“Special & “an Experience” - there is no other way to describe it except to say good value too. The decor is amazing and the service formal but in a wonderful way. It’s not somewhere to dash in and dash out. Rather it’s somewhere to relax and soak up the experience. Arguably, other places can sell better perhaps but none will rival will rival the range of menu options or the experience. The central bar island is a work of art and the venue loaded with wonderfully tended plants and interesting art. Where else can you have Champagne for breakfast?”

“Absolutely stunning meal! I am fussy with my steak buy owner explained how he would cook it and it was the tastiest ,nicest steak ive had. Cauliflower wings to stary which again were full of flavour. Hot ,homemade chips - can't fault it! Definitely reccomend and cant wait to return again.”

“Went to watch The Rock Orchestra last night. It was an amazing venue and the was wonderful. Stage was huge and very large seating area, seemed like you would have a good view no matter where you sat. Sound and lighting was great. We didnt have a drink but they seemed to have lots on offer. Toilets were ok and there were plenty of cubicles. Venue staff were efficient and friendly.”

“Stayed here for 3 night from the 28th of July 2025, was made welcome from a lovely guy called CHRIS who assigned us room 103. I've stayed in many 5* hotels in America, Asia and Europe, and although this was a budget hotel CHRIS was by far the best front of house staff we ever encountered. Throughout our stay CHRIS was so helpful for any information we required and couldn't help us enough. We came as guests and left as friends. Thanks CHRIS.”

“I love this place, I came back with my family for a meal and the food is always a 10/10. I got the filly cheese sandwich and garlic mash and it was flavourful. The staff always has a smile on their which gives the place a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!”

“Food and drinks at Stable today, I forget how great this place is. Firstly booked for 6 but ended up being 8 which was accommodated with no fuss. Pizza's were insane. The best selection of ciders and beers. Staff amazing too. Great, straightforward, no fuss, good value, delicious food, great service. Just what we all needed after Cardiff Half.”

“Booked for lunch. My wife had Spanish meatballs followed by halibut while I had salad, from the salad bar, followed by the home made beef pie. These were the 2 course lunch specials at £24 each. Both were delicious: the pie especially, with very tender meat, rich gravy and a light flakey crust (no pastry shell). Plus 2 drinks each and two coffees. Total cost £65. Excellent value, and excellent service. Highly recommended.”

“I recently dined at Ponnuswamy Restaurant and it was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and food was the real highlight. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend Ponnuswamy restaurant to anyone looking for South Indian cuisine. I’m already planning my next visit.”

“This store caters for Muslims and is 100% halal. The food here was better than expected after planning to visit an alternative restaurant which was small and didn’t have enough seating. There was a party of 8 of us, there was plenty of seating at slam burger. Service was great, menu was easy to understand. Waiting was not an issue and a tag was provided and was ready to pick up when beeping. Restroom was pretty clean for the general area. And lastly meal was enjoyable for everyone except the chicken wings were a little bit on the salty side. Meal costs from £5-12 at time of review which was very affordable. People who leave bad reviews for deliveries can’t expect the food to be perfect… Overall very decent place to eat. Thanks!”

“What a great restaurant. Been to the India Gate many times over the years I've lived around the area. Amazing quality Indian food that is surprisingly well priced. Recently I had the chicken tikka masala classic, with onion bhaji starter. Both amazing, sauce that came with the Bhaji was unusual but so so good. Table gets a serving of poppadoms that comes with delicious sauces and toppings Service staff are smartly dressed and efficient. Didn't have to wait for anything despite every table in the place being full. Atmosphere is cosy but professional. Only downside is you may need to book a table because they are always so busy due to their consistent quality through the years.”

“Visited King Balti on Saturday (7th September) and was really impressed. The staff were really friendly and were really good with our children. The food came out very quickly after ordering and it was really delicious. The meat was a high standard with very few grisly/fatty bits and the curries were very tasty (keema rezala especially... yum!). I think we have found our new local curry house :-)”

“We went here as we was totally depressed walking towards The New Theatre with the many chain restaurant options. No thanks. We food this little gem right at the end just across the road from the theatre. Very warm welcome sat down straight away to a table for two. Busy, lively and fun. Service was excellent, fast and attentive. Food was quick to come out but not rushed. Cracking food all round. I personally felt the starters was a bit pricey but was delicious so... Would definitely go again. Clean and tidy through out quick to take plates or empty bottles etc. Excellent meal all round.”

“Food was lovely. I had the breaded chicken breast with fries, coleslaw, and egg. My mum had a full english breakfast. Didn't like the capers on top though I think it kinda ruined the meal but It's my own fault for forgetting to ask to remove them. Full english breakfast was lovely. They take blue light card which is great if you want a decent discount. It took a very long time for staff to take our order and bring the bill, it was busy though. I'd recommend if its not busy and if you have a blue light card as the price would be worth it for the discount. Suitable for people with food allergies and had no issues with that.”
