“Great location- about 20 minutes walk to Edinburgh centre or less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. The Guest house was lovely. We stayed on the top floor which had a nice view. The room was good for two people. Free WiFi in the room and even just outside the front door. The manager was really helpful in everything we needed. It was in a quiet neighbourhood that felt quite safe. There were many dining and coffee places nearby as well as supermarkets. I would definitely like to stay there if in Edinburgh again!”

“Limited parking, but perfect place to get bus service”

“I was there in 1999 & 2001 with my family, we were really happy being there. Small but confortable rooms , well done and delicious Scottish breakfast included.. I hope for July 2023 it will be available to receive me and 2 friends.. it will be an awesome experience and grateful MEMORIES .”

“Its a lovely starbucks store, just on the corner of Lothian road, which is pretty close to my accommodation on Grove St. I ordered a tall Latte which is very delicious. The space for costumers is not quite large, about 10 square meters however I still love the atmosphere here.”

“Incredible ambiance and absolutely love the windows. I was well and truly shocked at the size of the regular cappuccino. It blew my mind out of the windows. The server was lovely and recommended a drink for my wife which turned out exactly as she had ever hoped and dreamed. Thank you Costa. Wicked.”

“I had a great experience at Starbucks thanks to Astra, the barista. She was polite, efficient, and very knowledgeable, handling everything smoothly despite the rush. Astra took the time to ensure my order was correct and delivered excellent customer service with a positive attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and contributes greatly to a welcoming atmosphere. Outstanding service all around.”

“Clean, friendly and good choice at breakfast, even a freshly cooked full English if wanted. On a main bus root with buses every few minuets to get into town centre. Very Impressed with management, I had a character picture done with my daughter which fell down and I forgot to pack it and they sent it back down to me. Was not an expensive item but something personal to us.”

“We stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We had a tuna mayo panini, a cheese & tomato panini, and pancakes , all fresh and tasty. The pancakes were so good that we ordered them again! The team were kind and welcoming, and they even found a spot inside for my large suitcase. Big thanks to Lucy,and Rachel for their friendly smiles and great service. We’ll definitely be back”

“Very friendly staff and their matcha was actually better than at other cafes I've been to. The gentle interior lighting and large windows also make it a comfortable atmosphere. The only change I'd make is to the generic pop music on the radio that can get a bit annoying if you're staying for a longer period. In that case I would recommend having headphones with you.”

“This has to be the most loviest hotel I’ve stayed at. It felt like home and I have a heavy heart leaving here tomorrow, I don’t want to go. The staff are absolutely amazing the food 10 out of 10 the chips are to die for! The bed… best sleep ever altho I was here for work it felt like I was on holiday and nothing was to much for the staff very kind helpful and chatty. Like I say I do not want to go but all good things have to come to an end. But bank on it I will be back FACT … left a mark on my heart ❤️”

“Excellent guest house and short bus ride to city centre”

“I was stranded in town, needing accommodation and I was referred to that place. Neil and Joyce, the hosts, went above and beyond the call of duty in order to help me. They have a charming house. Their rooms are beautifully and richly decorated and the whole place has a warm feeling. And, on top of this, they will cook you a fantastic, made to order, breakfast ! Highly recommended.”

“The service in here is always 10/10 the most lovely girls serving and making drinks and genuinely seem happy to help. The space itself is great, nice and spacious with plenty tables and lots of tables with charging points! It is popular as a place to work/study for a reason :) nice location and seems less busy than the princes street locations Toilets are kept nice and clean also”

“I stayed here for few nights. The place is very central, walkable distance to Edinburgh Castle. The host is an amazing person. I arrived bit early (almost 2 hours earlier than my checkin time), he made sure my room was ready and let me check in without any extra pay. Its really hard to find people like him these days. They made the room (bed) everyday. Room and bathroom was really clean. I would definitely recommend this place.”

“Vast open space compared to other Starbucks in Edinburgh. This is on the 1st floor of FountainPark Cineworld. You can enjoy a pre-cinema coffee here if you're early for your movie. They've a lift and also toilets, so the cafe is well equipped from different aspects to make a comfortable place for families of all ages to sit and relax.”

“We spent 3 days in Edinburgh and stayed at Aynetree. The host was super friendly and greeted us with a warm smile, explaining how to get to the city center and how to get back. The room was small but super cozy, warm, clean, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with soap, shower gel, and shampoo. There's also a room where you can eat, read, or watch TV. Bus stops and a well-stocked supermarket are just a short walk away. I'd love to stay here again. xoxoxo”
