“Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! “We held our wedding here, 26 people - the whole experience was outstanding. The castle is obviously very beautiful- it is also maintained so well, and rooms full of lovely touches. Staff are always friendly yet unobtrusive, helpful and efficient - special thanks to Sophie for always being calm and amazingly helpful. The food was wonderful, over all our visits and the wedding itself.. Our day was so very special here!”

“Hotel is excellent, rooms emaculate, so clean. Every detail taken care of beautiful soap, shampoo and conditioner. Also, have hairdryer and straighteners which was brilliant. Staff absolutely wonderful. We also, went to Diner and food and service fabulous. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much”

“We find the hotel very good. A few minor things stopped us giving 10/10 in all categories. 15 mins easy walk from Temple Meads station. We didn't eat there this time however we have in the past and the food was excellent. The reception staff are very helpful and there is a nice relaxing atmosphere in the bar. Overall very good. Will stay again no doubt!”

“I stayed for one night, and it was my first time doing so. The property is very well decorated and appointed and well as being very, very clean. Check-in was simple, and the lady checking me was brilliant and helpful. The rooms are well above average. The pillows, quilt, towels, and accessories are all of a very high quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay, and I will do so again.”

“Amazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to park”

“6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”

“A last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.”

“We cannot fault our stay at Hotel Indigo, Bath. We were greeted so warmly by Emily & Alberto. Our vaulted room was incredible!! It was spacious, clean, comfortable & it had the biggest bath tub we've ever seen!! The hotel is located close to the city centre & was only a short stroll to the famous Roman Baths. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar & had some delicious cocktails. Check-out was quick & easy. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo, Bath & we are definitely looking forward to staying again one day.”

“Lovely place. You'll find in the kitchen everything you need. Bed are super comfy too. Set of towels are provided for each person. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Very clean. A bit far from Bristol town centre by walk but if you have a car it is only 15 minutes drive.”

“We stayed at this delightful hotel for just a few days and will return again. Breakfast was great and so was dinner. It’s centrally located in the town so you can walk to many places. There is just one concern we had: all rooms are one to two flights up with no elevator.”

“We stayed here as it was 300 yards away from the Bristol Heart Institute where my son was having a procedure, it is one of the best apartment that I have stayed in Bristol, it had everything that you needed! The place was spotless , everything about it was perfect, the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of tea and coffee , the beds were so comfy , the living room with comfy sofas and a large dining table which was very light and airy , and the added bonus of parking on site as parking can be an issue in Bristol . Beautiful apartment thank you!!”

“Near Shirenewton but on the main road. Good access . Plenty of parking . Old fashioned pub . But the food is home cooked and tastes delicious . Managed a pudding that was lovely . Well worth a visit. Did not take advantage of the rooms there but the restaurant was clean and tidy , with good old fashioned welcome by the landlady .”

“We were warmly greeted when we entered this super country pub/hotel - it looked so inviting as we passed a couple of times - especially at night as every effort has been made to get in the Christmas spirit! Chad showed us to our table and took our drink orders - I had a delicious 'Butty Bach' and my wife, an Amstel. We ordered Fish and Chips and a Baked Camembert. Having had Fish and Chips at a local 2 Rosette restaurant two nights previously that was really disappointing, we were keen to love our fish and chips again. It was outstanding! Fully of flavour and perfectly cooked. Care was taken to present the baked camembert with a festiv touch and was equally outstanding. We left very happy. Thanks to Chad for looking after us - in fact, the whole team were very welcoming!”

“Am glad to be one of Lets Rent's tenants. Right off the bat, Usman was really easy to communicate with, had all the information I needed during the viewings and application process, which made everything so much easier. Then I got to meet the team; Usman, Seb, and Adil are all very friendly, polite, and really did go the extra mile to help me settle into my new place. The welcome box of treats is a nice touch. Requests for repairs were actioned immediately, and my issue was resolved the following day. Communications has also been great, I've been kept informed on important contacts should I need them during the holiday season. What more could one ask for really? 10/10 would rent with them again.”

“Excellent well appointed studio apartment in Bristol, with a lift. Easy check in with codes texted before arrival. Easy to find next to Brewdog yet lovely and quiet due to cul de sac location. So near to town attractions. Great open plan apartment with comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Would definitely stay again.”

“We’ve been coming to Doggy Ventures’ day care/groomers for nearly a year now and the difference Catherine and her walkers have made to our little girl is amazing. Our dog suffers from severe separation anxiety which is why our vet suggested a day care. Catherine has been so kind and patient to our dog that if we mention Catherine’s name to her when we’re at home, the dog gets more excited then if we show her her lead! Catherine’s prices are very reasonable and she has always been very open with constant communication. Catherine and her team really make me feel as though our dog is very safe and highly cared for. We’d also highly recommend the grooming service; we’ve had so many compliments on our dogs cut, even from a crufts judge who we met on a walk! Every morning we arrive, our dog runs straight to Catherine’s front door and when it’s time to go home at the end of the day, our dog is just doesn’t want to leave!! “So I've been going to Milo's 3 days a week with my besties, Simon and Helen for ummm, well I'm not so good at hooman time but basically forever and it's great. I get to play with my friends all day on the beach or in the woods. We also play in the paddock by the house and when I'm tired I can snooze by the Aga. Only thing is I think mum told them what training I'm doing so sometimes I get lessons. When I get home I am exhausted, which mum loves, the photo is of me when I've come home! I've even heard mum ask if they let hoomans book in. I think they must send 'school reports' every day as my mum always knows what I've been doing... I can't get away with anything. Love it here though, I'm even staying here for my holidays soon... can't wait. Love Bertie.”

“This was our second Christmas stay. 3 years ago Christmas Day was pretty chaotic but overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we were quite happy to go back. The room, the service, the staff, the restaurant was excellent. Christmas Day service from Buddy The Elf (Cosmin), Alessandro (Alex) and *all* the staff in the restaurant was superb. I rarely write reviews and am accustomed to moaning about lack of service these days so feel duty bound to say a really big thank you given that we were so well looked after by everyone at The Hotel du Vin Bristol City. “We had the most wonderful 3 day Christmas package, everything was beyond first class. From the moment we arrived on Christmas Eve we were welcomed with mulled wine, Prosecco and mince pies. Every meal we had was superbly cooked and presented, the chefs were fantastic. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay so memorable, especially Amy, who was always ready for a chat.”
