“Cosy store in cosy location. Feels very friendly. However, it seems there's a slight problem with management. I picked up a tub of yoghurt and it spilled all over me.. it was open!! Also, in the big water section, there were no multi pack of normal water, only individual bottles.”

“I have been with Richard and Vale Vets for the last 10 years and I have had nothing but a great service throughout those years. More recently this past December my dog Lexi who is now 13 years old went in for a general check of health, but Richard discovered a mass growing in her stomach. It was not looking good for Lexi as she was an older dog. We didn't know how she was going to react to surgery, we didn't know whether or not she would survive the anesthetic and we did know how much of the mass had integrated into the rest of her body. We made the decision to go ahead with the surgery to give Lexi the best chance of surviving. Richard and his team went above and beyond to care for Lexi and I could never have asked for a greater group of people to care for her. Somehow Richard managed to remove a two kilogram mass from Lexi, Lexi only being 18 kilogram to start with. The surgery was successful and Lexi had come out of the anesthetic. We went in to the surgery to meet with Richard and to see Lexi for the first time, we were given all of the options where it was a 50/50 chance whether or not Lexi would survive the night and we made the decision that we would care for her at home regardless of the outcome, which we had the full support of Richard and his team and again I echo that they were amazing and went above and beyond their job and they there responsibilities. Richard didn't have to do this but he kept in touch with me. He was about to go on holiday with his family, but he kept in touch with me all the way through the night to make sure that Lexi was still going strong. Lexi made it through the night. Lexi was back at the surgery the next day to have a check up, watching her walk back into the building was one of the proudest things I've seen that old dog do. She was greeted with affection from everybody and by this time everybody had heard the story of Lexi and everyone was truly amazed that she had pulled through what was a horrific surgery. We are now three months on and Lexi is doing better than ever. She is running around with our kids, still thinking she is still a puppy. Lexi would not be here if it wasn't for Richard and the team at Barry Vale Vets. We could never thank you all enough.”

“Phoned today in the hope they may have an item for my Mother, spoke to a lady called Andrea who was very helpful explaining there was a national shortage of the item. But unlike previous pharmacies I tried she explained about the minor ailments scheme and how they could provide an alternative item. Allowing me time to try and source the item.”

“I visited the pharmacy department last Thursday. They were obviously very short staffed and the lady that served me was dealing with a long queue of people waiting for prescriptions as well as the pharmacy counter. Despite being extremely busy, she was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed”

“ASDA in Weston-super-Mare is a large, well-stocked supermarket that makes shopping quick and easy. The aisles are spacious, the selection is wide — from fresh food and bakery items to clothes and home essentials — and prices are good. The store is clean and generally well organised, and the staff are helpful when you need assistance. Plenty of parking outside, which is a plus. A reliable place for a full shop or a quick top-up.”

“Clean and tidy, loads of parking, plenty of stock. Lots of other services like Amazon parcel return, rug doctor, McDonald's, fuel etc.”

“I phoned the pharmacy this morning in a bit of a panic as my GP surgery was out of appointments by 8:04. The pharmacist working, Waqar, was unbelievable. I had a few sensitive issues I was concerned about . He listened, had a tremendous about of empathy and addressed the concerns one by one. “Fab Asda, huge amount of self scans so queuing isn't usually a problem, other than that it is your typical Asda, there is tons of parking althoigh there have been struggles to find a space before. Staff are helpful when needed, I have nothing bad to say, overall great Asda”

“I went to the pill store yesterday, go through the till I want to use my reward points wasn’t sure how to use them so the lady on the till called some young girl over. She was very rude and didn’t have a clue. I just walked away and left me stood there so they called a lady call Janet. “Nice place to go for groceries. They are open until 11pm. Presence of security is a plus. Great variety of options from produce to technology essentials. Cafe, books, snacks, pharmacy, etc. Loads of self service till as well as with cashier ones. Well lit place. Loo is way back on the left side. Cashpoint near entrance. Excellent location.”
