βWe were surprised at how quiet it was. The food choices and quality of the lunches we had were excellent and great value. The service was immediate and very friendly. I am gluten free and they catered well for me. Lots of choice. The pub is lovely, in a great location and overall had a nice atmosphere. We would recommend it and especially for families as it had an excellent large and safe playground.β
βIt has now become a seriously good gym...we went to the new Pure Gym for 3 weeks ..showers never hot...only 6 spin bikes...(although they were much better than the very old ones at Parish)...at Β£28 per month including classes, swimming, off peak badminton you can't go wrong.β
βWow, where to start, staying over for two nights in Bristol and looking for somewhere good to eat and drink, on recommendation decided to pay a visit to The Sidings, and was not disappointed, friendly welcome from all, great atmosphere, great music, Exelent food and drink, all reasonably priced and all the food was very fresh, with great presentation and all home made and it certainly shows! So much so i decided to return for a second visit, also met the Chef Aaron as he conscientiously comes out to your table to make sure that everything is to your liking and has a passion for what he dose which is a pleasant surprise and something you don't always see nowadays, will definitely call again and gladly recommend, please keep up the great work.β
βHaven't been in many year, due to moving out of the city, but wow, Still made very welcome. The starters we had was delicious, pizza was incredible. The owner is very friendly with a great sense of humour. 5 stars. βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ
βThere are many CaffΓ¨ Nero branches in Bath, but I always go to this one. The staff are so friendly and well-trained here, and always make my oat milk mocha to a tee.β
βI LOVE this branch in Bath! The staff here are always so lovely, the atmosphere inside is so cosy and comfortable- whilst being clean and well-kept. The drinks here have always been well-made and I highly recommend a visit. It's in a stunning location too :)β
βReally huge but cost feeling Caffe Nero. The opening hours are fantastic and the decor is welcoming. Lovely kind staff, really amazing soya hot chocolate and ok vegan Christmas panini. Definitely recommend going to this Caffe Nero. Right next Bath spa and the bus station.β
βThe staff are progressively turning this once fine peaceful cafe into their own play area. Not somewhere any more for a quiet coffee , a read, and a respectful chat. Neros make a play on being a traditional coffee house. They were; this isnβt. Sad. Three days later. What a difference. Well done Tom. Endeavour to persevere.β
βVery clean Starbucks. One I didn't know existed. My daughter used it everyday at University. Large seating areas. Not crampt at all like some other coffee shops.β
βFantastic service, booked in advance paid a deposit for 10 of us. Food is as expected great bar food and beer and drink as expected, service was great and staff couldn't do enough for us ! All bar staff were legends but Amy went above and beyond ! Book in advance what a great bar.β
βWe had a friendly welcome, we upgraded when we got there as we wanted a bigger room as was staying there a few days. We was away for my husbands birthday( the room we changed from was immaculate, just upgraded to a suite) .. This is a beautiful building, the decor is slightly dated, it was very clean, the suite was huge, beautiful view, the breakfast was faultless, they ask you the day before what you would like, this worked out really well, as well as what was on the cooked menu there was a bowl of freshly prepared fruit to help yourselves, plenty of juices, cereals etc. I would recommend people staying as location is perfect, the staff are excellent and is very clean. Bus stop near the hotel if you wanted to bus into bath. I will definitely be returning there.β
βAttended the European Kempo championships here recently. It's a great venue, with great facilities and the centre was clean and well serviced. Just one little, little thing was it would have been great if the cafes were at full operation levels as it have a profitable spell for the centre. We had to go and get drinks and food so think they missed a trick. GREAT PLACEβ
βI've only ever used the post office in the shop, but the staff there are always cheerful and helpful. Good range of greetings cards too.β
βNice Spoons this one. Right in the centre of Chepstow. Only Minus was no parking at all. Was clean and tidy. And the place seemed friendly. Bar staff were quick and helpful. Drinks as usual were amazing value with loads of selection. Didnβt try the food but there seemed to be plenty of selection. All in all I would say if your on budget for a quick pint and some food, this is the place to head for.β
βReally nice staff, dark haired lady was very helpful and quick when I said I was in a rush! Thanks again!!β
βLove Morrisons as their bakery and butcher really good, can find cuts other supermarkets donβt stock - best times to visits weekdays as less busy within school hours, tills are quick and friendly.β
βWetherspoon is a natural go-to when looking for a quick breakfast or drink. I'd normally go to the one along Whiteladies Rd and Queen's Road and today, meeting up with a close friend visiting from Australia, was my very first visit to the Temple Quay branch. Not only was the food I ordered really good, but the service is tops. As it was my first time to order via app, I encountered an issue in my order and apologised for my mistake. The staff (and was it the manager?) So graciously resolved my issue... something which I will remember for a long time. Just wanted to thank those who took care of the boo-boo very professionally and without much fuss. To the management, my hats off to you and a huge THANK YOU.β
βFantastic food experienced there fish and chips Friday and absolutely wow shall definitely return service was prompt and all round very happy experienceβ
βLovely pub with big garden and lots of tables. Home cooked food and the landlord is friendly. Beautiful spot on the river to watch the boats go by. We were really surprised how quiet it was when we visited. Prices very good so we will definitely be back.β
βWe had a great experience at the restaurant! The girl behind the bar (her name was Leigh) was absolutely lovely β really friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. She had such a positive attitude and made the whole visit feel more personal and enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers. Thank you for the great service β she definitely deserves some recognition!β
βFantastic experience in here tonight. Served quickly and expertly by manager - Dave, I believe his name was - his team were much more proactive at tidying the pub tonight than I have seen in previous visits. Fantastic stuff! Keep it up!β
βConsistently wonderful service here - especially from Tom on a couple of occasions. Good value, well prepared food and comfortable, clean surroundings. Tom really paid attention to my allergy request and a few other things for my fussy child. Thank you :)β
βFantastic Customer Service! I ordered a burger but noticed the burgers donβt come with tomato (which I love!) so I asked the lady behind the bar if she could add some too my order and she did! Food was cheap Β£9-Β£12 ish, and was good, standard affordable pub grub! Did the job, very yummy. Football and rugby was being shown on the tv, so there was an atmosphere of enthusiastic fans.β
βI think one of the most famous places in Bristol. You canβt miss the incredible view and the great terrace that has. A beautiful place for every occasion and if you have to visit just one place, try this one for sureβ
βGood food , friendly stuff but because they been dressed up as normal people no apron or at least tag with the name was hard to recognise who is working there. Nice and clean place.β
βCame with wife 2 daughters the menu is now very limited but carman waitress bar staff was a credit to wetherspoons friendly professional helpfulβ
βI recently visited The Berkeley JD Wetherspoon in Bristol during the evening, and it was a calm and relaxed experience. When I arrived, the place was almost empty, which gave it a very laid-back atmosphere β quite different from how busy it can get during peak hours. The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of seating options, so itβs easy to find a comfortable spot whether youβre alone, with friends, or in a bigger group. The dΓ©cor and layout give it that typical Wetherspoon charm β nothing overly fancy, but pleasant and functional. The ambience was nice and relaxed, and the lighting and music made it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. The staff were casual but polite, and service was efficient. Food quality was as expected from Wetherspoon β affordable, straightforward, and consistent. Itβs not gourmet dining, but itβs good value for money and comes out quickly. One thing I really appreciated was how clean the place was. Both the restaurant area and the washrooms were spotless, which is always a good sign. The overall environment felt well-maintained, making it an easy place to relax without any fuss. If youβre looking for a big, clean, and comfortable Wetherspoon in Bristol with decent service, plenty of space, and the usual affordable menu, The Berkeley is a solid choice. It may not be the most exciting dining experience, but it delivers exactly what you expect in a calm and friendly setting.β
βGood wetherspoon on the harbour side. Coors Β£3 a pintβ
βAbsolutely stunning food, not sure what the older reviews are all about but i just had a cracking meal, super nice fairplay. I would definitely come back. Beer is great aswel with local ale on offer, some top lagers aswel, and with the thatchers factory a few miles up the road theres a great range of at least 4 different ciders offer, just lovely pub grub, really nice.β
βThey have the best service and delicious food! The burger was incredible! Onion rings nice and crispy and the chicken juicy and tender! Service goes without saying, Steve was great! Highly recommend!β
