βA very special time spent with a particularly fine and charming hostess, Patricia. In a delightful Georgian House originally owned by the renowned Fry family, set in a lovely position with attractive garden and country outlook and within minutes of the centre of the historic Axminster town square while enjoying very easy access to all the various amenities in the surrounding areas. Excellent accommodation and an outstanding home-cooked breakfast is just part of the many delights you may be sure you will experience at Compton House.β
βJack obviously loves cats and it shows in how he looks after the visiting cats. I have three big cats and they have bigger pens for them which is just great. I would highly recommend this place for your cats holiday.β
βMy cats very anxious but think she enjoyed her stay.very clean cattery got no faults and the staff are caring and lovelyβ
βWeβve been coming to Doggy Venturesβ day care/groomers for nearly a year now and the difference Catherine and her walkers have made to our little girl is amazing. Our dog suffers from severe separation anxiety which is why our vet suggested a day care. Catherine has been so kind and patient to our dog that if we mention Catherineβs name to her when weβre at home, the dog gets more excited then if we show her her lead! Catherineβs prices are very reasonable and she has always been very open with constant communication. Catherine and her team really make me feel as though our dog is very safe and highly cared for. Weβd also highly recommend the grooming service; weβve had so many compliments on our dogs cut, even from a crufts judge who we met on a walk! Every morning we arrive, our dog runs straight to Catherineβs front door and when itβs time to go home at the end of the day, our dog is just doesnβt want to leave!! Thank you for everything Doggy Ventures!β
βExcellent well appointed studio apartment in Bristol, with a lift. Easy check in with codes texted before arrival. Easy to find next to Brewdog yet lovely and quiet due to cul de sac location. So near to town attractions. Great open plan apartment with comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Would definitely stay again.β
βSo I've been going to Milo's 3 days a week with my besties, Simon and Helen for ummm, well I'm not so good at hooman time but basically forever and it's great. I get to play with my friends all day on the beach or in the woods. We also play in the paddock by the house and when I'm tired I can snooze by the Aga. Only thing is I think mum told them what training I'm doing so sometimes I get lessons. When I get home I am exhausted, which mum loves, the photo is of me when I've come home! I've even heard mum ask if they let hoomans book in. I think they must send 'school reports' every day as my mum always knows what I've been doing... I can't get away with anything. Love it here though, I'm even staying here for my holidays soon... can't wait. Love Bertie.β

βVery clear check in process, and a comfortable, homely acomodation. Understanding, accomodating customer service with great communication. It was perfect to stay there with our daughter. Thanks very much!β
βThis is a two star hotel with a five-star attitude. The rooms are immaculately appointed en-suite doubles traditionally designed to deliver old-fashioned comfort and ambience. Cleanliness and high standards of maintenance are everywhere. The public areas are warm and welcoming beyond what many other hotels ever achieve; this is a real home from home. The restaurant, bar, and lounge combine a subtle balance of intimacy and homely warmth that affords guests their own choice of personal space or friendly interaction with other guests. The restaurant's generous and varied gourmet menu brings you first-class choices from simple farmhouse trad dinning to four course gourmet feasts that will delight you. The wine menu is a superb selection of fine wines for every occasion which the hosts will be delighted to advise you on if you wish. The heart of The Old Malt House is the delightful family who own and run it. They host their home and their business with dedication that is reflected in every aspect of what they do and you expect. If you value the genuine, old fashioned values of service and hospitality from a family run hotel, you have arrived at the right place. In comparison with similar hotels and restaurants in Bath, the Old Malt House offers you superior value for money, service and quality of life than any other establishment. Don't get stuck in town, step 6 miles South of Bath and experience beautiful, ancient rural Wiltshire first hand.β
βWe couldn't stay overnight but popped in for Breakfast at 7:30am on a Saturday as last time it was so good. It was a Brilliant Breakfast again. Full English for Β£10.90 (Dec 25) The quality, range and service were excellent. The Sausage was more than an inch in diameter as tasted gorgeous. Don't think we will be able to eat until tomorrow.β
βThe Priory is local to us & we have thought about booking the restaurant for quite some time, but I find it hard to try new places. We were gifted a voucher for the restaurant last Xmas, so last week we finally used it. We booked via the website & added our usual request for quiet area as ASD. I have to say I was apprehensive, but I was very impressed. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and the staff so friendly. I felt VERY comfortable here, which for a first visit, is high praise indeed! We sat in the panel room, with dark wood panelled walls. As they were quieter on the evening we came, they gave me a choice of table, which I really appreciated! (I would book this table again in the future!) We were looked after by David, & he was great - just the right balance of attentiveness! We chose from the three course set menu and the food was delicious. Hubby had cured smoked duck to start, I had smoked ham hock and jalapeΓ±o croquettes - the duck was so tender & the croquettes crispy & melty inside. We both had the pork loin for mains, with triple cooked chips & roasted Jerusalem artichokes to share. Again, we couldnβt fault anything. The pork loin was slightly pink and melted in your mouth, the chips were amazing & the artichokes were gorgeous. A great pairing! Finally we decided on the Orange & Almond cake & the cheese board to finish, which we also shared. Again, perfection! Another point for us is, as real ale drinkers, so often you find that restaurants in hotels skip on the cask ales, but The Priory have their own pale ale as well as one of our favourites - Bath Ales, Gem! Thank you for a lovely evening, our first visit but definitely not our last.β
βMy car broke down so we got stranded in Usk for 3 days, but luckily we found this beautiful hotel. Rooms are immaculate, staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is central and the hotel has a lovely garden. Highly recommended!β
βLovely historic building that is well maintained. The staff are all very approachable and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.β
βShannise was really helpful and took time to show me around the gym and pool areas prior to booking my membership. Shannise was professional and took the time to take me through the flexible offer of the gym and pool and also the classes as well. Very easy process and also provided a blue light discount on membership as well.β
βMy partner and I have stayed here twice now and it never disappoints. This week and back last year for a city break. The staff there are always welcoming in a friendly manner. The rooms we stayed in are always clean and presentable too. The hotel is in a perfect spot of the city because youβve got Brewers Fare next door, close to two shopping centres, restaurants, a Odeon cinema up the road and lots of nice destinations to visit for tourists. I totally recommend it!β
βThe perfect venue for a 40th birthday, the Library felt as special as the staff made us feel throughout. Food was amazing and of course the cocktails and range of local beers top notch. Weβve popped by a few times for drinks or food, which always feels like a treat date night. Highly recommend.β
βA superb stay in Bristol, close to city centre, bus routes and restaurants, cafes and bars . We were at the university open day , it was a 10 minute walk to the university. We used a deluxe room ( double with single ) for three people, the room was spacious , the bathroom was extremely clean .the service was excellent. Check in and checkout was easy , 24/7 reception staff available. Ice dispenser in the corridor was very useful. The breakfast buffet- perfectly cooked and tasty hot English breakfast along with a wide selection of fruits, yogurts, cheeses as well as English continental options, Highly recommend to book breakfast online when you book the room . A five star experience in Bristol!β
βThis was our second stay at the fabulous Bristol Hotel. My wife had recently fractured her ankle, and this was her 1st trip out of the house in weeks. The reception staff were amazing. They changed our room to one a lot more usable for someone on crutches without us even asking us. The restaurant and bar staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us to make sure my wife was comfortable and could get around easily. Great choice of food and drinks, and the service was excellent. The rooms are luxurious, clean, and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The rooms come with everything you need for a great stay. Would we stay here again.......... YES We would like to thank all the staff for making us feel welcome and looking after us.β
βWas great living in this apartment complex. Well equipped ammenities and right in the heart of town.β
βDelighted with the service from Morgan Hendy at the Bristol branch. He gave me and my friend loads of time to sort our trip, made significant efforts to understand our needs, and saved us a decent Β£ on the booking. Would definitely recommendβ

βHad a one night stay at The Elm Guest House and it was such a lovely experience. Coffee and tea available and a lovely comfortable bed. Will certainly come back again. Thank you.β
βI've come here a few times for Christmas and a date or two. Really nice inside, friendly staff and the food was phenomenal! I make the effort to come here when I'm around town. No complaints!β
βWe didnβt know what to expect when booking the snooty Fox as this was given to us as an experience 2 night away gift. I can happily say my husband and I had a fantastic two nights stay with the snooty Fox. The reception area for dining area and pub were pleasantly clean and welcoming. The staff were incredibly attentive as well as interested in communicating with their guests. The dinner and service was perfect on both nights. We wouldnβt usually eat at the same place twice while away but the first night blew us away and we were more than happy to return the following night, there are plenty of place to eat around there with great reviews, but Iβm glad we ate there both nights. There is so much to see around the area and surroundings. We would happily stay here again.β
βHad a delicious family meal at The Oakhouse in Axbridge. The Sunday Roast chicken and beef and the vegetarian Wellington were lovely and clean plates all around. It was good that there were also menu choices other than Sunday Roasts available. We also all had desserts, which were again delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We'd definitely go again.β
βAbsolutely gorgeous food, best we have had in a long long time. Service was amazing. Will definitely be coming back βΊοΈβ
βExcellent service off friendly staff. The breakfast is second to none and the restraunt is incredible. I will be staying here again on a regular basis. The best Premier inn I have stayed in by a mile.β
βI organised a reunion at very short notice, contacted the staff at the Centurion to see if they could host us and they were outstanding. They did everything to make it work for us and as a result, it was a great success. The entire staff was incredible, especially Jenny who went above and beyond. Weβre going back in the summer to do it all again.β
βI had a fantastic full body massage with Adriana. She was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable, and she helped me identify what might be causing my muscle pain and how I could work on fixing it. The pressure was perfect and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing and restorative. I left feeling refreshed and relieved. I highly recommend.β
