“Briars Hall Hotel hosted a very large celebration of life service for me a few weeks ago which was attended by hundreds of people. The whole experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. So I want to say a massive thank you to all the management and staff at Briars who really took a lot of the stress away from me on an emotional day. The function rooms were beautifully presented, the food was excellent, the service was excellent. The planning and attention to detail to cater for the volume of people who attended was so professionally done. Throughout the whole process communication with Mark, Steve and other staff was superb. I've lost count of the amount of people who gave me amazing feedback on how good the celebration of life party was, though much of the credit should deservedly go to the management and staff at Briars Hall. It was a warm day and guests also made good use of the stunning outside areas of the hotel. I also had family from abroad staying overnight in the hotel who said their stay was excellent. Thanks again guys, I really can't thank you enough.”

“I recently just put two of my cats in at Woodbine. I can honestly say they were amazing. I got update pictures while I was away on holiday and the staff treated my two cats so well. One of my cats is very skittish and on one of the updates she was letting staff stroke her and even enjoying a licky mat! They took such good care and at drop off the reception staff were very smiley and polite. Amazing place and I will be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Been using here for about 3 years now about 2/3 times a year for my French bulldog and cat, they are looked after really well and come home happy and content, the staff and very friendly and care very much for the welfare of the animals, prices are very reasonable, would definitely recommend.”

“Came here with my 2 dogs a couple of weeks ago and loved it. It had been raining quite heavily all week but the field drainage was great, there were zero mud pools (which my boy is guaranteed to find and roll in). It's set far back from the road and is quiet and peaceful, securely fenced, clean and well maintained. The dogs had a good run and enjoyed the unmown meadow parts of the field. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to take your dog/s for some safe off leash exercise.”

“Ed has been walking our dog Indie since we first brought her home 6 months ago and we know that she is always in safe hands. It was clear from our first meet and greet with Ed that he knew a lot about dogs and that he really cared for them...he scooped tiny Indie up and she sat with him the whole time he was here. We get pics of her running around and socialising with other dogs having fun. When we get home we can tell by how calm she is that shes had a great time.”

“Eleanor was absolutely fantastic when our hamster Autumn stayed for nearly 4 weeks. I was worried I wouldn't find somebody who would spend time with Autumn as a lot of places just feed hamsters and don't bother with them but Eleanor and her daughter were fantastic. I received pictures and updates throughout her stay and felt so at ease I didn't worry once as I knew she was in the right place. If you want your pet to be spoilt and treated like one of their own this is definitely the place to take them!”

“This will be the third time that I have left my cat, Bailey at Acorn. I thoroughly recommend them. They are very accommodating as I can't always book in advance. The pens are exceptionally clean and have heated shelves. The food is high standard even sardines if you cat likes them. And Jordan is amazing! She loves and fusses over every cat. Bailey always comes back looking better than when he went in! Lol. Thank you so much Acorn xx”

“Both my fur babies were groomed by Lisa today, they are getting on in age and one of then is very nervous, the other can be very demanding and willful. They immediately took to her, they could obviously sense she's a dog lover. They came home so happy and looking beautiful and smelling beautiful too They will definitely be going to Lisa again and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs their dogs grooming to a high standard Many thanks to you Lisa”

“I went to Paddy Wags dog grooming for the first time with my elderly dog, Charlie. Karen was excellent, so kind to him and did a great groom. I would definately recommend this grooming salon and will be going again soon”

“Great shop which sells a wide variety of things at a very reasonable price. It is well layed out, easy to find what you're looking for, but if you can't find an item, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's usually enough checkouts open that you don't have to spend too long waiting either. Very easy to access by foot, public transport or car (with ample parking)”

“Took my old Shih Tzu Teddy to Upholland on Friday morning , I honestly thought he was a gonner he got ill and deteriorated so fast in a few hours. We saw a tall blonde Irish vet she was brilliant, straight forward and advised us to admit him for a drip, bloods and antibiotics which we did. I picked Ted up at 5.30 and although still very poorly he had improved so much, now two days on he is brighter, happier and eating and drinking. The vet nurse and receptionist were also great and a pleasure to deal with. When you are anxious and worried it’s so important when the staff are kind. I’ve wrote this review because I had a bad experience a few years ago and emailed Austin the then owner about it, we stayed with the practice but only saw Austin after it. My Yorkie Rosie was being admitted for dental work, the vet nurse who dealt with us was horrible, really nasty and spoke down to me like I was beneath her, I felt guilty all day knowing she was caring for my dog, could go on, but the upshot is she is no longer there, don’t think I was one with a bad experience of her.”

“It was a lovely visit- we booked for a friends surprise 50th birthday which was unfortunately cancelled, but we managed to rearrange booking dates so that the stay coincided with my wife's birthday. Our first visit to Miller and Carter and we thought the rooms were very nice - everything we needed and warm and clean. Our first meal at M&C too, and it was delicious. I especially loved the onion bread! Breakfast was fabulous. Oh the staff were - without exception - really friendly and helpful”

“I have used these groomers in the past for my friends XL bully, they are very experienced and he loved being there, when we picked him up, he was fresh and pretty. I walk past the shop atleast once a week to show my son the dogs hoping I’ll catch one that has just been groomed and ready to be picked up, from what I’ve observed every dog is treated like royalty.”

As I was browsing perfumes ahead of my upcoming holiday, (duty free). I was greeted by a young gentleman named Finley. Although I had no intention of making a purchase that day, Finley’s enthusiasm and professionalism left a lasting impression. Finley demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge about the entire YSL Libre perfume range. Despite my initial uncertainty, he expertly guided me through the options, explaining the unique characteristics of the Libre collection and even the newly released "Flames & Roses" fragrance. I was particularly struck by his ability to convey his passion and understanding and indepth knowledge of the products, especially considering his young age of just 16. Having come from a cold sales background myself, I am well aware of the value of genuine customer engagement. It is rare to find someone so skilled at building rapport with customers, and even rarer to encounter someone with such natural charisma and character. Finley’s approach was warm, informative, and never felt pushy he made the entire experience enjoyable. Thanks to his thoughtful guidance, I ended up purchasing a £105 fragrance. I left the store feeling satisfied and confident in my decision, which is a testament to Finley’s ability to make a sale without exerting any pressure. I would like to commend Boots for hiring such a rare talent. People like Finley are a true asset to your team, and I am certain he will continue to thrive in any future customer-facing roles. “We've had the best stay in the stables inn. We went for my sons 14th birthday and i have to say the staff went above and beyond decorated the room for him and were so lovely. Comfy beds and clean rooms couldn't ask for more they went above and beyond even buying him a birthday cake I am so greafgul. You made our stay in Liverpool thank you so much.”

“Excellent parking, safe and well managed, easy access to store and town centre too. Useful concession inside with Timpsons for key cutting etc, as you go into store. There is toilet facility inside store and excellent pharmacy, plus cafe if you are hungry. Friendly staff in store and easy to navigate top quality fresh food and range of products like milk, bread and eggs.”

“Our little Volpino Italiano rescue is absolutely terrified of fireworks. This time of year we usually find her panting and shaking in the corner of the room at the first sound of one. This year we decided to try the 'Stress Less' tablets to see if this would make a difference. We crushed one in with her food (as she is awful at taking tablets) and within 20 minutes she is relaxed and able to sleep through the loudest of bangs. They 100% work and I will never not have these in my possession.”
