“I cannot praise Amanda highly enough. After a bad experience at another local groomers were my pooch, Bella was cut in multiple areas drawing blood I was hesitant about going anywhere else. More so because they never had the decency to tell me when I picked her up. For those wondering why I didn’t realise immediately I was in a conveyor belt of dog collections as multiple dogs were being groomed and there were also dogs in pens waiting so it was a bit chaotic. I have now been a customer of Amanda’s for years. Fantastic one to one service so no waiting around for me or Bella, no pens or crates used and atmosphere is really relaxing and chilled which is important for Bella. Bella suffers from separation anxiety. Amanda gained her trust and Bella has no issues whatsoever going there. As for me, I know she’s safe and well looked when I drop her off and every groom has been great. Fact, we all leave our dogs a little longer at times or don’t brush them as regularly as we should, I know I’m guilty of it. I have no issue whatsoever with Amanda pointing this out because her priority is Bella and, more importantly doing the best for Bella is exactly what I pay her for. Any tips along the way are great and rest assured Amanda has got the dogs best interests at heart. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Amanda and all of my visits and in turn Bella’s grooms have been 5 star!”

“The building itself is well maintained, accessible ramp as well as steps to the entrance. Clean and seating area for waiting. The staff are all very pleasent and helpful, the vet we saw was great and explained everything to us very well, including thr expected price of treatment options.”

“I'm sorry but Heron Foods just de facto gets 5 stars because its Heron Foods. The ONLY shops serving up Grade A bargains on New Year's Day, Easter Monday AND Christmas Morning. They don't give a damn! You are getting those cut price household options 365 days a year!”

“Always shop here has everything I need. Just discussing the store in Birkenhead closing. There very few shop down there now another one gone. It leaves Asda what do the people do like me that don't drive.”

“Always really helpful on phone and often have appointments available at short notice if needed. Both my rabbits have been treated well for both scheduled and unplanned visits, and always come home better for it. Vets are never cheap obviously, but so far seem most reasonable prices locally, from the little research I've done to compare for things like operations and vaccinations. Different vets on different visits, but all the staff we've met so far have been friendly and professional.”

“Everything for the fish keeper, well worth a visit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of rare and exotic fish as well as a vast selection of community fish. Dry goods, pumps and filters galore. Great selection of marine dry goods and livestock. Pond fish and plants are second to non with over 12 species of pond fish on sale. Large choice of pond pumps and filters. Very reasonable prices & are more than happy to price match. If you’ve not visited before, it’s well worth a look. Expert advice is all areas”

“Old local friend! A perfect mixture of a Bar, a Restaurant,and a Coffee Shop - with a leafy terrace. Food is delicious, always cooked fresh, sourced locally whenever possible, by a proper Chef! Staff is trained, professionally trained is what I mean, with an ever present friendly touch. Menu is reasonably priced. I can’t comment on the wines myself, but I’m assured by my (well over 18!!) daughters that the cocktails are expertly made by the men / women behind the Bar… And the biscuits accompanying your coffee are home made….None of the cellophane wrapped skinny oval shaped “industrial skinny biscuits “!!! Busy at weekend, dogs are welcome, I recommend it to everyone! Never regretted any visit, quick coffee or proper food with friends…”

“Lots of household items at great prices. Also lots of seasonal promotions. Parking outside, unfortunately you need to pay, but its convenient. Would recommend as this is one of the bigger stores. Update : Self checkouts are working now. Well two of them.”

“Had a lovely wake at the Peel Hey Hotel as it was one of my Nan's favourite place for afternoon tea. The food was excellent: the homemade scones were top notch. Also the staff were very kind and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better send off.”

After the walk, she sends us photos/videos of rocky enjoying his walks. Without hesitation I would recommend Eleanor to dog owners!”
