“We stayed at this delightful hotel for just a few days and will return again. Breakfast was great and so was dinner. It’s centrally located in the town so you can walk to many places. There is just one concern we had: all rooms are one to two flights up with no elevator.”

“Great stay with the family. Super friendly staff who welcomed us, after a delayed flight, at 3am still with a smile and genuine care. Excellent breakfast. Location is perfect in a calm location yet walking distance from Usk center.”

“Amazing. Our room was lovely. Staff were lovely (thanks Noah in the bar). Perfectly located for everywhere. Lovely breakfast. I wish the walled garden had been promoted a little more as we didn't know it was there. Lovely free standing bath in our bathroom. Super fluffy towels. Lots of lovely little lounges to sit in and free tea/coffee and newspapers. I begrudge paying to park”

“A last minute online search for a hotel resulted in a wonderful but brief stay at Harington's. Beautifully clean room with charming, quirky decor. Extremely comfortable bed with quality bedlinen. Very peaceful at night with no noise from the street. In the morning a delicious breakfast, cooked fresh to order with good coffee. Super service from all staff, especially the lady on reception as I arrived very late in the evening and she sent me two texts with information and to make sure I was on my way. I will definitely return and recommend to others. Only slight downside was the lack of black out blinds as the street lights did come through the curtains.”

“Near Shirenewton but on the main road. Good access . Plenty of parking . Old fashioned pub . But the food is home cooked and tastes delicious . Managed a pudding that was lovely . Well worth a visit. Did not take advantage of the rooms there but the restaurant was clean and tidy , with good old fashioned welcome by the landlady .”

“Am glad to be one of Lets Rent's tenants. Right off the bat, Usman was really easy to communicate with, had all the information I needed during the viewings and application process, which made everything so much easier. Then I got to meet the team; Usman, Seb, and Adil are all very friendly, polite, and really did go the extra mile to help me settle into my new place. The welcome box of treats is a nice touch. Requests for repairs were actioned immediately, and my issue was resolved the following day. Communications has also been great, I've been kept informed on important contacts should I need them during the holiday season. What more could one ask for really? 10/10 would rent with them again.”

“We stayed here as it was 300 yards away from the Bristol Heart Institute where my son was having a procedure, it is one of the best apartment that I have stayed in Bristol, it had everything that you needed! The place was spotless , everything about it was perfect, the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of tea and coffee , the beds were so comfy , the living room with comfy sofas and a large dining table which was very light and airy , and the added bonus of parking on site as parking can be an issue in Bristol . Beautiful apartment thank you!!”

“I stayed for one night, and it was my first time doing so. The property is very well decorated and appointed and well as being very, very clean. Check-in was simple, and the lady checking me was brilliant and helpful. The rooms are well above average. The pillows, quilt, towels, and accessories are all of a very high quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay, and I will do so again.”

“Lovely place. You'll find in the kitchen everything you need. Bed are super comfy too. Set of towels are provided for each person. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Very clean. A bit far from Bristol town centre by walk but if you have a car it is only 15 minutes drive.”

“We had the most wonderful 3 day Christmas package, everything was beyond first class. From the moment we arrived on Christmas Eve we were welcomed with mulled wine, Prosecco and mince pies. Every meal we had was superbly cooked and presented, the chefs were fantastic. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay so memorable, especially Amy, who was always ready for a chat.”

“Booked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.”

“Had a absolutely lovely Sunday roast pork today. Started with a prawn cocktail which was more then I expected size wise. The roast was cooked just right , great Yorkshire pudding to match. Service was quick , polite and checked on how our food was and checked if there was anything they could do. 10/10 on all counts. Was also unusual for someone from Australia to eat in a pub that was built in 1590. Great atmosphere,well done to all”

“This was our second Christmas stay. 3 years ago Christmas Day was pretty chaotic but overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we were quite happy to go back. The room, the service, the staff, the restaurant was excellent. Christmas Day service from Buddy The Elf (Cosmin), Alessandro (Alex) and *all* the staff in the restaurant was superb. I rarely write reviews and am accustomed to moaning about lack of service these days so feel duty bound to say a really big thank you given that we were so well looked after by everyone at The Hotel du Vin Bristol City. “Absolutely superb from startbto finish. Met by the gentleman doorman...reception staff were brilliant. Stunning room and incredible facilities. Loved the smooth radio station on in the room to arrive to. Great bar staff, excellent service, just wish we had the time to have had our evening meal there. Perfect location. Historic and so well maintained. The breakfast was second to none. Highly Highly recommend it.”

“Second time I’ve stayed in this hostel and I love it! The staff is incredibly lovely and helpful, they make you feel at home. The first time I had a private room and it was perfect. The second time I stayed in a shared room and it was a bit small and awkward having 3 level bunk beds, it was definitely harder to get good sleep but still an overall nice experience.”

“We spent three nights here and we could have quite happily stayed longer. The room was lovely, it was a really good size with a four poster bed, sofa and all the things you would expect. It was a superior room and well worth paying the little extra for, good value. Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly staff. There is free parking too.”

“There are no other pet boardings that I would feel as comfortable leaving my two rabbits with as Fluffy Friends Hotel. I know Heidi will take the best care of them and I feel like they have their own little holiday too. Nothing but a 5 star experience each time - I would 100% recommend!”

“Truly beautiful settling. The owner here is so considerate and clearly loves the properties very much. All the little touches, from cake in our cottage on arrival, all the amenities you could need (salt, pepper, tea coffee) plus the benefit of dogs allowed AND electric charging point made this 5* for us. I really cannot speak highly enough of this place, it’s been a welcome retreat for us after lockdown. Quality bedding, spacious cosy rooms, functioning facilities, washing and drying amenities plus a large garden area which is impeccably manicured. Would highly recommend. Very rural, but local scenery is very accessible, cheddar gorge is close by plus the seaside at western super mare. Plus cute dogs live here (Harry is the black dog, Louis the golden one is our dog).”

“It was very nice place to have a break but it wasn't great for us to going upstairs and down again, also slippery floor a special in shover room so we ask for mat and was delivered to us immediately. Egypt Mill restaurant very handy and served fantastic food, never been problem with parking witch was so good.”
