“Quality of food varies but definitely more hit than miss. Cash only but great value for money. Best prawn toast I've had in bristol. Duck fried rice excellent. Really good noodles. Gutted to have moved to the other side of bristol. I'd collect where possible (delivery can take a little while).”

“Ordered Curry Goat, rice & peas and some festivals. The delivery was speedy, the food was fresh & piping hot. Although it was a bit more expensive than others the food was delicious. Do not rush this food as it tastes better after every mouthful. The rice was fluffy, the salad was fresh. The goat melted in my mouth & was fine quality. It was one of the nicest curry goat that I've had & seasoned perfect with fresh herbs. I would order from them again as I have used them a few times & it's always been good.”

“Just had a lovely weekend away, and stay at the Lamp Post Villa. The room was modern with an ensuite shower, and very comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was included in the price: juice, lovely filter coffee, tea, toast, preserves, croissants, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit and set you up for a good start to the day. The location was great, only a 10 minute, pleasant walk to the centre. The b&b offers great value, and the host Carmine was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.”

“Best Chinese in town and one of the best I’ve ever had. The food tastes fresh, with flavourful natural ingredients and crunchy vegetables that enhance the natural taste. Unlike other places where the you can actually taste the flavouring powder, this tastes like it's coming from the ingredients themselves. Literally, my mouth is watering as I write this. “Been wanting to try this place since I saw the video of Marco PW reviewing it eating here on Instagram. It was a weekday lunchtime, I was the only visitor. There’s a deal for one person set menu. £26 gets you any two starters, any main plus any rice or noodle dish. The food was excellent, absolute perfection. I wish I had been more adventurous as there are so many interesting dishes on the menu. I will be coming back and bringing a group next time.”

“I lived near this Pizza Hut in university and probably got it at least once a week. I’ve had many Pizza Huts from different branches, and the Bath one is easily the best. “This notification suggests this is about the café inside the reception area of Bath College, although the part I'm filling in gives no clues... So I'll review both: Briefly, although it's a little disorganised, everyone's very friendly and they make a big effort to be helpful and fix things, and they're good at finding the staff responsible for the area of concern. As a brief look around the library confirms the academic range & depth is deliberately limited to concentrate on introductions to specific subjects, so they can concentrate on helping in very specific ways and not get bogged down. They have an impressive range of services not related to coursework, to support students, including help with health, finance, travel to the campus, and any other barriers to learning; and this goes beyond and in addition to the usual public services. Eg, if you can get help with a disability on the NHS but have to wait a bit longer than practical, you can get that help a lot faster as a student. A local student pass also gives you discounts at businesses outside the college, and qualifies you for NUS membership, which gives you an even better range of discounts, eg on Amazon products, and the student edition of software licences. The discounts and services do not discriminate, so you're eligible for support & subsidiaries outside the days/hours you normally attend, and the subject areas you're studying. Back to the café area: There's a café atmosphere in the reception part for meetings etc, with a counter service, and that's very light & spacious, with comfortable seats & tables, and a high quality & range of food & drinks. There is also a section serving meals, although that's currently restricted due to infection control and improvement work.”

“Went with a friend for breakfast today. What a wonderful treat. Opted for the full breakfast option and whilst we waited we had cereal and fruit. Food was absolutely delicious and our lovely waitress Gwen brought me my GF toast with it. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They walked me through the menu step by step, and when the food arrived, they even bought me separate cutlery, so I knew there was no cross contamination.
