“This restaurant was really nice we went on a Wednesday (5th November) so wasn't overly crowded. The server for our table was exceptional, they were really friendly, enthusiastic and gave good inside to the dishes. I had spicy chicken thighs and BBQ burger with chips, both dishes were will presented and very tasty. The beer on tap was Estrella which is a good good quality beer.”

I was struggling to find a place that could accommodate 11 people last minute on Sunday. We were extremely happy when they accepted our booking. We had a great time, food was nice. “I honestly don't know what people are moaning about. We pulled up on the boat. Free of charge And were greeted with great hospitality. We had the best cider and food was delicious the fish and chips was the best ever fish was nice and thick. Chips were awesome cooked perfectly home made tarter sauce hot. Butter to melt over extra crusty bread. My cheese and chicken leak pie was hand made cooked in an oven skillet pan , beautiful and ate outside before falling asleep on the boat woke up had cappachino and cooked breakfast. Claiton was lovely my cappachino was taken to a sunny table in the garden. Best experience ever.”

“We had a wonderful lunch at the Spinney Hill. Our table had been pre-booked for 8 guests and on arrival we were welcomed at the bar then shown to our reserved tables. Everywhere was clean. The menu chosen was the senior menu which offered a great choice and excellent value for money. Food service was speedy, attentative and all of the guests enjoyed their meal. “Booked a table for 6, seated promptly, extremely busy time of the day and every table full, they still managed to serve quickly at the carvery station with lots of choice and replaced anything that was running low immediately, the atmosphere was very pleasant, family dining at its best, the food is fresh and filling, the cake after was delicious but no way we could eat it in 1 go. Its huge but from start to finish a real pleasure. And the staff are speedy. Friendly and efficient”

“We came to Bar + Block Steakhouse in Milton Keynes for my daughter’s birthday and had a great experience. The food was spot on and cooked perfectly, with the truffle mac and cheese being especially good – rich, creamy, and full of flavour. Our waitress, liesa, was absolutely lovely – friendly, attentive, and really made the occasion feel special, and the rest of the team were very catering and accommodating throughout. Although it was fairly quiet during our visit, it created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which we really enjoyed. A lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.”

“I recently visited with family, and I must say we really enjoyed the food, ambience, and service. One of the waiters was so helpful that he even gave us a parking spot at the back of the restaurant. As if the food and service weren't good enough, when we headed back to get our vehicle, they even alerted us that we dropped a 20-pound note and handed it back. How awesome is that?! We had the rib eye steak, 5 portion wings (buffalo was excellent!), philly cheese steak sandwich, and potato cheese balls. For the sides, we had the spicy rice and fries.
