“Having recently had to say goodbye to our 12 year old Northern Inuit, I wanted to add to my old, stars-only review. He was with Spring Lodge from the age of 12 weeks, and the service provided throughout has been second to none. He was a complicated soul, with many issues through his life, and a number of surgeries during which he was cared for in an exemplary manner. Nobody was ever intimidated by his size and appearance which was something we faced a lot in the "real world", even if he was affectionately nicknamed "The Beast" by Neil! The support staff are magnificent.”

One thing you could improve: do NOT ask me to call back at 8 am tomorrow for an appointment! I am not phoning my GP practice – other vets are available.”

“While I understand Mich Sabalo’s concern about being turned down for help one must also understand that vet costs are not cheap and many pensioners and people on benefits have pets and the cost is high in maintaining these pets There are homeless who for the life of me have pets and i cannot understand why they would when they themselves cannot maintain themselves I have been in the same boat ⛴️ frustrated when a charity would not help but now that i help a disabled friend with his pet i understand where the poor Blue Cross Stands in helping people who really cannot afford it. There HR cost must be high as well as Staff have to get paid and some vets do volunteer work after hrs So they do an excellent job have great personnel who do a great job I cannot falter them in anyway”

The receptionist was nice and the Vet was brilliant and very sympathetic. She made my family feel included, gave us time with him both during and the after he went to sleep. “Lily, a 2.5 year old greyhound was admitted to Wylies a few weeks ago. She was extremely poorly and had pneumonia. She was in critical care for 3 nights. The care she received was first class. It is honestly down to the hard work of the vet team that she is here today with me. I was so impressed with the care she received, I have moved my other 3 greyhounds to Wylies. A huge thank you to Anna, Gemma and Lewis who was amazing with Lily. Also, thank you to the reception team who were always so kind to me every single time I visited and was upset. You are all fabulous and I will be forever grateful to you for saving Lily and also for the kindness you showed me xx”

They even exceeded my expectations with her dental pre-op clean.
