“Took the godchildren out for an afternoon, really nice place to visit and play”
“The gym is on the smaller side compared to many other mainstream gyms, which means you may not find all of the machines you'd like to use here. Classes are very good. Gym generally busy at usual peak times but relatively quiet otherwise. Although it is a mixed gender gym, I don't find this to be an issue, unless it is really busy. Would benefit from free lockers beings as the membership is just as high as other well equipped gyms.”
“A lovely area for babies in the soft play. Staff are good at getting older children to leave the baby / toddler area if they are causing a nuisance”
“I had a week revive spa here which included exfoliating salt scrub, massage and use of the facilities. Sandy was excellent applying the perfect massage pressure with a really nice technique. The massage cabins and changing rooms were amazing. The pool and the jacuzzi were good with comfortable lounge chairs.”
“Had lunch sitting on the side of the canal, the water level was low enough to hang my feet over the edge without getting wet. It's a nice escape from the surrounding roads.”
“Fantastic location for photography...try going either for sunrise or sunset...”
“A nice relaxing place to visit, the gradual improvements undertaken by the volunteers are making a difference. From the pond to the playground to the replanted orchard there is something for all the family”
“Only go to use the pool. Book in advance and you're all good. With a toddler though I recommend booking for the family pool...main pool is too cold when they're not very active.”
“Such a lovely place! The pool is always clean, warm, and so nice to swim in. All the facilities are great:the showers, changing rooms, everything is well looked after. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. Especially Elena, she’s amazing! So kind, welcoming, and always there if you need anything. She really makes the place feel special.I always enjoy coming here. It’s such a nice and relaxing spot!”
“Very nice updated facility with a world class swimming pool. Good place for mums with kids in swimming lessons as there is a café with refreshments. Also available are toilets that don’t require entrance purchase. I walk my dogs on the golf course often and am grateful to have facilities that I don’t have to share with my canines! There looks to be a good gym & great free parking. Well worth a visit.”
“Popular leisure centre, with 2 swimming pools, a climbing wall, children's indoor play are, outdoor al weather football 5 a side football pitches, and a café. At busy times, parking can be a challenge.”
“The gym is very clean , (but there are a few that still don’t use a coth to clean down) it has everything i need to work out, the staff are Pleasant and helpful”
“Beautiful park I have previously walked through the park on a couple of occasions but today there was a bug fair and festival type thing going on so I went over to have a look and spent the best part of the day here had a great time.”
“First time I have been here for the ladies swim. It was a lovely experience. For ladies changing and showers go in to the ladies group entrance. This is located on your left as you enter the changing room. This leads to a separate entrance to the instructor pool which is private for ladies only at certain times of the week. The showers were lovely and hot. Bring £1 for the lockers Haven’t tried the sauna yet but I know it’s on the top floor so you have to get dressed and then get the lift or stairs up after your swim.”
“This place is a little heaven. Really lovley staff who cannot do enough for you & always professional. A superb 33m pool . I lane swim there most days and yes the building is from the 1930s & is showing its age but arent we all but it will be much missed by the many regulars who visit when the Aquatic Centre opens I can't recommend the place enough.”
“Ginger warrior and Mr Simon gave me the best welcome I ever had walking into a serviced establishment. Keep up the hard work Paul and Simon. Top draw”
“Missing some equipment and you have to wait for some machines and benches (need more benches). Lots of cardio machines. Lovely staff. Can get my workout in. Can’t complain much for the price I’m paying. Great spot.”
“To be clear, it's in Dartmouth Park, so doesn't have the usual park facilities itself, but Dartmouth Park does. The garden is a series of raised beds designed for the pleasure of everyone, but especially people with sensory impairments. The planting is always lovely, all four seasons are brought to life. It's particularly lovely now, but there's always some new plant or design ideas you didn't see last time.”
“Friendly and inclusive club with opportunities to socialise as well as compete to the highest levels. Highly recommended”
“Went here for child's diamond swim academy lessons. Easy access lots if parking good facilities”
“Really nice reserve. Perfect for walks and day out”
“Visited this park in search of their famous cows. They weren't too difficult to find, if anything, they found me. It's a lovely sight and a beautiful luscious place to sit and ponder by the pond, if you'll pardon the pun. It's allegedly the largest park in Europe and that maybe true as there's still a lot on uncharted territory that's begging to be charted.”
“I wanted to say a very big thanks to u Jo and the girls at the swimming class for supporting my daughter and encouraging her to push further to achieve her goal.. she has become a very confident swimmer and is very nervous and excited to start at the new swimming pool.. this challenge is a very good opportunity to develop my daughters swimming further.. i would definitely recommend this swimming school as it's small swimming pool and also has small classes.. x”
“The place where I learnt to swim and my nephews too. Many fond memories.”
“Nice place apart from beer cans and rubbish scattered around”
