“I called the vet on Saturday late afternoon and was offered an appointment just an hour later at 6pm. With our cat, Rupert, clearly down in the dumps, diagnosis was difficult without any specific symptoms. Very sympathetic handling (without a sedative) enabled a physical examination and the taking of a blood test but there was nothing abnormal showing but by then I had remembered that he had destroyed an old toy full pf catnip about five days previously. An X-ray was then taken and signs of the toy contents were found, Medicines were injected appropriately. On return home, Rupert seems like he is back to normal already. Eating, walking around, clearly happy again. Extraordinary. Thank you to the whole team for the care and the competence shown and for the cup of tea you gave me as well.”
“The treatment I’ve always had for my dog has been first class. All the staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and he especially enjoys the gravy bones! Would highly recommend to any pet owner.”
“Thankyou so much to all the staff at Clover Street Vets. Geno,s experience from day one was exceptional. Geno is a very nervous dog and was treated with such care. When going back for his aftercare he wagged his tail and went through the door not problem. Had even had a cuddle with the vet. I was a little worried that the care would be reflected in the cost, but after reading the reviews I thouht I wuld give it a go. Wonderful staff very caring, great aftercare, great price and I could park. What more could I ask for. Thankyou”
“Really great vet!!! I LOVE MY LITTLE ONE LIKE FURRY BABY!! They always understand my emotions and say I am her mum always say and address me as Jovina's mum. They are very caring the way they look after my baby I can trust them blindly. Thank you Team!!!”
“Such a lovely vets! They have been seeing my Cat Bella since she was a kitten, they were brilliant with her from the day we first took her there and so caring. Bella was unfortunately given to me at 6 weeks old and wasn’t the healthiest but they brought her back to life and checked up on her with phone calls to see how she was. They really are so caring and brilliant with the animals in their care. I couldn’t recommend enough”
“What a fantastic vets , very friendly. The vet Amanda was brilliant and extremely helpful, will have a much happier Akita !”
“Beautiful people and very friendly. My african grey had her beak trimmed today for the first time and was amazed how really will they handle her. Would definitely recommend.”
“Very welcoming, professional, and helpful.”
“I have been with Medivet Roehampton from the very beginning as well as the previous practice on the same site. Recently I took my new rescue cat Mimi in for her vaccinations and health check. I received excellent service from the Vet. It was very reasonably priced too. The reception staff too are great. Very helpful, professional and genuinely nice. I would not take my pets anywhere else.”
“By far the best experience I have ever had with a veterinary team. They care as much about our animals as we do! Through ups and downs, David and his team support has been unwavering. We can’t thank them enough for their dedication.”
“I have been bringing my very old tortoise to CJ Hall for some years now - the first visit was for a problem caused by care elsewhere. This was resolved very well and he now comes back for a holiday (boarding) every year…we will not be going anywhere else for his care!”
“I can’t recommend Village Vet in Chiswick enough! My dog, Cookie, has always been exceptionally well cared for by the entire team. After having some truly awful experiences with other clinics in the past, finding Village Vet has been a blessing. From the friendly reception staff to the dedicated nurses, and especially the amazing Rania, I have complete trust in their love and care for my furry baby. Even after moving away from Chiswick, I continue to bring Cookie back for any issues, no matter how “minor” I might think they are. Don’t be swayed by some of the fancier clinics that seem more focused on your wallet than on genuine care. Village Pet truly stands out for their compassion and commitment to your pet’s well-being. Thank you, Village Vet, for everything you do!”
“I brought my pets to Norwood Road Veterinary Surgery for several years before moving away from the area. The team provided consistent, quality care for both my animals. The staff was professional and showed genuine concern for my pets' wellbeing during each visit. Though I've had to switch to a vet closer to my new home, I appreciate the good care they provided throughout our time with them. Would recommend to pet owners in the area.”
“I was recommended by a friend about this Vets. My pet cat passed and I brought her in to be cremated. I met a lovely lady at the front desk and before I could say anything I bust into tears. The lovely lady who was the vet took me to a room and explained the reason as to why my cat passed. She was so lovely and really listened to what I had to say and really looked after me. I just want to say a big thank you to you all. If I ever decide to get another pet, I will only bring them here. Such kind and lovely people. Thank you again xxx”
“My cat has only been with this vet for a week and a half and the treatment and care she has gotten from the team has been nothing short of amazing. I cant recommend them enough and would give them more than 5 stars if I could!”
“This Vet practice was recommended to us by a well respected local Dog training company and they have exceeded our expectations, the staff are excellent, professional and super friendly. Patrick & Dan are superb vets demonstrating their training and experience with a caring attitude. We rescued 2 elderly Jack Russell cross breeds ,who have health issues and they have received 5 star treatment at a fair price ,I have no hesitation in recommending these vets .”
“We use riverside vets for a majority of the animals under our rescues care. They also serve and help other rescues in the area. No matter how big or small, nice or angry our animals are it isn’t at all a worry for this lovely team. They treat every animal with the care and love they deserve. It’s a shame to see the BBC slandering vets around costs. Not all of them charge a fortune, every vet practice is different. Would highly recommend this team. Affordable, caring and always go the extra mile. Thank you team, from all of us and the cats here at cat lady”
“Sadly had to put our beloved cat Delia down after 17 amazing years. The team were so caring and especially Ruth as it was a horrible decision to make, but best for the animal. I cannot say enough good things about them as it genuinely feels like they put the animal welfare first above all else which is refreshing. Thank you.”
“We honestly can’t thank the team at Aurua enough for everything they did for our dog, Leo. From the very first consultation to the all-clear after his surgery, their care, communication, and kindness were faultless. Leo’s Journey: Leo is our 4-year-old Chug, and earlier this year, we discovered a lump on his prepuce. It turned out to be a cutaneous mast cell tumour. Understandably, we were worried, but once we were referred to Aurua, we felt confident we were in the right hands. Surgery & Timeline: The whole process moved quickly and smoothly. We had an oncology consultation on 12th March, and Leo had surgery to remove the tumour on 21st March. Everything went well, and he came home the same day. We went back for a follow-up and stitch removal on 11th April, and the recovery since has been brilliant no sign of the tumour returning, and Leo is totally back to himself. • 1st Feb: Initial diagnosis • 26th Feb: Fine Needle Aspiration • 12th March: Oncology consultation • 21st March: Surgery • 11th April: Follow-up & stitch removal • Now: Full recovery and no further issues Communication & Care: Every single person we dealt with at Aurua was lovely kind to Leo, and kind to us. He gets a bit nervous in clinical settings, but they were gentle, calm, and reassuring the whole way through. They kept us updated at every stage and always explained things clearly, without being overly clinical. We felt genuinely cared for. Cost & Insurance: We were quoted £5,000 to £6,000. The total bill for Leo’s treatment was £5,985.21. Our insurance (Animal Friends) covered £2,000 of that for the tumour, with a £99 excess. Aurua were brilliant in helping us handle the claims process, it was all clearly explained, and there were no surprises. Outcome:We’re so relieved to say that Leo is now cancer-free. He’s back to bouncing around the house and being his cheeky self. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a vet who’ll treat your pet like their own, keep you informed, and go the extra mile, Aurua is absolutely the place. They were amazing with Leo, and we’ll always be grateful for the care they gave him — and us.”
“Beech house Vet goes above and beyond for your pet and owner. The reception team and the vets are so kind, caring and professional. Everything is explained so well and your pet is particularly well cared for.”
“We have been with Walton Road Veterinary Centre for a while now. Our recent visit was incredibly reassuring, Yvonne saw us straight away as we have a senior cat and he was displaying some distressing symptoms. I'm pleased to say he's back to his usual self now. Having been registered with a local vet prior and having a hard sell experience I can honestly say the difference is night and day, Yvonne is genuinely more concerned for the animals wellbeing so I would highly recommend.”
“Great veterinary surgery, lovely helpful staff and they care about your pets as much as you do...”
“Superb facilities and knowledgeable professional staff. Lucky to have this surgery in our vicinity.”
“I can recommend Arc Vet Centre with great confidence to anybody living in north London, they will do an amazing job however small or big your dog’s need. Our Flakey, had developed some mammary lumps and we took her for a surgery, the doctors were very prompt to set up the surgery and did an amazing job. Flakey is now resting and recovering and we can’t wait to see her being springy and sprite as usual.”
“My local vet it’s a friendly and safe place for my cats. Vets changed often which is a shame but they are all very knowledgeable. Defo recommend Medivet Finsbury Park branch! Reception staff it’s the best- always trying to book in when it suits me!”
“Needed an emergency visit 20 mins before closing. Jordan and his assistant met me at the door and were happy to go past closing time to ensure they got the toxins out of my dogs stomach. Jordan’s manner is so reassuring and calming for both me and Hutch. They have a wonderful team in all the staff at village vet Ealing. Just what you need in a crisis. Thanks again!”
“Got my little Suki spayed last week Friday. I'm so glad I came across this clinic by chance online. All the staff were very friendly and professional, smiles everywhere. I couldn't be happier with how everything went. I was really worried how she would heal or how she would be after her operation and she was totally fine, has healed so well and now have finally taken off the little kitten vest and she couldn't be any happier and healthier. I definitely recommend their clinic. Although it's a charity and it's free I made a small payment towards the surgery as its well deserved. I got a call from the clinic a week after Suki's surgery to check up on her and to see how she was healing and if I had any concerns or questions. Great service ”
“Thank you for making Luna’s first experience at the vet so easy. Doctor Oli was very friendly and patient with my kitten, I really liked the fact that he asked all the important questions showing that he cares about his job and animals.”
“I rang today as I’m dog was in a lot of pain…. Nadia was amazing so helpful and kind. They manage to get the grass seed out of Rio ear ……. Nadia was so attentive the vet I think was Daniel was lovely to. You can get nervous when going to the vets because you worry will they say you need stuff that you don’t etc, but wasn’t the case here at all didn’t feel rushed took there time talked me through foods etc for Rio. Definitely my vets now. Nadia thank you again you was brilliant”
“A wonderful practice who really look after the animals. The reception staff are welcoming to people and pets, and helpful and professional in answering any questions. When I first came in, my dog Galahad, who has a skin condition, was scratching uncontrollably and had infections in his ears and paws. Rhia the vet patiently treated him until it was all under control and he is now completely free of his former discomfort, and she is helping my other dog, Arabella to live happily in her old age. I brought in my third dog, Lola, with a suspected poisoning, and Jemima the vet treated her effectively and did a thorough examination to make sure it was safe for her to go home. Galahad clearly enjoys his visits, as last time I brought him with me to drop off a sample at reception, he didn't want to leave!”
