“I recently arranged a work Christmas meal for a large group of staff, and the entire experience was exceptional. The meal was absolutely stunning, and the service was flawless. Every member of the team was polite, courteous and professional throughout. A special thanks to Sam, the General Manager, who ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I’d also like to highlight the brilliant idea of using place cards with names and personal menu choices — this made the delivery of each dish incredibly efficient. “We had a small adult meal each £7.50 which comes with chips and side, peas etc. the small fish you get for that was quite big actually, and steak pie was a small slice. Chips were good normal chip shop chips nothing wrong with them. Fish was good. The steak pie was very packed with quality steak which made it's small size totally fine. Friendly staff and it's different that it's table service. Would be nice if they added the sides to the menu. Also, drinks were quite expensive.”

“Shout out to Amy C. She always makes our experience at zizzi very pleasant and comfortable. She keeps checking if we need anything, and she's fast. When I'm coming into the restaurant I scan the place looking for her hoping she's there coz she's very welcoming and treats everyone equally. I'm saying that because I have a bad experience with another old lady at this restaurant, and when I see her I leave immediately because she is discriminating and I had a few bad experiences with her. Apart from that, your food is amazing and we tried many places but we always regret cheating on zizzi. My favourite is pinoli pizza and fonduta. Your desserts are also brilliant. Best of luck.”

“My grandads favourite restaurant, the daal palak and paneer palak are both amazing but the true stand out is definitely the parottas. Flaky, buttery and steaming hot they are a must have. My grandad always has the elms chicken, which changes every so slightly each time he orders it, a good sign that everything is made fresh and from scratch. Staff are friendly and polite, creating a homey atmosphere, a little gem hidden in Retford. Love this place!”

“Wow is the first word that pops in my head, I came for my 6 year anniversary for the first time last night. The entrance is stunning, the restraunt itself is beautiful. The service we received I have to say was the best I've ever had in Sheffield the staff were so polite, friendly and helpful Now the food, this is hands down the best Thai I have ever eaten the flavors are incredible the portion sizes perfect and the presentation is stunning, each dish hot and full of flavor, I had a mock tail which was also amazing. I would recommend to anyone and will be returning. Advise booking to ensure you get a table.”

“We have just enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings served by friendly staff. I'm pretty certain we didn't need to eat a variety of sandwiches scotch egg, quiche, scones with jam and clotted cream and three types of cake but it was so good we couldn't resist. “If I were you I'd be very suspicious of poor reviews for this place. Have been about half a dozen times in the last year and the food is REALLY good. The buffet is exceptional for quality & choice. And I grew up in Bradford where the quality is mostly high across the board as the locals demand it. This place is up there but don't whinge about it being spicy - it's real Asian food made freshly with real spices!!!”

“What a little treasure in Bakewell! Lovely homemade and hearty Italian food in a cute place served by the most delightful couple. The food is delicious and very reasonable with well-sized portions (available in three size options too!) We ordered the veggie and regular lasagna, two pizzas, spaghetti Bolognese, sandwich and two starters. Everything was really tasty and the pesto swirls we ordered for starters were definitely our favourite. A must visit if you’re around in Bakewell or the Peak District area.”

“Had our first pizzas from here last night, ordered over the phone to a lady that was very friendly and professional. The Pizza came in a timely manner from a friendly delivery driver who was able to take payment using a card machine which was so helpful. The food itself was hot which makes a nice change as other pizza vendors in the area range from warm to outright cold, so extra star for that. My pizza was tasty and the rest of the family enjoyed there's as well. The garlic bread was especially delicious. All in all I think we have found our new regular pizza takeaway.”

“This restaurant is a really good place to eat if you have young children. I won't ruin the surprise but I will tell you that there are events that occur whilst you eat your meal around the decor of the restaurant that will keep the kids entertained. The staff were so friendly and the food was well cooked. The prices were a little bit "Theme Parky" but that's expected given the venue its situated at. All in all a good place to eat for the experience.”
