βThe staff are all very friendly, quiz night on Mondays is good fun. I have stayed 3 times for work over the last 3 months, the food is good, the rooms are clean & comfortable. Room 4 has a fabulous view. It's easy to park & Joe, a lovely chap who comes in every Monday night, has told me all about the history of the place. I'll be back next month. A little hidden gemβ
βThis was our second visit and once again great for what we want while visiting family on the area. We were having an issue getting in to the room after dinner, but before we could report the issue staff were on the case and on had to sort out the issue. Love the idea of the little kition area as well if you are passing through or working away i guess. We will be back, without question.β
βBeen staying here since my company changing from another Hotel but very local. The staff are very customer focused and keep your well being at the for front of their mind. Just stayed here for 2 nights and although busy, the service was superb in the restaurant. I will say a HUGE big thank you to Clair M who served me and everyone else in the restaurant. Walking around with a huge smile on her face and nothing was too much for her. Can I also mention the waitress Shani, so polite and again served with a smile on her face. Means a lot truely it does. I will not be going anywhere else for the foreseeable future and neither will my colleague's from my company. I work away for work and it is difficult at times, however the staff at Mercure make it easier for me. Please make sure these comments are given to those mentioned? Thank you and again, thank you Clair M for a superb customer service.β
βThe service of I think it was Sam (what a gentleman) and Libby (or Vicky?) the Night managers, was fabulous, they were lovely and helpful when I called and then turned up in the middle of the night after a household emergency. The room (44) could have done with with a little maintenance, maybe it was because I was a last-minute booking, but varnish peeling off doors, and various other little things that could be fixed in a day; carpet due for a refresh too. No plug near bed to charge phone - probably good for my health but not convenient in the circumstances. Breakfast was nice over at the pub next door and good value with the Premier Inn deal. The server there was lovely too. Conclusion - room could do with a touch up, but service was excellent, give these employees a bonus!β
βVery impressed with this Weatherspoons pub. Best presented breakfast i have eber had in a 'spoons'! Best cooked one as well. The position is gorgeous with view of all the surrounding area. And there is a huge outside terrace. The staff were delightful!β
βWe enjoyed our stay and would gladly visit again. Our very clean room was one of the cheaper ones but it was spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed a quick drink in the bar and found the prices very reasonable and the young man serving us polite, friendly and helpful. There was a well cooked breakfast made the next morning using good quality ingredients. It was provided with table service in a pleasant dining room. We usually read reviews before booking, but on this occasion we're glad we didn't because they would have put us off and we would not have stayed. As it happens, although we booked in a hurry and then read the reviews, leaving us dreading our visit, happily our expectations were confounded. We are at a loss to recognise the hotel from some of the negative comments, which have baffled us. It is true, as others have said, that the hotel asks for a Β£200 deposit but, to be fair, this unusual policy is stated on the hotel's website and the deposit was refunded in full within a few hours of us checking out. This is a charming hotel with attentive, hardworking staff, offering a good service.β
βSpent a lovely Sunday afternoon at this hotel with family. Roast dinner and service both amazing. The staff couldnβt have done anymore to make sure the experience was enjoyable. Would highly recommend and definitely be retuning.β
βIt was nice to return to this hotel, as everything runs so smoothly. From check-in in the early hours of the morning, Simon was extremely helpful and explained everything about meals, through to the ladies greeting everyone at Breakfast. The bar staff were also great on the last night, even when the queue was approx 30 people long after a show at the Arena. They remained calm and super efficient. Thank you everyone!β
βThe hotel is in a great central location and is in an amazing historic building. We loved seeing the original features throughout the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the room was comfortable. The only slight downside was that the discounted parking is a 10 minute walk away, which was no problem through our stay but felt a little far when carrying our luggage to/from the hotel.β
βDon't be fooled by the name it's just a pub not an actual hotel. Went on a Sunday evening, was quiet but pleasant. Barman was attentive and pleasant. It serves beers and spirits - enough said :-).β
βWonderful staff, clean rooms and amazing location. At the reception, Natalia was so lovely and we felt welcomed. The atmosphere by the restaurant and lobby is great too. We came here with our puppy and had the more comfortable stay with great views of the docks. Some Hilton hotels can be a hit and a miss, but the service here really makes this is a hit. This will become our go-to everytime weβre in Liverpool!β
βWe had a wonderful family stay in the suite. The room was lovely and clean. Staff were attentive and helpful and went above and beyond for us. Food is lovely and well presented. We also enjoyed the use of the pool next door.β
βWhen my husband said he had booked a 2 star hotel because of the free parking, I wasn't too impressed! However this hotel turned out to be a gem! Rooms were spotless and daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant. We didn't eat breakfast here but it looked good and the dining room has a lovely waterfront view as did our room! Exceptional value for money!β

βThis is a great option for anyone looking for comfortable, reliable, and affordable accommodation in the UK. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and provide everything a traveller needs for a good nightβs rest. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.β
βWe have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now with our 3 children and had a wonderful experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the family rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff have always gone above and beyond to try and grant our request to have a ground floor room to help us with pram access. We look forward to booking again soon xβ

βWe enjoyed our time at Rowton Hall. The beautiful Georgian setting offers a genuine escape, and the experience was great. The spa facilities were very relaxing. Our room was niceβit was clean, spacious, and provided a comfortable base for our stay. A special mention must go to the staff; the hotel receptionist was lovely, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel genuinely welcome.β
βGreat little hotel room for a weekend in Chester. Everything was nice and clean. Only issue is I couldnβt connect my phone to the tv.β

βThank you Michelle We had a wonderful time not only in Liverpool but also at your place. I expected worse, but we got exactly what we needed. The hotel is located in a good location. Around there is a grocery store, takeaway, friendly pub, connection with a bus to the center 24 hours. I recommend 100%β
βAs a business traveller I value a quiet location with an environment that helps me feel rested. The LeverHulme is exactly that. It is classy & packed with character. Donβt expect a gym, you have charming surroundings to explore. But DO expect unparalleled Art Deco features and lounges reminiscent of the 1920βs. The food and service is unmatched on the Wirral. Well done to all Mark and the Staff!β
βAn older Travelodge, but still a very good one. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in staff friendly and helpful, even offered to help me carry my stuff upstairs as there was no lift. Had a great sleep and the shower was good. Free car park on site tooβ
βWe were driving passing by to charge our car, and happen to walk in the reception found this bar. The young pretty waitress was so nice and helpful, we all love her smile. and the food was unexpectedly delicious, really delicious compared to the all ones we had in our trip. Highly recommend.β
