“I’m very gratefull to the girls that worked so hard to look after my bambino amongst many other cats. Everything was organised well and the pens where tidy and clean at all times. I was kept up to date with how my bambino was which put my mind at ease. I would certainly use this cat boarding lodge again if I ever needed a safe place for my cat xx”

“Hidden gem If your anything like me, I tend to type into google ‘hidden gems’ then the area when looking for places to eat. Well this is a hidden gem, probably known to the Bayford community and now me. I drive past the bakers arms twice a day. Each time I do, something else catches my eye and I think to myself, I have to come here. So, today I was driving home from work and thought let me see what the name is. As I carried on home I thought to myself i’m coming back here tonight. Its now or never. I got home, got changed and grabbed my partner and left for the Bakers Arms. I had not googled this place or looked it up online, i just knew the name and location. All I can say is wow! As soon as we walked i we where greed so kindly by Martin and walked around to the dining room. The dining room was cosy, very well presented and clean. We both had the lasagne and it was amazing. The flavours burst in your mouth and where lasting, even the chips we ordered on the side where perfectly crisp. Both my partner and I rate our food out of 10 at home and in restaurants I can say i have never got past a 7.5. Today was the the first time I have ever heard him say a meal is a 10 and then change it to an 11. From hospitality, location and food, the Bakers Arms is a must visit. It should be in the class of a hidden gem. Im glad i followed my instincts today and got experience their venue. Thank you to both Martin and Bev for being a great host and providing impeccable food. My Partner is still talking about the lasagne now so thank you for making a lasting impression on him. We look forward to visiting again very soon. All the best Georgina and Charlie”

“Second time staying here in 2025. It’s a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and modern with the required facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different options. The location is super convenient for most tourist attractions. The Waterloo station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.”

“Given it's location it is very quiet and the bed was super. So the main criteria of a good night's sleep was achieved. Good connections via Limehouse DLR and local buses. The yurt cafe is very good and does light meals and drinks during the he day. The breakfast is very good and was included in the price. Its continental rather than a fry up - but very nice. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again. Nice NOT to have a TV in the room”

“This place is absolutely perfect! Our vrbo got cancelled on the day we arrived in London and thankfully Sanctum came up at the last minute at a reasonable price and had a lot to offer. The room was bright and spacious with a full kitchen and there was groceries right around the corner and a train across the street.”

“Our two cats were very well cared for at Treetops. The staff are friendly and efficient, and seem to care about the cats they're looking after. On dropping ours off I saw where they were going to be for the week and I was impressed that it was spotlessly clean. A great local cattery.”

“We have visited here many times, simply because of the location, the food, the pub itself and the great service. Almost every time we visit, we are served by the lovely Angela. She always remembers us and greets us with a friendly smile. She has a wonderful sense of humour and always makes our visit a pleasure along with her lovely customer service. “We chose to stay here for a weekend in the ready tents. The glamping tents were well equipped with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc. It also had bunk beds and a double bed perfect for family of 4 or 5. The sleeping areas were great with blackout sides for a good night's sleep. The site had very clean washing facilities and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will easily be coming back again for another weekend!”

“Great place to live, it has a supermarket (Lidl), a 24/7 gym (subscription based), tool shop, Starbucks etc around it. Lush gardens, lots of greenery, and 8minutes walk to Belvedere train station.”

“Great spot to be in Victoria London with lovely eateries, sport restaurants and meeting places. Kudos to working together. They need to make the pedestrians passage more free and not cluttered and difficult for pedestrians to get through without excusing other users. It was made wide open for users easy access not for businesses to extend themselves and block free movement for customers. Not rocket science!”

“Very quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsbury’s, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. “Wow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I can’t express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that he’d been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. I’m so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. I’m already looking forward to booking again for next year!
