“My experience has been really great since joining the Central Uxbridge Surgery. The doctors and the team have been so helpful. Christina, in particular, has been such a friendly face and has always been so welcoming and easy to talk to. She has always listened and taken on any concerns or queries I have had and has always tried her best to find a resolve. She’s a gem and a real asset to the team! Dr. A Abas has been an incredible GP, he was the first doctor I had seen since joining the surgery and his calm, polite and warm nature really helped me feel at ease. He was also very thorough and proactive in his assistance to getting my medical issues checked and diagnosed. He was great at explaining all the information and was very friendly and helpful.”

“Really good place. Was easy to get to by 25 Bus.Went today (9/02/2020). For my back scan. Had my appointment at 9:30AM. Reached there by 8:45AM. Was seen at 9AM. Was given a patient safety questionnaire filled out the questions that were relevant to me. Then was told by the receptionist to take the questionnaire down to the Lower MRI room. From there only waited around 5 minutes where I was told by the radiographer to change into gown provided. Kept my valuables in the locker provided. Waited around 5 min to enter into the MRI control room where I was weighed. Was asked questions from the questionnaire. Was given full details of what to expect. Was given reassurance. I did get a bit scared at first as it felt like you are laying down in a coffin. They do give you a buzzer if you feel very scared. My results will be sent off to my GP within a week.”

Last time I collected here they told me that this branch was closing and I would have to get me next batch of medicine from the one in Chimes which is always super busy! Plus, I can order the essentials online and pick them up with zero fuss, which is the definition of peak human evolution. The staff at the till are consistently delightful, friendly, and efficient. They are truly the best of us. They also, without fail, ask me the one question for which I have no good answer: "Do you have a Boots card?" It is a lovely tradition, like a small, polite toll I must pay to leave with my deodorant. Five stars for convenience, but deduct ten points from my non existent loyalty balance for failing the loyalty test every time.”

He could see that I was scared when I asked him to just take the tooth out, it has given me trouble for half of my life and I have always been scared to have the tooth removed but today I just wanted it out and the pain it causes me gone. Well I felt nothing and I'm so relieved that it is now gone thanx to Mr Vikas Bakshi he put me at ease and the the procedure was over from start to finish in 15 minutes, I can't recommend him enough he has changed my life by helping today so thankyou very much Vikas!”

The pool might be a bit old and dated, but it’s always pretty clean, and everyone there is super friendly. My swimming teacher, Ileana, is honestly the best! I actually go there just because I enjoy her lessons so much. She makes every class fun and always mixes things up with diving, jumping, and different swimming styles to keep us excited. Thanks so much for giving me confidence in the water and for making learning to swim such a fun experience!”
