βStayed here for one night . Great value, easy check in, clean room , everything you need for a short stay. Plenty of parking . The best part was the breakfast , staff are so happy, cheerful and friendly ! Service with a smile , even a little Christmas sing song , food was perfect ! I love a breakfast made to order, poached eggs at their finest . Made to feel very welcome . Big shout out to Julie and Emma, they were brilliant , their jovial demeanour made a lovely start to my day .well done to both of them, thank you for looking after us !β
βWe chose this hotel as itβs very convenient for the event weβve been to Emporium. Itβs few minutes by walk. Rooms are clean and big.β
βDefinitely improved recently, the last couple of times I've been in couldn't fault service and food has been served promptly and piping hot. Some great deals aswell. Can't knock it. Micks a good lad aswell, service with a smile and polite.β
βReally comfortable room. Very very clean. So nice to enter such a clean bedroom. Great beds. Quiet considering location and very nice staff. All I would say is do not waste your money on breakfast, the fried food looked quite nice but I donβt eat it, so I canβt promise itβs good. but youβll need to make yourself a tea and coffee in paper cups using instant coffee from sachets. Really grim. Wouldnβt take much to put brewed coffee on the bar or a vat of tea. There was some nice choices of continental breakfast but once itβs gone they didnβt seem to restock it so if you arrive later than 7.30 you wonβt have a massive choice. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous all in all a great stay and good value for money (aside from the breakfast which was a rip off).β
βWe had a great one night stay whilst at the GCR beer festival. Easy walking distance to Rothley station. We had Room 12 which was marketed as having a view but the βviewβ was just of some dense trees but this wasnβt a problem. Great breakfast in the morning. All staff extremely polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again - great value for money.β
βNice hotel. Very comfortable bed. Every things very local to you, great staff always greeting you with a positive attitude. I had to stay in the hotel for the last 2 and a half month it has really been a great experience with great staff. Thanks to all the staff especially yousra, aarti and sorry to the other girls I forgot their namesβ
βWe had Christmas Lunch at the Hermitage Park Hotel with our elderly, disabled mother and I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff for making the event pleasurable and easy. You were so kind and thoughtful and also jolly on this special day when you were also working. Everything was done to make sure we had a suitable table. There is spacious, flat access. The chef was excellent, with every item of the Christmas Lunch cooked to perfection and dietary needs catered for. Many thanks.β
βI just wanted to leave a positive review here and say that I enjoyed my stay. Was greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly let me check in an hour earlier as my room was ready. I was given room 216 which was perfect.I didn't hear a sound from anywhere.Had a lovely peaceful sleep. The room was cosy.I would be very happy to stay here again. I was worried about the lift working after reading previous reviews, but it worked fine when I was there.β
βBooked very late at night after a delayed flight when we were desperate for sleep. We arrived at midnight to a very friendly greeting and were quickly checked in and told which facilities were still open. Same chap checked us out, again friendly and quick. Room was nice (nicer than we expected truth be told!) with extremely comfortable bed and well fitted bathroom. I would stay again if I was in the area.β
βWeekend break in the Holiday Inn Leicester was amazing value. A proper quality hotel with large clean and nicely furnished rooms. The bed was massive. All the staff we met were very friendly and great at offering advice if we needed. Breakfast which is the traditional continental and English breakfast was great, lovely and fresh, with a good choice. Francisco our waiter at breakfast was helpful and very smiley. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want top quality a hotel experience but at reasonable ratesβ
βVery good, and useful service! (Update: 5 years later!) Snowdrop are still doing a fantastic job of looking after our pets while we're away, and for an incredibly good price. We couldn't be happier with the service that they provide, and are always at a little bit of a loss of where to go when they do occasionally have a holiday themselves! An absolutely wonderful service.β
βNice private car park at rear....owner been there 20 years..nice place to stayβ
βThe rooms are very clean. The bathroom was very clean. Very strong bathroom shower. Mr. Costa is very kind. Friendly. I was staying with my cousin Mr. Costa loves Indian movies. I was surprised. Mr. Costa's social behavior was great. Mr. Costa was cooking. and inviting me to dinner. welcome me Show me some of the best places to see in Leicester. I was invited to a wedding in Leicester. I was not very happy with the wedding party. Being a Muslim wedding. It was a very ordinary celebration. But I met Mr. Costa, he made me very happy. The food they prepared was very delicious. I will visit Mr. Costa again.β
βStaff are so lovely and the hotel is really comfortable. Definitely worth the priceβ
βAbsolutely lovely staff. Made you feel so at home. Clean and well maintained rooms. We tried the breakfast too which had a good selection (both hot and continental buffet).β
βAbsolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is centrally located, making it super convenient to explore the city. Itβs just a short walk from City Centre, Curve Theatre, Athena, and King Power Stadium, which was a big plus. The food was fantastic β fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety. The service was exceptional, and every staff member I met was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Overall, a wonderful experience β perfect for both business and leisure stays. Iβd definitely stay here again!β
βAmazing service. The staff were very friendly and very courteous. Helped is all the way. Rooms were clean and ample parking space. Location wise it's abit far from the city centre but was suitable for our needs.β
βI was in this hotel for 2 nights and my experience is okey. Our room was clean , beds comfortable and everything was there which we needed.Staff polite and helpful.A lot of space to sit in the restaurant . Good choice of healthy food in the bar. Happy to book again in this hotel .β
βHotel room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities available such as in room iron and full-size ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi in room and public areas. Food was of a very good standard with the included breakfast as I had dinner elsewhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only issue is the location is a long way from the city centre meaning taxi service is expensive to use and buses are at least 15 min walk which with luggage could be an issue.β
βExcellent food and lovely, caring staff. Didn't stay at Hotel as I live locally but if the dining is anything to go by I bet it's wonderful. Hats off to the manager who is doing an amazing job in the face of hard times right now.β
βExcellent location and decent service for the price. Abdullah and Jon were very helpful in resolving our WiFi issues and gave us free WiFi for the duration of our stay. That was very nice of them. No nonsense, no frill hotel, but worth the moneyβ
βI stayed here with my partner for two nights at attend a nearby event. Upon arriving i loved the little chalet type rooms. The car park was roomy and i was able to park right outside the door which was lovely as i don't like my car out of sight in an unknown place due to anxiety. Room was lovely and clean but heating was left on and was too hot. Turned off the radiator and opened one window at the front but the smaller window at the back of the room was welded ajar and wouldnt open further or close which i found a bit strange. The bed was lovely but i like a higher pillow which we only found on top of the cupboard on the second night. The bed could have been bigger as i have a superking at home so it felt very 'cosy' which would be uncomfortable in the summer. A fan to cool down the room would be a lovely addition as it was too hot to sleep, i like to sleep in a cool room. It was quiet and peaceful apart from animals on the roof early morning which we didnt mind. The tv had plenty of channels and the tea making facilities were good apart from only having two teabags between the both of us for two nights. No coffee at all. We were lucky we came with extra tea bags, milk and sugar. The room was big enough for all our luggage and room to still move about. Plenty of handwash and shower gel to use which was lovely. The toilet paper was quite rough on sensitive skin though. Housekeeping knocked on the door on sunday morning but we didn't need anything further as the room was still lovely and clean. The reading lights by the bed were lovely and i was able to have my side on to read while my partner slept. The carpets were lovely and clean also. We didn't dine at the pub as we were too late back to order food but there were plenty of ubereat deliveries to choose from which we had instead. I would definitely stay here again if i'm in the area.β
βRooms were good. Price excellent. We stayed on 25th Dec, so the room was cold in the evening when we first came but once we put the heater temperature up it was fine. For a family of 4 it was great. We forgot our mobile power bank charger there and when we called back to reception they were very helpful. Our friend collected the charger the next day. Very happy about that.β
βWe stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel on Caledonian break. Reading some previous reviews I can perhaps see why it is maybe not for solo travellers. It is true that It was very busy and there were queues for breakfast and dinner but the restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly and always found you a table very quickly. It is well worth the wait as the food is amazing. The breakfast was as good as we have had anywhere and a lot better than many we have stayed at with loads of choice. Dinner was effectively a choice between a roast, a veggie option and one other like a curry for example but as it was buffet style you could help yourself to as much as you want from each option. The food was always hot and tasty. The hotel itself is fabulous with many comfortable places to sit and enjoy a drink and chat with friends old and new. As we were with Caledonian we had an excursion each day so we didn't have time to walk around the grounds to appreciate how vast and well laid out they were. The local village is a 5 minute walk through the car park by the church and there is a lovely friendly and welcoming pub which we went to before dinner each night. Finally I would say that the staff are a credit to the hotel. Very friendly and helpful at all times. I would recommend this hotel and going with Caledonian you get a fantastic deal as well.β
βModern and fresh apartment hotel with kitchen fully equipped including fridge and microwave.... There is the gym. Very clise to downtown - cross the streat. Near the big parking. Close to old railwaystation.β
βI was brought here by my partner for a quick getaway. The room was clean even though it was dated. The beds are large, firm and comfortable. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world. I proud of myself being a big eater but after just having the starter and main I couldn't go on any further as the meals were of a generous portion. Would I come back here. Yes I would and I will more than likely be back soon.β
βGreat stay. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. Alice in particular was a ray of sunshine. Only issue was noise but I brought headphones and the hotel can't help the location!!β
βThis is a basic but fantastic stop off, second time staying. The rooms are clean hotel staff very helpful and to top it all great indian restaurant next doorβ
