“Friendly and attentive staff, amazing tasting food and not hard to get to. Would highly recommend. We ordered: Starters - Tzakziki, Hummus (both come with traditional Iranian bread) & Dolmeh Mains - Chenjeh (with skin on fries to share) & Spring Chicken (with Zeresk Polo Rice to share) Recommend saving some of the dips from the starter to enjoy with your mains! We went just after Sheffield Wednesday finished their game (it is next to Hillsborough Stadium), but found no issue with transport as it is close to the tram stop. Overall, a great experience!”

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. “This place is absolutely amazing. Every time I ring with a different request they deliver. If u want something different to the standard menu, just give them a bell. Seriously, it’s the best u can get delivered. Even if they are busy, if u need it quick they deliver and it’s always absolutely bang on. Never leave a review but they deserve a good ‘en”

“Went for Sunday lunch. I've been meaning to try it out and wasn't disappointed. I had the beef cheeks (special of the day) which were melt in the mouth. The portions are very generous with a separate boat of gravy to go with the mushroom and ale sauce it came with. The service was top notch and the beer (Thornbridge Jaipur) was just the right pint to go with the meal. My partner had the turkey roast with a glass of red which she really enjoyed. We will visit again. Can't recommend highly enough. I'd suggest phoning in advance since we had the choice of getting there in 10 or waiting until after 3 to eat.”

“first time visit, five of us arrived 1pm on wednesday, the pub almost empty. the menu is comprehensive and sone special offer two meals for £16 and £12. good setvices and the meals we ordered were delicious. the baguette was fresh and soft. meals were in generous portion. they will change ownership in two weeks. hope the new owner keep up the good standards.”

“The food here is so fresh and tasty. Really nice food. We went pretty late on so just another group with us. We couldn't really get the real ambience of the restaurant. With it being a quaint size then I can imagine the atmosphere being nice and romantic with wonderful Greek music playing in the background. The prices are very reasonable and the portions generous in my opinion. The owners are very friendly. The husband is very kind and approachable. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you enjoy trading Greek food and run by Grecians. I don't think you will be disappointed if you visit for a lovely romantic evening meal.”

“First Breakfast visit , WOW , what a fantastic welcome from every single member of staff on duty 1/11/25 , we came into contact with including chef , it was very obvious it’s a lovely place to work , everyone presented as enjoying work , very friendly, informative , helpful and engaging , the restaurant was lovely and clean , what a lovely cooked breakfast, I had 2 today , the continental choice was lovely and the choice of drinks available puts any other chain to shame . We will definitely be back and we are letting all our friends know we loved our visit. I do hope we won’t be disappointed in future visits, but somehow I don’t think so , well done everyone”

“I used to visit The Grind Café at Kelham Island regularly three years ago, especially for their Pancake of the Week, which I enjoyed twice a month without fail. However, I stopped going after they changed chefs—unfortunately, the pancakes were no longer as delicious, and I left feeling disappointed. This year, I was thinking that the same chef might have moved to a café in Crookes, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived, I was told the chef had left and they no longer served Pancake of the Week. I mentioned how disappointed I was, and to my surprise, the waitress kindly asked the new chef if they could make one specially for me. To my delight, the pancake was absolutely delicious—The Grind Café has truly returned to its best. Not only was the pancake top quality again, but the rest of the food was also excellent. I sincerely hope the management continues to support great chefs like the current one and considers hiring more staff. It’s a lovely café, and with the right team, it can keep delighting more customers in Sheffield.”
