one of their pastries. The shop is clean, welcoming and nicely decorated! Edited (23/07/2024) Still love coming back here! Have now tried the sage sausage roll too, so so good. Every time I’ve come in the staff have been so so lovely and welcoming, super friendly. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and the coffee is always great. Can’t wait to keep coming back! “A fantastic facility for team field sports. Well kept, world class pitches with some room for standing spectators. A variety of sports are catered for. A cafe serving hot drinks, bacon sandwiches and chips is open and there is a bar there as well, though I am not sure of when that opens.”
